Used to love it but now difficult to complain about numerous wrong or missing ingredients and they sent a box we didn't order with stuff we cannot eat!!! Fuming. V hard to complain to them now.

Not going well at the moment ...I've had no issues for months then all of a sudden some items are damaged .the ice packs are completely melted .this has happened now in the last 3 - 4 weeks .they have also changed from DPD to EVRI and that's when all these issues started ..I'm thinking of ending gousto once and for all

Just adding things to you basket means they are automatically ordered for you. This is terrible! I will not use this service again

We did not receive any chicken, yogurt, spring onions for the fajitas. We also only received one rice for the Thai curry. We were credited with just £6.75 compensation which will not even cover the cost of the missing chicken. When the issue was your error you should replace the items and send them out. Surely you can understand that a part refund is of no use to me at all. Clearly defeats the purpose of Gousto!! Really annoying and I will be leaving negative reviews.

I ordered a starter box I did not press the subscribe button. I was then sent a food box I did not ask for or want. I suspended my account. I later looked up see what menus there was and amazingly they sent a box again I did not order. Called to cancel everything then called to say a delivery I did not ask for gas come. Offered 30% off something I did not order them 70% Once you look they have got you avoid at all costs

I subscribed through my RAC breakdown cover. The meals are really good. However when I went to order my meals the following week. I was told I had no account. As it is a subscription I recieved my food parcel . So I got in touch with customer support, who said they had no account linked to any of my emails. They asked for my name address post code and telephone number. I supplied this. I had no reply. I again asked for a reason why. I was again I had no account and to supply my personal details so they could look into it. I advised they look at the email trail. I then said if I don’t have an account why am I receiving parcels and they were taking money from my account. Still no reply. I have contacted my bank to advise not to pay Gousto. I have informed Gousto. Guess what ? Today I have received a text from the delivery people to say my order is being delivered tomorrow. I have now sent those texts to Gousto. Let’s see if they make contact when they don’t get payment

Sadly Gousto has disappointed. I recently resubscribed after returning from working abroad. I used to love receiving my Gousto box and discovering exciting recipes, but this time round, what a let down. I ordered my first box only for it not to arrive. I waited in all day for it. At no point did anyone from Gousto contact me to let me know something had gone wrong. Only on my second call to customer services was I told that the box would not be arriving due to an error. My money would be refunded. So I had to make a quick scratch supper from whatever was in the fridge, as I’d not shopped due to expecting my box. There was no offer of reordering my box, I was told if I wanted another box I’d have to do it myself. To add insult to injury I then got an email from Gousto apologising and offering me a discount of 20% for the inconvenience! Really, that’s so generous, not! All I can think of is that Gousto has become so successful that they no longer feel that good customer service is important. It’s clear that the support desk is an outsourced call centre that have little connection with the business. I won’t be ordering again and have gone to a competitor.

I am SO happy with Gousto so far and massively impressed with the flavoursome meals that I've sampled. It's making me so sad to read so many negative reviews. I really hope that Gousto continue to send the delicious food and exciting recipes that I have been recieving. The only concern I have is that my eldest daughter and husband are so fussy that I can't order slimming meals which I would prefer.

I had been using Guosto for 3 months and not had a problem. Then as the weather got warmer my meat was turning up rancid and the freezer blocks were defrosted. I complained 3 times to different "customer care" people and they all said they would email UK and get someone to call me. I explained that the DPD driver, who has been delivering other stuff to me here for 5 years, told me my village is always last (6pm-7pm) on his route no matter what and that the food had been in his van since 8am in the morning. I wanted Guosto to deal with DPD as they are their clients... I heard nothing back so I cancelled all my future deliveries. As the summer arrives your meat will always be "off" by the time it arrives. In the reason for pausing my orders due to "problem with last order" and still never heard from them. Disgraceful "customer service" and no way to contact anyone in the UK. PLEASE AVOID IF YOU WANT Fresh SAFE FOOD.

We've been ordering Gousto for nearly 2 years now...always had great experiences, fresh food, prompt deliveries etc & on the rare occasions an item was missing I spoke to customer service and they solved it straight away with an immediate cover for that whole meal. Unfortunately in the last few months the box, ingredient and customer service has declined terribly! Lots of items missing, vegetables turning up moldy and one time completely infested with flies. So much so that we were unable to eat any of the other fresh food due to contamination...explained this to customer service who on many times offered me only £2 as an apology!! After explaining we couldn't have 4 completed recipes & didn't think this was a sufficient refund they explained to me it would be escalated & someone would get back to me. Almost been a month and have got nowhere & heard nothing. Customer service is now terrible, veg turning up in bad condition all the time. We have had so many meals ruined due to this - finally cancelled our subscription today & now looking for an alternative!

Enjoyed it to begin with but last box contained rancid gone off chicken thighs. The smell was so bad I almost threw up. Totally put me off very using gousto again.

Delivery incomplete and only a credit no refund offered. Next box did.not arrive at all!! Poor quality herbs and short dates. Horrendous. Competition is much better more professional.

Started off well for the first few deliveries and orders. Then over half the meals ordered are missing or changed ingrediants. If you try to complain they shut you down and treat you awful. Refunds forget it, rude yes they are. Chicken is rubbish, plastic containers for everything so cant understand there commitment statements for greener way to shop? DONT USE, terrible company, over charged produce and rude customer service!!!

We have used now for 6 months and probably had a missing ingredient or issue 3 times and we have 4 meals a week. It’s bought back variety to our meal, the fish and meat are so much nicer than supermarket foods. Disappointed so many reviews negative as it’s made my family so happy!

Had a look around the site to see what new recipes there were since I last used them.I didn’t check out as decoded it was too pricey without discount.Then received an email to say I’d been charged and money had already left my bank account when I looked.Because it was too close to delivery date they won’t cancel and instead offered me 30% discount of a BOX I DIDNT ORDER IN THE FIRST PLACE.Have now cancelled my account completely and won’t be using them again.

New customer. Don’t think I would have ordered after seeing these reviews. First recipe item missing . Hopefully the other 3 recipes have all itens. No issues with packaging and items all fresh I’ll see how it goes

Have used this company for 12 month. Fantastic meals until around 2 months ago when meals started to 'cheapen' with reductions in meat, increases in uneeded vegetables. Then the deliveries became an issue, damaged and missing items, rancid gone off meat, who stacks canned items on top of tomatoes in boxes... Well you get the picture. Complained to Customer service and all you get offered is refunds or reductions. I want a proper service not money back. Anyways I would avoid.
