“I took just over a year to decide where to get my transplant done. I spoke to quite a few in the U.K. and to be honest I didn’t fancy going with any of them, especially after speaking to them in person. GetHair was recommended to me by my friend whose brother has had his hair done by them. I wouldn’t have had a clue his brother had his hair done, and that’s really what made me go with them. So I made my booking with them about 4 months ago, everything was included within the price bar the flights, so you get your transplant, taxis from start to finish, top class hotel with breakfast included. I flew out on 1st October and landed about 12am on Tuesday morning, taxi man was waiting at the Vodafone shop in the airport as arranged, took me straight to the hotel, but on the way Nasimi phoned the driver, and the call was passed to me. He told me what time I’d be picked up and that was going to be at 12.30pm. Driver dropped me off, really nice hotel and I knew everything that was going to happen. Next day, picked up at the agreed time, taken straight to the very modern hospital, up to floor 8 and I was impressed and felt very comfortable. So I met the doctor and I was informed what would happen, next they shaved my head and I put the gown on, then they injected my head and keep asking if I could feel anything, it didn’t take that long and it was totally numb, hardly any pain at all! Obviously you can’t really see what they’re doing, but they know what to do and they work as a team. You listen to music, whilst watching tv, I did drop off as I felt that calm and relaxed. Eventually they asked me to sit up, and I checked and it was just past 5.30pm. So from start to finish, the whole transplant was just over 4.5hrs. Nasimi advised how I needed to sleep etc and I was then taken back to the hotel. Had room service and it was super cheap, slept ok and didn’t feel any pain really. Next day I was picked up at 8.25am and taken back to the hospital, I was given a break down with Scott about what we needed to do, what drugs we need to take and when, shampoo, cream etc etc and a booklet to follow for the next 14 days. Before that information, my head was cleaned and reduced bandages were applied to make it easier to travel. Next I was back in the taxi, Scott was dropped off and Ali got in, we were then taken straight to the airport. I didn’t worry about a hat or trying to cover my head up, as they’re used to seeing people who have had a transplant done. They’ve been doing it in Turkey for over 20 odd years. So we flew back and I’d say a minimum of 5 people on the plane had had a hair transplant. Landed in Manchester and you’ll get a few looks but I was just glad I’d got it done. Two weeks after the opp is lets say military, but it’s there to help and assist your new hair. I told everyone in work and my friends I was getting it done, and they’ve been impressed. It’s going to be 3 weeks tomorrow that I had my opp, and I can honestly say they’ve provided me everything they initially offered and far more. Stuart is a great contact as he’ll answer any questions or queries you have very quickly! If you want your hair done, get in contact with Stuart, and they’ll be no pressure. Overall my observation of my research was the cheaper UK ones do botched transplants, they relay on minor celebrities to advertise their business aka KSL etc reviews are mainly negative and 3 of the people I met in Turkey were there to fix bad jobs in the U.K! “I started noticing significant hair loss at the frontal region of my head when I was 26/27 and so this year I decided I was going to do something about it as for me personally I was too young to be going bald :) I found Gethair online merely through a google search for "hair transplants turkey" after looking at many other websites I found gethair's to be most professional website and from the online chat feature I started my consultation with Stuart who was very helpful and straightforward. 6 weeks later I was on a plane to Istanbul. when I arrived at the airport I was a long time getting through passport check and was worried my Driver wouldn't be there waiting for me but just as described in the emails from Gethair my Driver was waiting for me at the exact location mentioned and with my name on a banner. The hotel was beautiful, 5 star rating! very reasonable room service prices + food was very nice. On the day of the operation I was picked up exactly at the time they told me. When I arrived at the Medistate hospital (3 min drive) I was asked to go to the 8th floor where I met my English Interpreter who went through some details with me and a consent form. I then met the Surgeon who marked my new hair line with a Blue marker and showed me this in a mirror. The operation itself is not painful as your head is numb with local Anathestic. the most painful part of the operation is the anesthetic needles at the back of the head as this is the most sensitive part of the head and cannot be avoided of course :). The best advice I would give is to prepare yourself mentally for the operation as you are awake. for me personally I was a little bit anxious at the start due to nerviousness but its only natural. the operation was a success and before I left the hospital I was given all medication required ( Anti