“Ordered the 3 Snailbeach hopper wagons,one in plain grey,one in brown and one in SDR livery. These were ordered on the Friday 12th August and delivered on the Saturday 13th August which I think was very fast. I was very pleased with the 009 hopper wagons and well packed. Thank you Hattons for the quickness of the delivery. Malcolm Ibbotson.”

“Purchased a Bachmann 7f described on wed site as used good condition tested dcc fitted when received loco had glazing loose in box tender kept derailing and yes no dcc fitted had to service the loco draw- bar between tender and loco in the wrong way poor running down to pickups not touching wheels contacted Hattons informed them of the problems informed i had put things right could they please forward me the dcc decoder NO NOT THEM they want to have the loco back and refund me yes sure of course you want it back and refund only now its put right still waiting for a manager to ring me back”

“I bought a KP (Czech model company) 1 :72 MiG 19. Although box was old (vintage kit), it was not worn & the condition of kit excellent. Kit dispatched promptly & was very well packaged. When I approached Hattons prior to purchase, they were very helpful via email- twice. Yes, would recommend Hattons...”

“I bought a Hattons original class 66 with sound fitted from Hattons just under 2 years ago, brilliant model BUT the motor developed a fault. Unfortunately Hattons do not sell and cant source any spare parts which means the loco us notw scrap, £265 down the drain. My advice is DO NOT BUY HATTONS ORIGINAL LOCOS, they are life limited....a very short life at that”

“Just received a replacement item(PLS-100) which I only sent back last Friday. Well done to you all and the Royal Mail. PS I have 4 peco code 75 small points on order since last november,I guess Peco have been on lockdown and not producing much,have you any news please?”

“I ordered a second hand Hornby 66 yesterday afternoon,received it this morning at10.20! Well packaged and in exactly the condition as described. I also had an order last week with the same result. At Christmas time I also had an order within two days! I look forward to meeting the exhibition team when things are back to nomal! Cheers from Sally and Ken”

“I preodered 2 rocket carriages on 1July the day Hornby announced them. Only to be told a couple of weeks ago that I would be getting nothing. I appreciate that hornby reduced the numbers what I mind is that Hattons could have reduced the number that people got instead of just cancelling orders. I cannot believe that many people had ordered them before I did.”

“Returned an item that arrived damaged and requested a refund Received an email to confirm they had received the item and also a notification of a credit note, even though I requested a refund . Then I received notification that a replacement had been posted out ...! Now I have to return that one at my own expense”
