Shocking customer service. Unresponsive to emails, livechat personnel are rude, unprofessional and dismissive, inaccurate details recorded for a claim, has been 3 months since claim and I am still in limbo. I started the complaints process today - they offered me £10 to avoid a formal complaint, upped it to £15, then told me if I proceeded with a formal complaint it would delay the conclusion of my claim and may make renewing more expensive. Unbelievable.

Had a lovely relationship for years. Then it went wrong. A car drove into mine which was parked and unattended. All was well. Then, Sheilas Wheels recorded a Category N against the car. I did what they asked, made good the grill and damaged wing. Put the car through MOT (now has had 3 MOT without failure). Why did they do this. The nasty horrid people. They lied about the origin of the status. They lied again and again. Esure the parent company then started to lie. Strange. If I misquote or wrote a possible mistruth I could be prosecuted. But, being an insurance company they can lie through there teeth and get away with it - there lies are not criminal so I am told. They are just lies. Best I can say is KEEP AWAY, not safe and could be very bad for your health. Would not advise any sort of cover with Sheilas Wheels. Further, it is near impossible to get through to them. Always claim they are too busy. We have heard this before, lies after lies, they employ too few people to save money

I have been with Sheilas' Wheel home insurance for several years and until this week have never needed them. Following a shower leak, I contacted the Home Emergency cover which I pay extra for. I had to pay £25 for the visit, which was prompt. The plumber who visited was courteous and professional but quickly told me that there was nothing that he could do without taking tiles off the wall and it would be better if this went back to Sheila's Wheels. I was advised he would report this back to the Sheilas' Wheels so they could a thermal image check before any work was done. He took photos for the insurance company, said he would update Sheilas' Wheels but that if I didn't hear from them after a couple of days I should phone for an update. I didn't hear from them so, after spending ages finding a number, I got hold of someone. They had no record of anything, told me I needed to sort this myself, if I wanted to claim through them there would be a £500 excess charge and that I would be better off trying to sort it myself and get back to them if I did decide to claim through them. I'm now £25 out of pocket, can't use my shower and am paying for insurance that does nothing. I'll be leaving Sheilas' Wheels. They maybe cheaper but provide no service whatsoever.

Call handler Lynsey was aggressive and the most unprofessional call handler I have EVER come across!!! Don’t use this company and if you get a LYNSEY on the phone please ask for a different advisor. She treats you like a criminal !

It was so difficult to speak to a human being after the online link didn't work. I had to phone several times and use different combinations of responses to press 1 > 2 etc. Even when I got in a queue, it was a 1/2 hour wait. The person from another country who answered was rude when I asked why my premium increased so much. The increase in my premium was 61% up from last year! I have used them for years but won't ever again.

Shocking customer service, 6 weeks now and my car still hasnt been assessed never mind written off or repaired! I'm now in Limbo with no car or any idea when I'll either get mine back or have my claim settled

Automated service asks all the info and then say they are closed. Absolutely disgraceful. Also massive price rise on car policy so may as well cancel and go somewhere else as they don’t seem to care

Awful customer service. You can't cancel via the website, the chatbot doesn't let you communicate and when you do manage to find a phone number to call no one answers. oh and then you have to pay to cancel?

One star and that’s being generous the service I’ve received from them has been terrible I was in a car accident in January and my vehicle was written off I have had to constantly chase them to get things sorted your on hold for over an hour every time you call before you Evan get to speak to any one then when you finally do get through to someone they haven’t got a clue how to sort you query so getting put on hold again for 20/30 minutes at a time. I still haven’t been paid out for my car and every person I’ve spoken to since hasn’t been able to sort it. They’re cheap for a reason the service is shocking.

DO NOT USE SHEILA'S WHEELS. Absolutely appalling IN EVERY WAY. It's a case of Joseph's dream in the Bible. I had seven fat years with Sheila's Wheels when everything was outstaningly good, until February 2024, when my seven lean years began. They increased my premium by 77% despite there being no change in my circumstances: no claims, no change of address and no change to my car. When I tried to phone them, I could not find a phone number on their website and had to search around on the web to find one. I called three times and the phone was never answered; I was put on hold, with some dreadful music in the background. In one case I was on hold for 47 minutes before I hung up. I then used a comparison website and I managed to get a hugely cheaper quote. I took it immediately and sent a complaint to them via their website - I had to type it out. After that they couldn't have been better. I got two phone calls from their Customer Care department - very polite, but all I got was the usual corporate claptrap as an explanation - but that's what you get from Customer Care with most other companies. So - to sum up - they treat customers who left them and complained far, far better than customers who are still with them.

Used to be good now impossible to contact. Can't log in to account. Having to cancel my car insurance by sending letter recorded delivery and cancelling payments. Don't touch any company under the Esure brand with a barge polel

The worst and slowest customer service I have ever come across. The existing customer service telephone line requires you to deal with a bot for a good 10mins prior to speaking to an actual human …. Thankfully I have not had to call in a accident situation as I think I may have thrown my phone in a bush …. Very frustrating

I was advised by text to go online to see my renewal notice. I have never had a login in order to do that. Tried phoning, but could get nobody, the automated service offered to email a link, which never came. Eventually I gave up & insured elsewhere. Their customer service used to be ok, now it's appalling.

Scam Asked me to auto renew when I dont want. Put it on my account for auto renew. I asked them to cancel auto renew but they still went ahead anyway and now asking me to pay for the renewal.

Awful customer service, people don't listen or value you as a customer. 6 weeks no correspondence to my emails or calls. Let alone acknowledging my complaint. Kept in dark about claim. Awful company. Stay away from Esure Group. Everything is chat or email awful. Call centres are not based in UK and very difficult to comprehend what agent is saying. CEO of ESURE needs to know!!!

If I could leave less than one star I would. I made a no-fault claim 5 months ago and at every step, Sheila's Wheels have been incredibly unhelpful and slow to respond. Several times they have said someone will get back to me and they have not, and I am still out of pocket for an accident that was not my fault. The company has refused to provide any estimate of when I'll be refunded and has zero interest in resolution. I will not be insuring with them or their parent company every again. Disgusted.

My car was written off by a reckless passing driver towards the end of January. It took Sheila's wheels ten days to collect it from the roadside. Since then, I have phoned every two days, but almost two months in I am still waiting for the settlement (that we agreed three weeks ago) to be paid out. I sent an official complaint after four weeks, but three weeks later they have not responded to this. Sometimes I will receive an email asking for another document. Today it was the MOT certificate - that anyone can check within seconds online. If I send a document it requires me to phone and only then will they check their emails and allocate it to my case. I will never insure with an esure group company again.

"Every thing was great until we left them for one of our car policies they gave wrong no claims years to new company and this ment the company who I went to cancelled our policy as they said we had given incorrect information on amount of years but thankfully I was able to prove my policies from past years at the roadside in my old emails so the police gave us time to contact Shelia\u2019s wheels and get them to sort it to correct information so I could tell the new one so they reinstated my policy and the police then released my vehicle as they said I had no insurance when I did was a complete nightmare so glad I had all the old policies in my emails to show the police and he gave me 24 hours to sort but otherwise all was good when we were with them just hope when our other car insurance is due for renewal with them that I don\u2019t have the same problem x\r\n"