Swell meds, Antibiotics, Pain killers). The next morning I was picked up again on time and brought back to the hospital for Post OP care. the nurse was gentle washing the donor area and transplanted area. I was giving anti hair loss shampoo and Lotion to wash my hair with for the next 14 days. The Interpreter explained exactly when I should start washing my hair/ how to wash and what NOT to do for the next few months in order to maximize my hair repair/growth All in all I would say I had a very good experience with Get Hair so far. ( 1 week since my operation) . I will be posting pictures of my new transplanted area progress after 14 days, 3 months, 6 months and 12 months so it feels like Gethair is not just concerned with the Operation itself beforehand but the progress of my hair transplant which is very reassuring :)”

“My name is Chris and I am from Ireland. My hair loss was always an issue for me but got more serious in the last few years. It was like a secret I didn’t want anyone to know for fear they would laugh at me or not take me seriously. My hair loss was not only a sign of aging but also a major problem when it came to hair style. I hated haircuts because it was all about concealing the high forehead area. The whole thing was stressful and I was never happy with the result. If too short I had a high forehead and I hated that look. I could see my whole face change and I didn’t like it because I could never get the hair style I wanted. As time went on I glanced at information online on hair loss products which were very very expensive and the thoughts of using them for the rest of my life put me off. There was so much mixed information on the web it was confusing. I got the impression the positive results from these products alone was just clever marketing to exaggerate results and sell hair products. Of course I looked at hair transplants but they were way too expensive for me so I ruled it out. Then one day I came across a report about a journalist in the UK who got a transplant in Turkey with Dr. Tayfun. He put his story in the paper which showed the clinic was reputable and could be trusted as they were open enough to do a public story on it so I felt it was a safe and reputable hospital and team. The internet is full of horror stories about surgeries abroad that went wrong so at the back of my mind I was scared of this happening. The main turning point for me was the price. When I contacted ‘gethair’ all I had to do was send pictures online and get an estimate. When it came back a day later I was so happy to see that the price was realistically within my grasp. This was the last obstacle to getting the hair transplant. The first step was contacting Sturat and Samar at gethair and they were always at hand to answer any question. The easiest part was the consultation. All I had to do was take a few photos and email them to the doctor who determined the level of procedure I needed. I got a return mail with the estimated price and was amazed it was so affordable. The price was important because I am an ordinary person without a big salary. The affordable price meant this procedure was put within my reach and I could finally get my hair loss addressed. Most of us want to keep our hair and don’t want to lose it. Some just accept hair loss regardless of the blow to self-esteem but because it was so affordable I knew I didn’t have to accept it. Dr. Tayfun and his team gave me an affordable solution. The whole process worked without compromising my health or safety or budget. Once a deposit was paid I decided on a suitable date and headed off to Istanbul for few days. The best thing was nobody knew except my partner who came with me. I was met by a great driver at the airport who brought me to the hotel to settle in. It was very comfortable and served us food in our room when we wanted it. The cost was amazing it was so low. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Next day the driver was waiting in the lobby and we headed off to the clinic to meet the doctor to begin the procedure. From the start all the information was upfront clear and understandable. It was a top class hospital in a lovely scenic district. The procedure itself is painless and the nurses were great and always checked if I was ok and comfortable. It was a very fast procedure with no pain. It was a strange sensation but the time passed easily. After the procedure I was bandaged on the donor area and driven back to the hotel to rest. The next day I went back to the clinic for a hair wash to clean the area and remove the bandage. Then medication and instructions were given and it was done. It was simple to follow the doctor’s advice and back home it was easy to wash and apply the lotion while healing. The best part is how discreet the whole thing was. Even going through the airport the lady at the desk understood I was slow to remove my hat for security when I told her I got a procedure. She smiled and said it was ok and that was it. I did not want people seeing me even though it was not that noticeable. It was just that I was self-conscious and thankfully I didn’t have to take my cap off anywhere. It’s been two weeks since I had to procedure and all is well. I know It will take time for my own hair to grow back but I