Best price I could find, easy to order and make purchase, kept up dated about my order and a prompt delivery.
I ordered a bottle of shampoo, and the price was so good I later ordered a second one. This was Nov 24th and 27th of 2019. On Dec 2nd 2019 I asked them if they had an update cause we wanted one for a Christmas give. On 3rd Dec an email apologizing say there was a back log, but if we are happy to wait we should have them in a couple day or we could cancel and get a refund. We were happy to way a few more days. On 17th Dec, we said we would have to get a refund on both orders if we wouldn't get them before Christmas. On the 19th Dec we asked them again to refund both orders, and again on 6th Jan, 15th Jan and 25th Jan then asking either for a refund or the product, as they are still selling it on their site. As of the 27th of Jan 2020, no reply or refund or status of any kind. Its £43 they owe. I feel sorry of those who are owed more. Not so Cheery, Tonia

Ordered on 29th November had not received by 13th January. Asked for refund on 13th January, now 27th January no refund. Email acknowledgement and response in good time but absolutely no action taken on either request.

Sorry but not a great place to shop if you want something on time. Ordered back on November 6th now jan 20th !!! I did email 4times each getting the same response of sorry for the delay. I was patient and kept waiting but I have now cancelled my order as I think I was not ever going to get what I ordered. It’s a shame .

Ordered a product on 28/11/2019 for a Christmas present, still have not received it today 26/01/2020. Have now been advised that I need to wait a further 28 days before the product is considered missing despite the fact the company have had my money since I ordered the product. Disgusting service. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE.

Yet another completely abysmal review-a business who promise much but delivers nothing. Despite so many promises on delivery/refund nothing happens. Have had to put the rather substantial order into dispute and will never use this business again

Truly terrible experience, as with others. Ordered, waited, for fobbed off with nonsense about delays, cancelled order 5 weeks later. Still waiting for refund 4 weeks later. They shouldn’t be allowed to operate.

I would advise anyone thinking of ordering from this company NOT TO. I placed an order on 30th November, I have given up trying to get the outstanding goods and am now pursuing a refund but have not received a response to request.

Order goods before Christmas, no updates were received as promised on the order confirmation and the goods were never despatched. After several emails I was promised a refund at the beginning of January and 3 weeks later still no refund. Can't get hold of anyone on the phone and the emails are not prompt in responding. Would not be confident in ordering from this company in the future based on this experience.

Unfortunately, the two orders I placed before Christmas have still not arrived at nearly the end of January, even though I have repeatedly been told they will arrive in 'the next few days.' No tracking provided. Not sure they were ever dispatched.

I ordered an item on 6th December and still haven’t received it. I chased them and similar to other stories on here , they said there are delivery problems but I’d get it in the next few days . It’s not arrived and I can’t get them to reply to me - I’m now going to see if I can get my money back via my credit card company I’d suggest you stay away, don’t be fooled by their cheaper prices, go for a reputable company that will actually deliver your product.

A scam shop. Do not use! I placed an order which never arrived but the company took my money. It took over 9 weeks, many emails and attempted phone calls to get a refund. Many times I was promised someone would look into it but would never get a response. This looks like a common problem with gooseberry looking at other review sites. This site ( is a paid for review site which requires a company to send review requests to all customers who place an order, obviously gooseberry are just picking and choosing who to send them to to create biased reviews, so I had to request one. I have reported them to trading standards and suggest you do too if you're reading this as you've been scammed too. The worst online shopping experience I've ever had.

Gooseberry shop DO NOT USE THEM I have never ever left a negative review BUT I don't have choice this time around as I do not want anyone else to have to order anything from such a company! Gooseberry shop takes money for good that they never send out and just mess around with you! I never thought a company that have UK address can be so dodgy! I ordered some good from Gooseberry’s website on 4 October. According to the information on their website I was supposed to receive the goods I ordered within 8 working days HOWEVER instead or received the goods I paid for, I received an email saying that there were some delays and my order will be with me in a few days. So I waited a few days and NOTHING … since the first email I sent on 15 Oct we have exchanged over 30 email! Gooseberry shop had promised number of times that they will send my order and I will receive my goods by the end of the week … 6 weeks later NOTHING. The address on the website is Nottingham NG3 5QR and this is the only reason I ordered from them! I finally had to cancel my order last Friday on 15 Nov. Now almost a week later they have not refunded my money. Since 4 October I tried to phone them but they never answer the phone. I am truly baffled by all the stellar reviews on their page! These must be friends, paid reviewers or simple people who lucked out with Gooseberry. If they don't send you an email and you wish to leave a review please contact Also they have really bad rating on Please do not make the same mistake and do not ever use them! This company is obviously not fit to operate in the UK!!!

Ordered over 2 weeks ago and still have not received my Order even though the money came out of my account 2 weeks ago. When I emailed them I was told I should have been informed that there is a delay with my order, but I was not told this. I asked that it be sent ASAP but this was a week ago and I have still not received it. Not happy with this at all as I need this delivery.
