“Thé only part that is good is the 6 large quick dial buttons. If the 40 dcb button is pressed the feedback us so loud it screeched rien the phone at both ends of the line. It doesn’t even have a hands free facility. In short a complete waste of money, very disappointed. We bought for someone with a hearing aid but it is of no help whatsoever. Did try to call before leaving this review but could get no answer.”

“Purchased the Geemarc CL455 Amplified Big Button Telephone and Answering Machine. We have a household full of seniors with various hearing difficulties. This phone has been brilliant - clear conversations, good answer machine and easy to see and use buttons. Nice loud ringtone. The only drawback is the fact that it only gives a maximum of 6 rings before the answer machine kicks in. When you're advancing in age one's sprinting ability diminishes! Although this phone has now been discontinued by the manufacturer I'm sure that some of their other models are also good. Efficient and quick delivery service from Hearing Direct Ltd and also their assistance with claiming back the VAT. I would be confident in purchasing other items from their wide range of aids and also in recommending this company to others.”

“I found that the hearing aid batteries we needed were stocked by Hearing Direct. They are rechargable button cells, so not many places would have them. I found this a convenient way of getting the batteries.”

“Alarm clock very good bright and loud pity the smoke alarm done'st seem to work when house smoke alarms go off. But have noticed if drilling in room it works also when hoovering. at least the wife will know when I'm doing DIY or hoovering.”

“These HD 390 aids have performed well and I am happy with them. I have had behind the ear aids in the past and ones which nestle just at the opening of the ear canal too. (HD500) Remembering that all hearing aids have some compromise, I think I like these the best and realise that I like the fact that they are hard to see, both by myself in the mirror and by other people. For me, I have learned that this invisibility is very important; without this I feel old - bit vain I suppose! The slight downside with the HD390 is a mild tendency to move out of the ear though I have not had one fall right out. Just check occasionally that they are secure as you do with spectacles. Push them in too far and they can hurt your ear a bit and interfere with the joint of your jaw. Just a matter of getting used to them, not a big problem at all. It would be nice to be able to have these adjusted by an audiologist, face to face using "real ear measurements", even just once when new, to be sure I am getting the most out of the aids. Maybe a plan for the future, Hearing Direct? Satisfied customer.”