am much more relaxed now because I am not losing my hair but instead looking forward to it growing. That feeling alone is priceless to me because my hair loss was more of an issue than I realised. In truth my self-esteem was very low and I never realised how seriously it affected my confidence. Now I feel much more positive about the future thanks to this whole experience. From the moment I contacted Stuart at ‘Gethair’ it was plain sailing with no unpleasant hidden surprises. The price was a major factor in deciding to go ahead being within reach of ordinary guys like myself. I can honestly say it’s been the best move I ever made. I’m so happy I contacted ‘gethair’ and Dr. Tayfun. We all hear stories about things that go wrong but this certainly not one of them. In fact it’s a great news story and I for one am delighted I got the procedure because I can face the future with a lot more confidence now. ‘Gethair’ did all the work for me with no hastle all along the way. I had nothing to worry about and even my partner came along and we had a great trip of a lifetime by staying an extra day and saw amazing sights in Istanbul. “I spent many weeks researching suitable hair transplant organisation in Turkey. I read reviews, watched online video blogs and looked at the profiles of the surgeons in detail. After all of my research it was obvious that Dr Tayfun had an exceptional reputation and has been a key figure in hair transplant procedures in Turkey for sometime whilst remaining at the forefront of the industry. I decided to contact Get Hair in the UK to find out more and the professionalism of Stuart who dealt with my enquiry was excellent. He came back to me very quickly with a written synopses from Dr Tayfun relating to photos of my hair that I had provided outlining what he felt was needed, how suitable I was as a candidate for hair transplantation and also a price. Whilst the cost with Get Hair was slightly more expensive than others there seemed to be much more emphasis on quality and experience of the team and additionally they guaranteed a 5 star hotel and a driver for my time in Turkey. When the day finally arrived to travel to Trukey I flew into Istanbul and despite a one hour flight delay, the driver was waiting for me in arrivals and I was driven to the hotel in just over 20 minutes. The hotel was superb with an excellent room service menu and a fantastic breakfast for the day and day after surgery. The staff at the hotel also seemed very in tune with hair transplant patients and provided me with extra water and towels. The morning of the surgery arrived and my driver drove me to the hospital which was literally two minutes from the hotel. When I arrived I was amazed by the standard of the hospital. It was immaculate, modern and friendly. I was greeted by an English speaking member of staff who was on hand throughout the day to tell me what each stage of the operation was about to begin and how it would be done. He prepared me for the operation, gave me my medication and introduced me to Dr.Tayfun who then discussed my hair line with me personally. Dr Tayfun had a real aura about him. He was calm, very reassuring and very professional. The procedure itself was better than I could have hoped. The opening of channels was conducted by Dr Tayfun and he played Coldplay Greatest Hits for me all the way through to keep me calm and relaxed. The local anaesthetic was injected in my head in various places and this was actually not as uncomfortable as I thought it would be. Once the channels were opened the grafts were extracted and we then moved into the finals stage where the grafts would be inserted. This was painless for the most part and was done in just over an hour and a half. Overall the operation took 4 hours and it flew by! I was taken through to the waiting room where I was given juice, a sandwich and some pain killers. I was back at the hotel sitting on the bed watching the TV in no time and my driver saw me all the way to my room to ensure I was OK. I couldn't have felt more looked after. 2 weeks on I am now healed up and ready to see my new hair through in a few months time! I would highly recommend Get Hair and Dr Tayfun. A superb experience. “At the age of 25, it's quite a daunting feat deciding whether or not to undergo a hair transplant. As someone that had been receding from unfortunate age of 18, it's something that of course plays on your mind a lot. I've casually researched the idea of surgery, but never in great detail as the costs in London are extortionate. Recently I was told about people who go abroad to have such procedures, but dismissed it almost instantly as it seemed 'dodgy' and the only thing (hair related) worse than balding, would be to have a bodged transplant that looked awful. I was forced by stress to take time away from teaching after a terrible start to the year and needed to find a way to help boost my self-confidence and self-esteem, so started looking in more detail at the idea of having the procedure done abroad. I found an article on the BBC and subsequent YouTube videos talking about GetHair and read through a number of incredibly positive reviews. I felt it was important to book a consultation in person so I could see how professional the business actually