He was here for less than 10 mins, said it needed a part and charged me nearly £90. I then got a phone call to say the part was unavailable. So nearly £90 out of pocket and no freezer!

Engineer told me it would be cheaper to replace rather than fix my fridge. A phone call later that day from Glotech said they had the same fridge is stock. I arranged to have it fitted. Not only does it have one door and one inside shelf less than the old one but it is damaged. Email after email from me have been ignored. I feel extremely frustrated and do not know what to do next.

The engineer came out earlier in the year to replace a fan in our Neff oven. The oven shorted out with a bang last week. Neff have been out to fix this at a cost to us of over £200 the reason for the fault - The Glotech engineer had trapped one of the wires whilst fitting the fan causing it to short. Dangerous repair avoid

Unfortunately you were unable to repair our dishwasher so £90 wasted as far as we are concerned, but thanks anyway.

I am completely confused by the phone calls and emails I received. The job was done as my first email with you. However I was told that the credit card did not go through, The second time I was approached by you I elected to go for the dearer option of £129 as I had not been told that with the £89 I had to keep on paying every month. The second time I had an email from you to phone you as I was told that you had no idea as to why I had got in touch. Having decided to go for the dearer option I then find that the first charge of £89 has been taken from my account, which I had been told you could not take. I despair.

I had a washer-dryer that gave up. A Glotech engineer came in for 5 minutes and after having a look said I will be contacted about the next step. After not hearing back from anyone for a few days I phoned Glotech to find out that, as they can't locate the part, they won't be able to repair my appliance. In this situation, I was expecting to receive a refund of the whole or part of the £99 'repair' charge but was told that it was non-refundable. Not a business model I would trust in the future.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This is the second time I have an issue with this company, took a week to get a heat sensor for my washing machine a few months ago and today told me after 3 days they cannot come and look at my faulty fridge because they cannot get parts even though is only a couple of years old. This F/F is readily available so I do not get what there problem is. I will never use them again as they do not take the stress out of any repair and will certainly never go to them for a replacement kitchen quote. I work in a multi-million appliance industry business and would NEVER treat a customer like they have me on now two occasions. They are everything but what they say and advertise they are!

I have had a very bad experience with Glotech. I first contacted them at the end of May. Eventually after various problems, they arranged to come and repair the washing machine on Wednesday 28th June. On Monday 26th June they called to say that the part had not been ordered and that it might not arrive in time. On Tuesday I called, as I have a complicated schedule, to be told that Glotech would arrive and that the part was there. On Wednesday they called in the morning to say that the part had not arrived and could they come on Monday 3rd July between 8:00 and 1:00. This was a difficult day for me as I had various tradesmen coming at different times. However I agreed. On Monday I called to find out what time they might come. They said sometime between 11:30 and 12:00. At 12:00 I went to the empty flat where the repair was to be carried out. I had to sit on the floor as there was no furniture. I waited till 1:00 and was told that they would arrive at 1:30. At 1:30 I telephoned to be told that they would be there at 2:00. At this point I cancelled because I needed to be at home. I asked for my money back. So far I have not received the money or even an apology.

Very poor service, paid for repair in advance (unusual) - appliance not satisfactorily repaired after nearly 3 weeks of wrong part (or even no part) brought, appointments cancelled and changed by them (to our great inconvenience), emails and phone calls not promptly responded to, poor customer service. I've had to lose money and give up on them and find some else. Not sure about the 'family firm's claim either.

Paid the labour fee and technician arrived to instantly say there is nothing we can do. Made absolutely no effort and company Geotech who should now be called dimtech refuse to discuss any sort of refund. What made me even more upset was the attitude of the engineer who gleefully had to do no work but of course was paid.

I was told when the person came to repair my hob that he could not touch is as it had silicon around the edge. I was still charged £99 for the call out fee and never told in advance that they wouldn't fix a hob with silicon around the edge. I was forced to pay this as the man wouldn't leave until I'd paid. I then called to complain and the lady on the phone wouldn't refund me as they said that £99 was a labour fee and as he had driven to my property that counted as a labour fee. I am now trying to get the money back from my credit card company.

3 cancelled appointments. First one cancelled and rearranged for over a week later. Second one rearranged then bought forward 2 days but then cancelled at the end of the morning I'd spent waiting in for them (on a Saturday). Apparently the engineer went out the night before and 'wasn't feeling well' - their exact words to me. They then couldn't make the original 2nd appointment day and pushed it back a day. This third time was then also cancelled on the day. Terrible customer service as am now 2 weeks down the line without a working dishwasher. AVOID at all costs.

Unfortunately I have not had a great experience with your service. Appointment was booked for 22nd June between 8am - 1pm. I waiting for technician to arrive until 1:45pm....when still no one turned up, I called and was told my appointment has been cancelled. But no intimation was made to inform me about it. However I have now been given another appointment and I hope this time someone does arrive....or atleast inform me of any changes to my appointment.

Waited in from 8 til 2 pm which was the arrangement. He arrived at 2:25 pm. Nice young man but late very late said he had left message early morning but had sent to landline?. I had given the details of problem to company prior to visit so was surprised afte 5 mins to be told the item needed a new door at a cost of approx £285. Cost of visit £89 including vat. Clearly this could have been done by phone at a much less cost. Item now useless because to spend the above costs rather are mas much as buying new. Very disappointing!. .

Fridge not making temperature. Engineer came 5 min look and said needed new fridge. 800 £ and they would contact mon.day for a replacement To me looked like thermostat so bought one for 30 £ and asked for a new engineer who fitted it and fridge now works fine .. 2nd engineer very helpful. First useless !

No repair of wine cooler - told me they are rarely repairable but not told that beforehand. Charged £99 for call out for nothing. Complete waste of money.
