Turf arrived on a lorry with no tail lift and no pallet truck. It was under a pallet of boxes squashed and torn. I had to climb in to the lorry and move the pallet myself and carry off 56 rolls of turf with my bare hands.

I specifically put in the delivery notes not to deliver on an arctic lorry, due to living in a small cup de sac. The courier confirmed it was in the notes. However it was delivered on one. The driver reversed down the road and blocked the road to deliver. My neighbours parking on other household driveways when arriving home. The driver was helpful and the turf was of good quality. Just a shame notes are not read and dealt with accordingly.

Not enough information online about TNT Express delivery arrangements - important to know when goods expected and if one has to sign for them and if this includes a Saturday. I phoned the day I placed the order and was told it would be the following day - a Friday. I was advised to leave a note on the door with instructions for delivery if I was to go out. I waited in all day but nothing arrived, it was a bank holiday weekend but I left a telephone message to say the order had not arrived on the Saturday and asked if someone could look into it. I phoned again the following Wednesday. Staff did look into it but it took all day and I phoned again in the afternoon but no news from TNT. I was phoned late in the afternoon and told that TNT had tried to deliver to the property twice but no-one was in! This annoyed me as it was not true. I waited in all day Friday and most of Saturday and left a note on the door with alternative arrangements when I went out on Saturday, Monday and Tuesday. No delivery and no card to say anyone had called. After a conversation I accepted the offer of another delivery date of the next day Thursday. I mentioned that my address is a new property built last year and that TNT would have to access via Bilston Street. I waited in all the following day but the delivery never arrived. I phoned again and requested a refund.

I ordered 15 square meters of grass and only 10 square meters was delivered. I emailed last night to inform you and you have not replied

Turf is lovely just a shame it was delivered today and not on Friday the 5th as I requested and paid for. Luckily it wasn't stolen as it was sitting there for 5 hrs! And luckily my work let me go early! There's a reason why someone specifys a date.

I paid extra for a 8-2 delivery and delivery turns up at 3pm. I called the office at after 2pm and was told driver was in traffic. When driver arrived he said he has had a easy drive and no traffic

Started well. Excellent quality turf on first pallet, arrived during scheduled delivery time. Turf laid easily and is thriving. However only one of the two pallets ordered was in the delivery. Got in contact and arranged for the missing half of the delivery to come a week later. Turf delivered was very dry and wilting badly when compared to the first half. Hopefully will recover with some TLC

Order didn't arrive either at the arranged time (paid for time slot) or on the specified day. Emailed them on the day to find out what was going on received no reply. Had to phone twice to rearrange delivery. Was going to recommend to a colleague who needed turf but warned them against it.

The turf was great, but the delivery guy was not a very warm and cooperative person and left the turf on the street. It took me hours extra to remove it from the street and get it in my garden.

The was delivered on Tuesday 1100 hours - We started laying it at 1030 the following day - the first pallet was ok - the grass was green but just starting to go yellow at the sides - once we got to the 2nd pallet the rolls were so hot smoke was coming out and a lot of the rolls had already deteriorated and unusable (burnt and black) - also the turf was very thinly cut - under an inch which meant that the shelf life of the grass was very short - lucky we had over ordered so we managed to salvage enough to complete the job but this was all very disappointing and as you had a 24 hour return policy from the delivery time it was to late to contact you once we got to the 2nd pallet - we will not be using your service again for our turf requirements

Jeez, what a bunch of bozos. Ordered a tonne of topsoil along with 2Kgs of grass seed, all booked in for delivery the next week. When it arrives, no grass seed! A quick call and it turns out they send the grass seed in the post! However, they don't bother until you get the soil, so you have to wait another few days before you can start work. Hopeless! They could at least send the grass seed the same day it's ordered so you've got it ready for when the topsoil arrives.

Not impressed with the latest delivery! Turned up a day late and look almost dead (yellowing grass like it hadn't seen day light for a few days). Its a shame really as the previous delivery was spot on. I just hope the grass recovers.

Hi Danny, So sorry to learn that your delivery was a day late and consequently that your turf arrived in poor condition.