was. After visiting the office in Angel and meeting consultants, especially Stuart, it was an easy decision to move forward with the surgery. From first contact with Stuart to leaving the hospital under Gabina's guidance, the customer service team have been completely faultless. Not only are they incredibly quick with their responses, but were very helpful in offering further advice (such as staying in a more central based hotel for those wanting to be a tourist for a week). I received a fully detailed report within 24 hours of the consultation from Dr Tayfun too, which also impressed me. To support this, the transfers provided can't be faulted either. It was arranged for me to be picked up from my centrally located hotel and brought to the one provided as I was already in Istanbul, and instead of dropping me off at the airport, I was taken back into the city to enjoy some more tourist spots the day following the surgery as my flight was a late one. Although the driver spoke little English (yet far more Turkish than I spoke), he was very friendly and would point out certain spots to appreciate! The hotel is completely top notch. If I'm being honest, I felt somewhat out of place! The service was brilliant, the staff were very helpful and spoke good English and breakfast was fantastic. It was everything you'd expect from a hotel with a grand piano in the lobby. I guess my only gripe would be that the spa area closed at 10pm, which gives little time to use after a day of sightseeing and that the pool was a little on the small side for those who enjoy having a swim to unwind. Of course, this is irrelevant after the surgery as you won't be using it! Finally, and most importantly, the surgery itself was very smooth. The team were incredibly professional and someone who spoke good English was there between each of the stages to ensure you know exactly what is happening. The surgical team were very friendly and bubbly. Although they didn't speak and awful lot of English, they created a very relaxing atmosphere and made sure to check constantly that there was no pain. The four hours or so shot by and I'm pretty sure I managed to doze off at one point as the procedure is completely painless (minus the aneasthesia). The only slight criticism I could offer is that the start of the whole procedure was incredibly quick. By this I mean the time where Dr Tayfun drew up the new hairline. There wasn't any sort of discussion regarding this part, which I feel is quite important. That all being said, he's the expert in the field and you have to trust his experience and judgment! Of course it's far too early to see the full effect, but so far the recovery has gone swimmingly. I'm now at day 8 and the last of my scabs came out during today's wash. By following the guidelines given for aftercare, I see no reason why any problems should arise! I would 100% recommend GetHair to anyone looking to have their hair transplant. Not only are the prices (compared to the UK) incredibly reasonable, but the service itself was completely faultless. Plus if you're in an un/fortunate enough position to build in a holiday, it doesn't get much more beautiful and impressive than Istanbul.”

“Get Hair did a phenomenal job! They book your hotel, schedule the surgery, arrange transportation, and take care of all minor details. You only have to book your flight! Stuart was extremely helpful and answered all my questions. He even called me in the US based on my schedule. He went above and beyond by suggesting another area to stay in Turkey since I did several days of sightseeing before the surgery (highly recommended). Get Hair was just as thoughtful after the surgery ensuring after care procedures were being done. They even check up on you every few months and ask for pictures to ensure the process is going smoothly. The surgery itself went great. I received 3300 grafts in about 5 hours. The anesthetic injections are a little uncomfortable but afterwards the procedure is painless. Galina and Nasimi truly made me feel at home. It was if I was in the US and had never left. The first few nights are hard to sleep as you can’t sleep on your sides or stomach. You also have to spray adenosine triphosphate on the transplanted areas every couple hours the first few days which helps the implantation to heal. Then after a 2 week shampooing regimen, your schedule returns to normal. Hair falls out 2-4 weeks post surgery, then grows at 3-4 months and continues to grow up to a year or more. The hotel is wonderful and has delicious food. Rooms are spacious and every amentity I thought of is available. Get Hair is like going to an all inclusive resort for hair. Worth every penny! Tips: Be careful to not bump your head, especially in a car and be careful if you are tall. Wear comfortable clothes for a few days after surgery including button up shirts for easier removal of clothes. Keep your face and scalp moisturized before the surgery. It makes implantation much easier. Drink plenty of water throughout. Stay at a different hotel in the tourism district before the surgery for a few days to enjoy what the country has to offer. Make sure you buy some Turkish delight! I would be also happy to receive phone calls from prospective clients to share my one on one experience.”

