avoid! wont give you your no claims proof at the end!!! call and they hang up or you end up waiting 1-4hours on hold!

SHOCKING! Been on hold for a total of 4 hours today! Wanted to switch insurance to a new car but instead I am cancelling without hesitation (if I ever manage to speak to anyone!) Avoid at all costs! And to top it off this website just told me ladybird are externally soliciting reviews from happy customers which will give a skewed rating!!!

I have tried calling on 19 occasions over 5 months to amend my policy and been on hold for between 45 mins and 3 hrs and as yet not got hold of anyone. I’ve eithe been cut off at 5.30 or staff have hung up as soon as they answer. I’ve emailed and written a letter and now going to complain to the ombudsman as this is disgraceful customer service. Covid isn’t an excuse for such poor contact centre provision

I have very bad experience this insurance company i cal to chang my insurance other vehicle but idid five day calling no ones answering my phone I don’t no what can I do My van is break down I buy other van but insurance company did not answer my phone I need Chang my policy other vehicle

Very disappointed with this car insurance.they will have you waiting a long time before they answer the phone to you.they spoke to my partner on the phone and didn’t ask her a question about about a claim that hadn’t been put on setting up the policy.after taking our £220 deposit.the claim was a false claim against us 3 years ago and not our fault.after taking our deposit and setting up the policy they emailed they us the next day that Said our policy was set up.but in a file they said they had to cancel our policy for not adding the claim to the policy.I tried calling them the next day while waiting one hour to speak to them. I got no refund from my deposit and the charged me another £25 for cancelling this policy.I didn’t pay the £25 fee and they called me 3 times a day to collect this money and send messages and emails to say if I don’t pay they will pass my details on to a debt collection agency.they passed the £25 on to a debt collection agency which went up to £63. More calls and emails about this will affect our credit report.please be very careful of this insurance company they are out to take your money and not to help you

THEIVES. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They claim i did not submit our driver check codes (i have the internet history and screenshots to prove otherwise) nevertheless, they've cancelled our insurance and refunded us HALF of our money. They have stolen over £150. They emailed me at 16:02 to tell me they were cancelling and to call to discuss. I called at 16:08 and was on hold for over 45mins with no answer. Customer service have now told me i can complain but that in their experience this does not help. i have no insurance, im down £150 so cannot afford insurance, and i cant get through to them despite 20+ attempts over two days. TERRIBLE! I wish i'd read the reviews before using them.

Been trying to call for 7 days numerous times to get a NCB conformation for my new insurance......... BEFORE they blame “covid”🤣🤣 trying to speak to someone has ALWAYS been the same

Absolutely the worst insurance company I have come across in 20 years! avoid! Like previous customers my insurance has just been cancelled after all documentation being sent, I too will be contacting financial ombudsman

Terrible - I was told that I have to put a tracker on my car if not then have to cancel my insurance. When I called to have it removed, then they said it’s not the responsibility and I have to pay some one to remove it according to the terms and agreement. Despite being told by the insurer initially who informed me I must have the tracker, that it could be removed on request if the car no longer requires insurance. I suggest you check your phone log as this was told to me.

I had a query about my policy and had waited for over an hour the first time I phoned and had to hang up. The second time I phoned at 9am and my call was answered straight away by a very helpful pleasant young man called Dave. He explained everything I wanted to know in a patient and calm manner. I have taken off one star for the initial long wait.

I wish I read these reviews firstly! I too took out insurance with these fraudsters, a month later a email saying there going to cancel in 3 days for failing to send proof of my no claims bonus ( which I did ) , I re-sent them now they want another £135 ??? Ombudsman tomorrow!!

2 weeks solid never answered the phone, refused to send over my NCB, Meaning I cannot insure with anybody else but them as they are the only people with my NCB on record. Avoid at all costs, and go elsewhere, absolute disgrace of a company and by far the worst customer service around.avoid

AVOID AT ALL COST!!! this company is beyond a joke! I started with them last year and I got into an accident which was not my fault I have all documentation ie witness and footage of the crash and proves this wasn't my fault... however they still have not solved this case and this has now been 4 months running now! Still no decisions! So my renewal all is due and they tell me a week before my renewal they will no longer be insuring me! They haven't given reason and they have not helped me through my claim in the slightest! Few physios that is all! Nothing more... now I have a week to find someone new! And if you ever try an call them look at waiting for over an hour to be answered I have pictures proving the wait time also! You do not feel like a valued customer I the slightest! Unless you are paying in full for the year which I did! Also on this review it says you can upload pictures of your proof which will NOT let me add at all! Tells you everything really doesn't it...

The worst service I have ever experienced. On hold for 2.45 hours first time, called on another line and was told somebody would call me back as I was at a car dealership trying to collect my new car. Second time on hold 2 hours and somebody was speaking to an underwriter to come back to me within an hour. 4 hours later I am hold for the second time for an hour. Avoid this business as the are just scamming people AVOID

Rang them on Christmas Eve regarding change of vehicle. It took me over an hour to get connected and further 20 minutes regarding my query. After all that, I was advised I cannot change the vehicle and it is above Ladybird Insurance threshold. That got me really annoyed because the car I had with them to the car I wanted them to insure me on were pretty much the same in terms of engine size etc... I then was told i need to pay a cancellation charge if I was to cancel my existing policy, hang on, I did not know that your insurance compay does not have the threshold to insure my new vehicle and therefore I would not be paying this. Well, raised a complaint and was told this would be fast tracked and someone will call me Monday (no call) and so I am actually on the phone to them now trying to get CONNECTED!!!!! I rather pay extra then be with this company.

Absolutely avoid Ladybird Insurance. Unless you want to be treated like you are only worth the money and not as a valid customer or even human. I have been with them for over a year shoddy customer service most times. However now they have refused to allow me to transfer my insurance to another much less valued vehicle temporarily whilst my BMW 3 series that I pay very high insurance for is mended. The person I spoke to could not provide me with a reason nor would he allow me to speak to anybody else to take my complaint further he refused my right to complain. I have never missed a payment my premium is being paid on a vehicle which is undertaking repairs and I simply wanted to insure my temporary car. Considering it’s two days before Christmas we are in a pandemic short journeys need to be made just in case to buy essentials as well as several pharmacy and doctors appointments for my son and this company refused to help me or provide a reason why they would not. Absolutely disgusting customer service during a horrible year and right before Christmas. Definitely do not put your trust or hard earned money into this company.
