I found ladybird car insurance on a comparison website they are luring the customers in with the cheapest insurance quote. After submitting lots of paperwork requested by the insurance company it a long and painful process ,l and reading lots of negative feedbacks on Trustpilot I decided to cancel my insurance policy with ladybird on the 10th day . After many attempts to get through the customer service I only finally managed to get a cancellation today 10 th of April 2024. They customer service is dreadful and now the overcharging me £195.05 for cancellation fees Which is a lot for because the cost of living. If you look on their online reviews there is a lot o people complaining with the same issue. I mean this company is literally ripping people off. Something needs to be done

Very unprofessional service Just for a typing error of my vehicle purchasing date instead of 2023 i mistakenly put 2022 which anyone can make, they send me an email for additional £600 of extra top of my cover. If that's so why didn't you get me correct before i pay £1200 for the premium and uploaded all the documents and wasted my time. People can buy a car anytime or can hold it for several years which they can't note that on diary. I had to cancel the insurance before it starts and loosing £60 for so called cancellation fees ,Customer service department over the phone need to be more professional and good informative.

Please avoid this scammers ! After I paid the deposit the next day asked licence copy . I send it . Following day they send that the dates are not corresponding . It was about 1 months discrepancies. Instead to put 7 years and 11 months I put 8 years. They want to increase my insurance with 1000£ .

Ladybird cancelled my insurance because… Ladybird cancelled my insurance because of a change of address and then took out money from my account the following month. When I called them, they said I was owing them £212.61 and sent me an email to that effect, of which they had never sent me before me calling them. They also blackmailed me saying if I do not pay, they would not issue me with my NCB. I think Ladybird, Close Brothers and Right Choice are all in this con game. It made no sense to cancel my insurance as I have never had a claim and still charge me for them canceling my insurance. Also I was told over the phone, that I was paying in arrears. Who pays for services nowadays in arrears, especially insurance. Has anyone heard anything so ridiculous??? PUBLIC, KEEP AWAY FROM THEM PLEASE. They are bad news.

I work nights Looking out a window From now on I will be going on every social media site possible Telling everyone about my terrible experience of your company I will also be contacting go compare website to try and get you removed I can’t promise to get you shut down I will do my best to If I can get you shut down great The least I will do is put as many people as possible of using your company So Hopefully you will not get new customers You have wasted a lot of my time You should tell people before the sign up for your insurance you expect the customer to do loads of stupid things I have never done before in 33 years of driving insurance Promise I will do my best to get you shut down The very minimum I will do is go every social media site at least 4 times a week telling everyone my terrible experience of your company and to never use ladybird insurance Hope I cost you as much as I can You emails are rude and in 33 years of having car insurance I have never experienced anything like your terrible company I think every needs to know

DO NOT try to buy insurance policy premium with LADY BIRD. They are Brookers but scammers and you will only find out after having paid for the service that you might not even receive or use just for a small of yours. They’re not good listeners and not helpful. I do not recommend LADY BIRD INSURANCE

Would not personally use again. Can’t get hold of them. Poor communication and service. Once you buy their product, the restrictions they impose are ludicrous

No communication, mishandled insurance by cancelling prematurely, no recompense offered, avoid wherever possible as there is no going back, they'll just use a debt collection agency. Reported to the financial ombudsman.

The most dishonest, money grabbing company. Do not insure with them. They lure you in with a low price, then send emails that don't contain all the information you need. We rang them 4 times, were accepted and then a week later told they were cancelling our policy because of a gap in our insurance. Information they had from the start. WE had to pay them £150 for them to cancel! It's a scam, for not use them

WORST INSURANCE COMPANY EVER! they will give you a call a few days later after your insurance starts and they WILL increase your insurance price (mine increased by £700) without no reason-without asking any questions and if you don't accept they WILL charge you £150 "Cancellation fee" so they WILL get money out of you either way. I hope this company goes bankrupt- they deserve it for stealing in daylight.

The absolute worst insurance company I have ever used. From threatening to cancel my insurance if I didn't contact them, Helps if you answered the phone, or email. To not providing me with proof of my NCB. And the cherry on top.. They are externally soliciting good reviews. Pffft.

!!!SCAMMERS!!! avoid this company at all cost. took out a policy in april payed £200+ deposit kept on receiving sms to send in documents after I’d sent them in about 10 times.when you phone them your on hold for 3 hours after 4 weeks they cancelled the insurance which was a relief meaning I didn’t have to deal with the company again. But after 7 months they have emailed to say the want £850 outstanding balance. I have emailed the to say im not paying because i sent the documents in the time frame they gave me and they’re Denying it and saying the policy is still live. Wish id read the reviews and stayed away.lesson learned buy cheap buy twice.

I have been trying to cancel my policy for FOUR MONTHS - I haven't had any of my MULTIPLE calls or emails returned. I have been on hold for over an hour at a time and am now only getting £30 returned to be due to £80 of fees getting taken away from my remaining insurance. Absolutely criminal, I would NOT recommend.