“Get Hair made a big decision simple. The very idea of going abroad for a cosmetic surgery seems scary to so many, myself included. However, I took the chance as I was very happy with the customer service, the credentials of the surgeon and his team and the clear answers to all my questions and I am very happy I did. Get Hair, Dr Tayfun and the team in Istanbul I felt were extremely professional and made the day seem as easy as going for a hair cut rather than a hair transplant! I could not be happier with the whole process and my aftercare to date. I am currently day 7 post op and have experienced no pain or discomfort other than an awkward first night sleep after the procedure. I recommend to anyone interested in Hair Transplant's to go with Get Hair and you will not be disappointed. Its always going to be a scary decision who ever you decide to go with but these guys take care of everything so there really is no need for it to be. Why did I not do it sooner?”

“Obviously going to different country to do a procedure is not an easy decision . Obviously I researched looking at reviews looking at different clinics But obviously its quite confusing and daunting task . I decided to go with Get Hair after speaking with Stuart in the UK office . He was very professional with his advice and prompt reply to my questions. I also felt assuranced that there was the London office to deal with any problems that may arise. When I arrived in Istanbul and met Melham the coordinator and Dr Ilker I knew that I was in safe hands . Also Dr Ilkers technicians where also amazing . Procedure went smoothly though there is some pain Initially until the anaesthetic kicks in . Everything is provided as to instructions to after-care and transfers from the clinic to the hotel to the airport . The first three days post operation are difficult . By the seventh day everything settles down and you can start to see results. Definitely recommend Get Hair to anyone who is looking at a hair transplant”

“After a few months of reading forum posts and independent reviews for hair transplants, I decided on having the procedure with Dr Tayfun and GetHair. I made an enquiry on the website and Stuart in the London office got back to me pretty quickly. He asked that I take some photos so that Dr T could give a detailed analysis of my needs and my options. Following this, I decided to proceed with the procedure in January. As Stuart advised, my driver was waiting at the Vodafone Kiosk in the airport, waiting to drive me to the hotel. The drive took about 30 minutes and he waited until I got checked in successfully. I received a call from the clinic that night to make sure that I had arrived and to advise me on what time the driver would arrive in the morning. The drive to the clinic was only a couple of minutes from the hotel, and the driver walked in with me and made sure I got where I needed to be. From then on, the process was very seamless and quick. Dr T asked about my expectations and, as soon as we agreed, my hair was shaved. I was then taken straight to the next room to begin the procedure. My interpreter, Galina, was always close by and able to talk me through each step. I had read online that the injections for the local anaesthetic were painful but it honestly wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. After about a minute I didn't really feel anything. My procedure took just over three hours, so it was pretty quick, and I actually fell asleep near the end. It just reinforces how relaxed I felt in the staff's capable and friendly hands. After we finished, I was given pain relief for later in the evening. I did have a little pain later in the afternoon so I took the pain relief a little early, and by morning I didn't feel a thing. I was a little self conscious getting breakfast in the hotel the next morning but there were other hair transplant patients so it helped me relax. The driver brought me back to the clinic, where I was given instructions and medication to take for the following weeks. I had seen some pretty bad pictures online but I got pretty lucky in that my face didn't get swollen at all. I brought a travel pillow for the plane journey back and slept on it for the first few nights to keep my neck elevated. It wasn't the most comfortable to sleep in but no pain no gain! It has been just over 10 weeks since the procedure and I already notice the difference. New hairs started growing a couple of weeks ago and it has been very exciting to check on progress each day. I am so pleased that I decided on GetHair and it is still early days yet but I already feel more confident and for that I will always be thankful.”

