“I have applied the feed to my tuft two bottles but it has not done very much to the turfs”

“I ordered low fertility soil from Turfonline. They were very helpful and gave great service when I contacted them for advice about choosing the product. Likewise the delivery was excellent and prompt. The product itself was of inconsistent quality and very poorly stacked on the pallet. One bag had split, the some of the contents were extremely wet while others were dry, and one had a lot of seed matter inside which I need to remove before using the soil. That said these inconsistencies were not deal breakers for the project I am working on but they were a little disappointing. Overall the service outshone the quality of product.”

“We are really delighted by the quality of the Jubilee turf. It went down very easily and following all the rain we've had it has taken very well. From the house it's a complete transformation and looks like a carpet of green velvet. We were disappointed that the turf didn't arrive before 2 pm as we'd paid extra for that service. However, when I contacted Turfonline about it they refunded the extra money. All in all, very pleased with everything.”

“We looked at several places to buy some turf and we are so glad we choose Turfonline, we bought 50sqm and the turf was absolutely brilliant. We ended up with a lush green lawn, Would highly recommend, thank you”

“Good choice of different turf, reasonable prices and excellent delivery. The meadow grass turf I purchased has taken well and now has a lot of different species of clover and wildflowers growing. Have to add I got "Lucky" as it's rained almost none stop since I laid it, but every roll was in good condition and very much alive when I received it.”

“Our sedum matting arrived in good condition and already flowering. We live in a barn conversion which is down a quarter-mile, uneven, farm track, but this was no problem. I requested the delivery to be in as small a vehicle as possible, and it arrived in an 18-tonne truck. The driver called beforehand to say he was on the way and that he may have to meet us at the top of the track, as he wasn't sure that he'd be able to get all the way down. But in the end, he reversed skillfully all the way, and seemed to enjoy the challenge! This was very helpful, saving us the hassle of getting the turf into our car.”

“VERY DISAPPOINTED, AVOID. We bought the Meadowmat Birds and Bees Turf and low-fertility soil as recommended, for £498.82. This project was part of our daughter's Duke of Edinburgh Award (skills section), which we laid last Sept. 2022 outside her bedroom window. The vast majority is red campion, red clover, yarrow, a daisy and grasses. The description states 41 species..... we've had around 5 or 6 and it looks nothing like the photos suggest it will (see our photos after 10 months). We've contacted Customer Care asking if they can rectify the situation and they've offered us a packet of seeds to the value of £13.49. If we could have created this for £13.49 we surely would have. I've been in touch to pursue this and emails are now being ignored. Quite frankly disrespectful. We won't be using or recommending this company.”

“I ordered from here as my daughter was very happy with her order. I ordered the Jubilee lawn which is meant to be premium. Unfortunately I had a very different experience, the turf received was yellow and dry, completely opposite to what my daughter received. When I contacted customer service, they were extremely unhelpful and were very quick to pass on the blame and say “this is how it is meant to be delivered” when in fact it was not. It was most likely dried due to the UK heatwave and they tried to just get rid off it. Extremely disappointed with how unprofessional this company is. Save your money and shop elsewhere.”

“Good overall experience with Turfonline. The grass was delivered on the day stated as expected and was in excellent condition. The grass was laid in 25 degree heat during a Heat wave in June and after watering it every night its thriving. Very please. One note is that the delivery can be up to 7pm on the day of delivery (mine turned up at 6pm)”

“I recently purchased some Shadesman turf and I have to say it's probably some of the best looking turf I've ever purchased. However, it had made it's journey over a couple of very hot days and several rolls were suffering from heat stress on arrival. Customer service were amazing, I submitted date-stamped photos of the affected turf and was instantly granted replacement or refund with no hassles or quibbles. Many thanks for your help and keep knocking out great products.”
