I was speaking with one of the customer service, I barely understood that I can do my request online after long conversation. My enquire hasn’t been resolved yet. I have one enquire and 2 policy changes to be made. Non of that has been solved, but I can do and search anything on the website.

So I bought monthly car insurance 2 days ago before checking out the reviews for these guys (stupid I know) and found that everyone was saying avoid avoid avoid. I decided I was gonna cancel and go elsewhere, which I didn’t think would cost anything as I had a 14 day cooling off period and I’d only been insured for 1.5 full days - wrong. Nearly £80 to cancel, I didn’t kick up a fuss, just wanted out of it before receiving ridiculous charges from the black box for doing nothing wrong while driving, they just took It off my initial instalment, meaning I pad £278 initially to set up the insurance and I’m only receiving £197 back. I recommend going with direct line, same fully comprehensive black box insurance, with £180 initial instalment (£100 less than here!) and only £129 a month there after (making it £30 a month cheaper than these guys, no brainier)

Not too great! Pay £150 but dont use blackbox fitted ! The Engineered placed the blackbox in my car and my radio never worked again. I never complained about it but just decided that i wouldn't renew at the end of the contract.

I went with this insurer due to the low price it offered. It’s mainly all online which I thought would be ideal. They judge your driving which is what a black box is for so no surprises there. However the access online is really poor. It states on mine that everything is perfect apart from acceleration - I could be biased but I don’t understand why it thinks it’s so poor and puts me at a 0 every time even when I pull away really slowly. There’s supposed to be a ‘tips on how to be a good driver’ but for the past several months this link has never worked, I’ve never been able to see what their recommendations are to improve my score. So basically if you have any deductions you won’t be given any guidance on why or how to fix it. I also tried to change the mileage of my car since it’s just sat going nowhere now and it just says there’s an error when you go to change it. It’s just generally a really poor website & experience online and I’ve been with Admiral who are super expensive which is why I changed providers but even their website was 10 times better than wisedriving. For an insurer that’s heavily online based I would expect much more. Just leaves me guessing on why my acceleration is soooo bad. Just seems out of proportion and they could say anything was bad and not have to prove why to you and just increase your premiums.

I forgot to send proof of my NCD and they added £100 a month to my policy, when I sent it they only to £70 off it so I’m paying £30 more than I was. Not great.

Hi George, When generating a quote you are provided with the information on what documents we require. Once you take up your policy, a new business email welcoming you to WiseDriving is sent, within this email, it confirms what documentation is outstanding. We provide a total of 28 days for you to provide us with these documents. We send out reminders within 14 days, 21 days and on the 28th day if your documentation is still not received, your NCB will be reduced and an Admin fee Charged. "Please note, if we don't receive your no-claims discount proof, we'll have to remove the no-claims discount from your policy. This may lead to your policy being cancelled or additional charges being made, so it's important to get it to us as soon as you can. If we have to remove the no-claims discount from your policy, we won't be able to reapply any no-claims discount protection if you subsequently provide proof. " As the documentation was not received in time, your NCB was reduced, you then provided your NCB and this was added back on. Yours Sincerely, Jamie

I left Wisedriving because after 3 years of no claim, my premier kept increasing ridiculously and the latest quote was joke really. Why are you still keeping me on telematics insurance after 3 yrs of no claim and good driving results?

I've been with wise driving for 2 years now and when they say if your driving good then you will see the benefits. I have never sped or broke suddenly yet I'm still waiting. The day I am able to get rid of my black box and wise driving the better . Absolutely terrible

The company were so unhelpful in relation to my claim. I recieved no outcome unti l kept chasing them up. Also, they provided me with false information and failed to listen to what I said.

While having a telematics black box on the car, the data they give you on your portal regarding your driving score compared to what actual driving you're doing is bs and does not make sense most of the time. Driving at 55-56mph in a 50 limit gave me a score of 24% while driving quite a bit more than 70 in a 70 limit gave me a score of 40%. Their customer service operators don't have a clue to why this happens. So unless you are really really tight on money, don't buy a policy where you yourself! have to install the black box. It's not difficult to do that but I would not recommend a black box car insurance policy.

change of car was made and was charged extra within a month because of the driving score. when if you start a new policy you get 3 months to get used to the car. was also not informed of the breakdown when having to make a extra payment to change the car.

5 years no claims....with wisedriving 120.00 a month?? Fidelity doesn't mean anything for them.. Now am with a different insurance thnx.