“Having decided to get the procedure in turkey I was clueless about how to go about it, I was reassured after my first email to Stuart (he's the Get Hair man in London ) he responds super quickly to the questions you've asked plus the ones you should have !! Very knowledgeable and well drilled in giving the info you need to take the plunge, pay the deposit and book the flights . The whole process is smooth from first contact to me now 2 weeks completed . I'm 42 with a very rapidly receding hair line with what looked like an island forming at the front of my head. This needed sorting . I'm quite self conscious so needed/ wanted to boost my confidence. After researching, well watching YouTube videos I told myself that I'd just do it . Yeah I might get ribbed by mates for a while but by Xmas ( now Feb) im sure they'll be booking up after seeing the results. The whole team from taxi driver to nurses who drill your head are top notch . Time will tell but I'm positive so far . Cheers”

“The whole experience was really easy and straight forward. I emailed 5 photos of my head/hair and then received an in depth email with a quote of what Dr Tayfun Oguzoglu recommends. I had a 3800 graft over my full head including the front, top and crown area transplanted. The team at Get Hair were really excellent. They made me feel at ease straight away. A member of staff talked through every stage of the procedure which was interesting and very reassuring. On the day of the procedure I met Dr Tayfun for an initial consultation and he did the 1st stage of the procedure where he cut the channels on my head where the new hairs will be inserted. The Nurses did the following stages where they extracted the grafts from my donor area (back and rear of my head) and inserted them into the transplant area. The whole procedure was pain free and took 4 and a half hours. There was mild discomfort on a couple of occasions but nothing that was too stressful. Nasimi was really helpful and spoke to me after the procedure on exactly what I should and shouldn't do to look after my new transplanted hair. He was very clear and very knowledgeable. This was very reassuring and helped to make sure I was looking after my new transplant. The following day I went back to the hospital to have the dressing changed. There were other patients there too. It was good to meet others who had been through the same experience and compare transplants. Nasimi spoke about what we should do over the next month from taking the medication for one week, through to washing the new transplant to help recovery. It is now 10 days after the procedure and everything is all going well. I would like to thank Dr Tayfun Oguzoglu and his whole team for looking after me so well. The whole experience from start to finish was very professional.”

“I had doubts initially when deciding on a wether to have a hair transplant, I would say that was natural but now I've had it done I'm very happy I did. It's a big decision but with Gethair it doesn't have to be a big ordeal. In my experience I can only describe the experience as seamless, painless and professional. Seamless in the sense of the smooth and professional nature of the transfers and accommodation. Painless in the fact Dr.T is a genuine good guy and gets it and is professional, like his staff, in delivering an exceptional service. “After researching Fue for the last couple of years I decided to go abroad due to the cost and the saving compared to the uk for the exact same proceedure. I felt confident in gethair simply down to Dr Tafun’s years of experience. As a hairdresser I have a understanding Of hair and a realistic expectation of the likely result. I took the time and went to London for a consultation this added reassurance and Kaan the coordinator was amazing throughout. Due to work commitments I had to wait months and simply couldn’t wait for it. I booked to go alone but I did decide to take someone with me that reassured worrying family and friends but to be honest in completely safe we’ll organised hands. There was a driver who was waiting for me in the arrivals area greeted me and showed me to the car after a 30 minute drive we arrived at the hotel it was clean comfortable and very welcoming. I got a good nights sleep and got picked up 8.45am the next morning just a 5 minute drive away I arrived at the hospital it’s state of the art surroundings amazing clean I was so shocked I didn’t expect this. There was a coordinator who translated he explained the whole process I signed my forms and they got started it was a long day and yes I was nervous they took blood pressure, bloods and started to numb my head. I expected the injections to be painful due to what I had read on the internet but to be honest after a couple your head goes numb so you can’t feel the rest. It was a very long day just laid there just over 7 hours but I was well looked after. I was bandaged up and driver back to my hotel after some helpful hints & tips from the coordinator. My nights sleep was very broken I was more scared of creating more damage got up the next morning there was little blood on my bandages. I returned to the hospital for post op they washed and cleaned my head which wasn’t painful at all. I was then taken back to my hotel the next morning the driver came to take us back to the airport. I was surprised to see 5 more men on my flight who had the same proceedure done. I have not had any pain I have done everything by the book. Sleeping is a bit uncomfortable first few days but now I’m washing it each day my scalp is felling better. Would I do it again? Yes Would I recommend gethair? Of course The team are amazing pre and post advice I am amazed by the results so far I cannot wait for the coming months. I would like to say thank you to the gethair team for the confidence you have given in such a short time frame already.”

