“I have the walking boots and shoes and have rarely found anything that is so comfortable straight from the box. They also dont pinch any part of the foot unlike many that always have something not quite right.”

“I bought a pair of Grisport boots, however, I had to return them as they were not what I was looking for. The reurn process was easy, however, I was disappointed that it had not been made clear that there was a charge of £2.50. Only exchanges are free. It's a small sum, but I like complete transparency.”

“Great shoes. But I had to replace the laces with a better quality as they were too thin and short. I replaced the inner soles as well as the ones supplied to flimsy. Good fast delivery.”

“I recently bought a pair of Quatro boots to replace a new pair of Karrimors that failed on the fourth or fifth walk (a lace eyelet pulled out; probably a one-off manufacturing defect). The Karrimors were replacing a 15 year old pair of Karrimors that had seen good service and that I had been happy with. Having said that, and having had Merrells and Brasher boots in the past also, I can safely say that the Quatros are the most comfortable boots I have ever had. They are perfectly true to (EU) size, and - as Grisport say - are fully useable straight from the box with no breaking-in required. Not only that, they came with a complimentary pair of nice merino socks, a pair of decent gloves and a spare set of laces. Top quality and top service, and I feel as if the universe did me a favour when the Karrimors went wrong.”

“Recently bought a pair of Terrain boots. Prompt delivery, and as many others seem to have found, comfortable straight out of the box. Well made lightweight boot, just what I want for lowland trails and similar. I exchanged insoles with some sorbothane ones I already had, for improved comfort - just a matter of personal preference. Will definitely be thinking about Grisport again when I want a more robust pair for hill/mountain walking in the near future .”

“I didn’t think for one minute these would be comfortable from the moment I put them on, but they are, they really feel like slippers. I’m doing a charity marathon hike and have already done over 60 miles in these, they are so lite and comfortable as well as being waterproof. Very stylish too, love my new boots 🥾”

“I bought the Black and the Brown version of Livingston but haven't had time to wear the Brown version much. The Black version is very comfortable and fits well. I think though the laces are a let down because they are rather ligtweight and do not tighten sufficiently without the leather puckering up in places. A thinnish flat style of lace would work better.”

“What can I say but what a fantastic company. I have always bought my walking boots from Grisport as their boots are wearable straight out of the box and have a long returns policy if not ideal. I have very wide feet and I need to wear inserts in my boots. Thankfully their boots are deep enough to accommodate these and they do extra wide boots and unisex styles. Definitely a must go to company to use if you a regular walker and need boots that are comfortable and last.”
