I only ordered one Gousto box and the food itself wasn't bad - I enjoyed the recipes and I had a discount so money off. For the second box, I didn't like the look of any recipes so I paused my subscription. Around a week and a half later, I get an email to say I have a box arriving - which I didn't request. I rang customer service, after waiting ages to actually get through to someone, the adviser was so rude and abrupt. No customer service skills in the slightest. She kept interpreturing me and it just wasn't a pleasant conversation.

Would leave 0/5 stars if I could. Single handedly the worst food delivery company I have ever used. Ordered food boxes on 2 separate occasions - on both occasions the box did not arrive! Each time, I had to REPEATEDLY waste my time explaining myself over and over and over again to various different customer service team members before eventually receiving a refund. Stick to Hello fresh - you will be much better off! Hello fresh use DPD and they NEVER disappoint. Gousto use Evri / Hermes - says it all really.

My last 3 boxes have not been delivered. The only comment was change your delivery day you might get a better delivery man

After ordering for 5 weeks missed the slot to add my meals for one week. So go sent their choice. Got sent two meals which were soups!!! I love with three males… soup to them is not a meal!!! When we used to order with hello fresh it was always a good experience to have their choice of meals, to try something you probably wouldn’t have chosen yourself. I feel with Gousto they have sent the meals nobody wants!!! To top it all… they make it virtually impossible to speak to email anyone to complain!!!

I have had food from Gusto for a few years and nevr had a problem BUT I was recentley sent an offer of 60% off my next order if I reactivated my subscription. I did this and placed an order for 19th September. On 11th September I received a text from the delivery company to say my order was being delivered the next day! This box contained 4 meals, none of which I would have chosen. I was charged full price for this box. I contacted Gusto by their chat line and email and have not had an apology, never mind a discount. No one seems to know what is going on, they kept telling me I couldn't have a discount as I was already a customer, the offered me 30% off my next box. There won't be a next box!

Been using gousto for a while & all was ok However last weeks offer & this weeks have not turned up Apparently not loaded in time for courier to collect First time I got refunded quickly Today I had to make a real Fuss before getting refund & they just done seem bothered Will not use again Bad customer service

What a joke, I swapped from Hello Fresh 3 weeks ago after using hello fresh for 2 years and not once have I have a complete week with ingredients! Substitutes every week and this week was pork, hardly a rare item to find. Would not recommend will be leaving and returning to hello fresh which actually tastes better and deliver meals you order and not swapping key Ingredients for ransom items.

Three weeks ago, YODEL delivered my box - it wasnt what I ordered. A 35 minute phone call to customer service at GOUSTO resulted in the order being placed for a second time and delivery promised by YODEL between 4pm and 6pm on 31st August. It didnt arrive. YODEL'S app claimed that there were issues with my address (the precise address they delivered to 3 weeks ago). Why didnt they telelphone me (my number is available to them). Is this Yodel's excuse for failed deliveries? I am alarmed to be informed that their vans are not refrigerated either. I AM FURIOUS AND WOULD ADVISE YOU TO TREAD CAREFULLY IF YOU'RE RELYING ON GOUSTO.

My food was delivered late in a unchilled van when the weather was 34 degrees. It had been in the van 11 hours. I cancelled it and had a 45 minute debate with a Gousto rep who initially refused to refund the box. I asked for my case to be escalated to management and they didn’t do so. I ultimately cancelled my contract after 2 years! Very disappointed

The ingredients go out of date too quickly. Get my delivery Tuesday get 5 meals expect it to get to Sunday at least. The meals are out of date by Friday. Even trying to use the meals in order of expiry which means you have to track through them and check each ingredients expiry. They are all going off 3 days later no where near lasting the week. The meat, the veg - its all vinegar by day 5. Gousto and Hello Fresh are expensive - it'd be worth it if they actually had fresh ingredients but they dont.

They do not tell you that items in your basket thst you have paused still get charged and delivered !! What's the pause button for.. 22.98 for 2 dinners not value for money.. Feel ripped off

I’ve had Gousto in the past & found it really good but after subscribing again about 4 weeks ago I’ve had problems with every delivery. One didn’t come until 8pm at night and yet the use by dates were 2-3 days!! I order 4 meals for 4 people so unless I was gonna cook 2 meals per day we’d have been eating out of date found. Customer service rep kept insisting everything would be fine to eat even though it had been in transit more than 24 hour. The following day quite a few of the vegetables were spoiled & unfit to eat. I put everything in an email with pictures attached and am still waiting for a reply over a week later. I’ve since cancelled my subscription ☹️

First box dumped on the other side of town. Second box ran 2 days late at which point we cancelled our delivery only for it to be marked as "delivered" god knows where. Still waiting on a refund and won't be using again.

Wow! Wow! Never tried this fresh ingredient business online before but Gousto was amazing. Quality ingredients and spices. Fresh food made easy. No more food wastage in our household which was dreadful. Enjoyed every meal so far, much better than good restaurants that we usually pay £100 for two with wine. Healthy and can count the calories too! Will definately be back. Well done Gousto, worth every penny. From leicestershire

You cancelled my box because you are no good at supply and demand and you are working beyond your means. You get all this free advertising from us that sign up and share our link then to send out the peoples who’s paid for their boxes and then you don’t have the ingredients for the free boxes. That was actually our life line this weekend and now we don’t know what to do. Customer services are a joke too. I’ve left this bad review, I’ve posted onto my food page of over 15k members and I’ve cancelled my subscription as well as the 12 friends I invited and who signed up.

I ordered my first box it has not shown up. I have the confirmation email and when I asked customer service he said the system cancelled the order and then he disappeared. Not bothering now. He didn’t even bother to try and ask if they could have it delivered

Utterly ridiculous. Signed up to the subscription. Then was charged £25 for a box of food I hadn’t ordered. Was told that because I had subscribed they would send me a box of food even if I hadn’t ordered it full of food I may or may not like. Cancelled the subscription as it’s a disgusting waste of food sending out boxes to people full of food they don’t want or can’t eat.

Deliveries don't arrive on day you've booked. Box not left in a secure place, as requested. It was left in front of our shop on the main road instead of at the rear of the property in our garden. Ingredients often missing and if you need to contact Yodel, they're very abrupt and almost rude
