I still cannot find an operator to answer my question of whether I do not have to pay excess of £250 as I had paid additional for this? I would really appreciate clarification.

I took the policy due to price. Cover appeared to be as expected. With added extras as required. The only draw back is the constant telephone calls of the repeated nature and then calls from a digital platform with a voice mail when I first took the policy out. I rang to state this is becoming annoying and blocked their number as it didn’t stop. They said it was a error in their system. They wanted the PNCB proof literally ASAP. You don’t get this information as soon as you end one policy for another and it felt pressured to get the letter/proof from the past insurers for protected no claims. On the plus side I like the digital platform and uploading documents so you don’t have to talk to people etc. So let’s see how it pans out...

Great premium price at renewal but sloppy service. Policy documents not sent out & having rung up & complained 2 weeks later, documents emailed but promised hard copy still not arrived a further week later.

I have only just taken out cover with you so it is far too soon for me to form any opinion. The lady I spoke with was excellent with a good sense of humor but to have to answer the same questions twice over spoilt the experience.

I have emailed Grove & Dean twice and all I get back is an email saying we will contact you within the next 24 hours etc 2 weeks later I am still waiting a response to my request.😡😡😡

Was good enough process to renew.. however.. would have nice to be contacted at least one month before so I had time to look around.. also I still have not received my car insurance certificate despite emailing you

How can I judge the business?. The policy price is good but the only true way I have to present a review is if, god forbid I have to make a claim. This would depend upon how my claim was handled. This is an irrelevant question.

All things considered these guys were ok. Never had to claim so can't comment on that but in the end just not competitive pricing

Was put out that they insisted in phone call to check details when we had already been through details.

You have to give 2 photos of car in garage. Telephoned a couple of times and gave up after 15 mins and 20 mins to say I couldn’t for 2 weeks as working away. No answer. Emailed queries about policy with number attached and no reply. When i did get photos to them a reply came back. So don’t expect an answer to emails unless you have what they want on them. Or wait ages for them to answer on phone.

Got a good deal and communication is fast. Unfortunately, customer service (via phone) was sometimes less helpful and rather impatient.

I found it very difficult to get through by phone to the company after I was insured and often had to spend up to an hour waiting to get through. Not very helpful when I had to make a change and although minor insisted on taking payment.

renewal email was sent,but could not access the quote details for new policy.The link had not been supplied to the letter.Tried to phone on the renewal telephone number instead but this was not recognised so phoned on customer services number.spoke to a young lady who was excellent and professional and gave me new quote.quote was readjusted and agreed .could have been 4 stars but email was poor.

I don't really think the staff on the call gov 'that bit extra' not really interested in looking into the market for a better deal - sad really, prefer a broker to dealing direct with an insurer online.