“My research included looking up testimonials from other patients who had used GetHair and all were positive. Fortunately for me, another patient had documented his own journey with GetHair on YouTube, which made my research a lot easier. The most effective research I undertook was meeting Kaan in the GetHair London office for a face-to-face consultation. This discussion put my fears at ease and made the whole process clear. The email support I have received both pre and post op has been fantastic also. My experience of flying out to Turkey, being picked up from the airport and taken to and from the clinic from my hotel, can be best described in two words - efficient and transparent. Everything is made clear to you and the support from the patient coordinator on site is fantastic throughout. I was surprised by how quickly and effectively the team worked and how soon the operation was over. I was even more surprised by how quickly the worst of the pain disappeared also (less than 24 hours). The hotel was fantastic, 4 stars with a huge breakfast selection and being able to meet other patients from the UK, staying at the same hotel, was also a real confidence boost. The Technicians showed genuine concern for my well being throughout as did the patient coordinator. I chose GetHair because of their reputation, their non-pushy approach, I never felt forced or like I was being sold something. I also chose them because of their price, package and aftercare support.”

“You are probably reading all the GetHair reviews and debating whether you should go abroad to carry out your procedure?? I can put your mind at ease and tell you that you have nothing to worry about. Not only will you save thousands of pounds (compared to the UK), but for the team and surgeon that you will be dealing with, you will not find more experienced hands. Carrying out FUE for this surgeon, is like a dentist making a filling (read up on him). He has done thousands and probably a lot more than the UK company you are thinking of dealing with. From the first instance, the professionalism and level of contact (I spoke a lot to the team prior to booking) from GetHair has been faultless! After booking, I decided to travel on my own and stay 1 extra night than the 2 required in the hotel they provide to make sure I had proper rest after the operation. It wasn't really necessary, I could have travelled home the next day. However, the rates they offered for the extra night were very cheap - with excellent 24hr room service and very reasonable prices compared to what we are used to in the UK! On arrival my flight was delayed, so I didn't expect my driver to be there - he was! He had waited over 2 hours for me.. Very nice guy. He also picked me up the next day to take me to the hospital - which is only 5 minutes from your hotel. Prior to the operation I discussed my hairline with the surgeon and agreed on what I was happy with. I had 2200 grafts and the op only took about 3 and half hours finished off with a meal. I was then driven back to the hotel with the necessary medications and a bandage around the donor area. The next day I was picked back up to take off the bandages and receive a hair wash. You will also be given instructions on how to care for your hair the next 14 days and also what to expect. Throughout the whole process and operation I was speaking to Nasimi who will translate any language barriers. Very good/helpful/knowledgeable guy, who also called me as soon as I was in the car on my way to the hotel in Istanbul to explain when I would be picked up for the operation as well as do's and dont's the night before. I stayed an extra day in the hotel for some rest, ordered room service and watched films on my laptop and a hard drive that I plugged into the hotel television. The final day I was picked back up by the same driver and taken to the airport. You are chauffeured door to door without any hassles. In summary, if you are in any doubts about using this company, don't be! They will look after you every step of the way and you will be dealing with a company that do this at least twice a day, every day, so you can't be in safer hands. As soon as you have it done, you will be able to see what your hairline will look like and then just wait those few months for it all to take shape - but you won't regret a thing and straight away you will stop worrying about the receding hairline!! I 100% recommend!”

“I travelled on my own which was bit daunting but really wasn’t an issue now I look back. When I arrived in Istanbul, after a delay in going through passport control the driver was still there waiting for me (thank you!) and took me to lovely hotel. I was picked up next morning by the same friendly driver and taken to the very clean and modern hospital for my HT. The staff were lovely, very kind and accommodating. I found the injections did hurt, but after that I didn’t feel a thing. Nasimi the interpreter was great and answered any questions I had. Dr T marked the head and opened the channels for the donor hair to go in, then, a team of nurses did everything else. I arrived on a Thursday and on the Saturday the driver took me to the hospital for to get my scalp cleaned and to pick up shampoos and medication, then to airport and home. This was 10 days ago and the scabs and crusting are slowly going. I’m following the clear instructions I received and hopefully in a few months’ time I will start to see the results I want. Kaan , the UK representative will answer any question you have, he is a crucial link in this process and is always at hand to help and answer any questions. So far I’m pleased with how it’s gone and can’t wait to see my new hair grow. I plan to write another review in 4 – 6 months’ time once my new hair starts growing. Get Hair give you piece of mind and make what seems like a hard thing to do and go through, easy. Thank you.”
