Took out my insurance with them, they gave a good quote and I thought a good name too! Then I retired, doing much less mileage and thought I’d update them. Costly error it seems, charged £20 to alter employment,?then £38 more as apparently I’m more risk now? Really?? I shan’t be renewing or dealing with them again, shocking fees behind the scenes and call taker just took pleasure in adding everything the call was going to cost me, charming way of dealing with customers

The post office staff here are the rudest and most ignorant I have ever come across. They don’t speak and grunt at you to make payment or whatever it is they want you to do. I would never ever send anything from here or buy anything if my life depended on it. I’m local but gladly travel over 6 miles to the next post office I know to send parcels as I cannot bear to go in this horrible place. Avoid at all costs if you don’t want to ruin your day.

Kings Street Post Office Crieff. Amazingly rude and aggressive service. I went in today to drop off a parcel and was directed to queue in a certain place by a young staff member who was not wearing a mask although moving round the branch. I made a friendly observation about the queuing arrangements and he turned very aggressive and said " do you want to get served or do you want to argue?". I was amazed at the attitude and sudden aggressive behaviour.

Standards in the Post Office have reached rock bottom. There seems to be no concept of customer services. Most branches have become very shabby and with some exceptions, most staff seem to have the attitude that they are doing you a favour rather than providing a service that we are paying for. It reminds me of what unemployment benefit offices felt like in the 80s. The company has franchised out most of its branches and really needs to get its act together in setting and monitoring basic standards. The split between the post office and royal mail has also led to poorer service. I have approached both companies and they just blame each other rather than try to sort out issues. I have even been told by customer services that the companies are not allowed to talk to each other due to competition rules. So they are also blaming the regulators. I have great loyalty to the traditional post system, but they at the moment they are doing a great job in driving customers away to other couriers.

Phoned the post office about my insurance and enquired about having a rebate for the nearly 10,000 miles I have not driven this year and they said no. However, if wanted to reduce this on the current policy it would involve a change which would include an admin charge. . The second part of my call was for an insurance quote.....sorry Post Office but you ain't getting any more busines/ money from me. Was happy to inform you that you had just lost more business and this will reduce further when the policy expire.

I had coronavirus which meant i was in hospital for 2 weeks and had significant reduced pay in December, I talked to post office money about the situation, and came to an agreement that if i pay by the 29th that it will not be reported as late payment on this occasion. The collection officer Anita said she has spoke to their managers Elisa and had this confirmation by email. I paid the instalment close to £495, and 2 days later the lying crooks post office money has not only reported it as late but reported wrong as 2 months late!!!! I am now seeking litigation for the damages they have caused by not upholding the agreement and basically only lying to get me to pay and illegal invalid reporting. STAY AWAY FROM POST OFFICE, THEY OUTSOURCE THE COMPLAINTS AND SUPPORT TEAM TO A ROGUE CROOKED DEBT COLLECTION COMPANY CALLED INTRUM, THESE ARE LOW LIFE TOILET CLEANERS WHO DONT KNOW JACKALL ABOUT THE RULES AND REGULATIONS IN THE FINANCIAL INDUSTRY, THEY DID NOT EVEN KNOW WHAT THE FCA IS. LYING FILFTH OF THE EARTH.

Attended Sale Moor Post Office was redirected to the bottom of the Office, the woman just could not be bothered too busy reading a book. I wanted a book of stamps and can't believe in the whole Post Office they didn't have any. Wanted my letter to go in the bag but this was to much trouble it had to go in the Box. The Post Post Office used to be family run and fabulous. However all the staffs attitude is awful very unfriendly poor service.

This has to be one the worst companies on the planet especially when making a claim. in addition to the poorest claims process, they now also will sell you International Post Labels from their website that are completely useless as they DO NOT accept the parcel in the Post Office under "new rules" to top it all i have now been on hold to customer service for half an hour and counting.

This for the depot in blackheath, London, NOT the shop... I've had 4 parcels lost through blackheath depot in the last year. And 2 lost the previous year. I'm out £200+ so far, (£290 if this latest missing parcel doesn't show up) because, quite rightly, the senders won't take responsibility for the depot's incompetence/theft. The post office retail shop staff are great Very helpful and friendly. Always a pleasure to deal with them. The public face of the depot however, he's another story! This older "gentleman", literally huffs and grunts when you greet him good morning. Asking him to do anything is met with more grunts and huffs. He talks to customers like they are idiots who are inconveniencing him. I think he forgets he's being paid to do this job. Maybe it's time he retired, if he hates it so much. I'd lose all my business, if I treated my customers this poorly. It's like dealing with an angry teenager. I dread having to deal with him, as he is not only rude, but he also couldn't care less about resolving issues. I've had promises that things will get looked into, but they never do. On my last visit, they said they'd "look into it"...difficult when you didnt even take down my name or address. Maybe the old fella is kept on due to his psychic powers? Sadly, these lazy/corrupt/incompetent postal staff have us over a barrel. I can't force a sender to use other means, so I have to suffer constant losses and disgusting customer service. Blackheath postal depot leaves you feeling helpless and robbed.

I asked the Post Office not to renew my home insurance as I had found a better deal elsewhere yet they went ahead and renewed it without my consent and debited my account! Make sure you tell them and also block them from taking money of your account by informing your bank!

Avoid post office money, really awful, I ordered some travel money that was never delivered and not refunded, I cancelled my trip and still waiting for the money to arrive; they refused to refund and just asked me to wait until it is declared lost.

Gadget insurance review. Had to get insurance on my 2 year old laptop for Student Finance to get software installed on it. About a month after getting the standard cover, I accidentally spilled tea on it and it stopped seeing the HD. I panicked of course, and that night I started a claim because I do all my uni stuff on it and would need it sorted quickly. The next day the company had emailed asking for pics of it including when turned on. I took pics, turned it on and (yay!) it was working fine. The liquid had dried no harm, no foul. I sent the pics but said it was working again so I wouldn't need the claim. They replied saying there was casing damage and misalignment between the screen and keyboard and that I'd need to explain that before they could accept a claim because it would mean my laptop wasn't in good working condition when I purchased the policy but let them know if I wanted to cancel the claim. There IS NO casing damage except for some scratches on the outside. There is no misalignment. I replied that there was no damage to the case but they could shut the claim. They replied again this time saying the side image showed clear damage and that if I get it repaired I'd have to provide proof for future claims but please confirm I want to cancel the claim. I went back to say there IS NO damage but yes, please cancel the claim. Honestly, it's ridiculous that they are looking at pictures and trying to say there is damage. My laptop is in good condition and if something happens in future I won't bother trying to get them to sort it.
