Yes, they are the cheapest insurance but an absolute joke. If you have an accident don't expect them to advise or defend you. I and a 3rd party accidentally collided in a car park. The 3rd party had no valid MOT, he waited 3 months after to make a claim. My insurance never informed me of the claim made against me until my years no claims, and when I informed the advisor 'he hadn't a valid MOT (even took a screenshot for prove). I was led to believe insurance, therefore, is invalid, however, no-one followed this up, and I was advised to take the responsibility.

I am absolutely appalled by the service I have received from GoGirl. I received an email last week to tell me that my car insurance would be cancelled within 7 days (even though the terms and conditions state they will give you 14 days notice) as the car was dual insured. When I took out the insurance they said that dual insurance would not be an issue, and only decided that it was a problem when I was already a month into my insurance policy. Due to a family death I was unable to resolve the issue immediately, but did email them within the time frame and received no response. My insurance was then cancelled, despite them having already taken money out of my account for this month, and when I asked for a refund of that money was told there was 'nothing we can do' by a very rude advisor. I have now paid £135 to be insured on a car for 1 month and 5 days, which as a student I absolutely cannot afford. I am disgusted in the way it has been dealt with and the lack of empathy from GoGirl under the circumstances. The two members of staff that I spoke to were both incredibly rude and didn't even listen to what I was trying to say, instead talking across me and repeating 'there's nothing we can do'. I will never ever use their insurance again and would never recommend their services to anyone.

My daughter got in touch to let them know she was now working full time and was no longer a student. Thought there might be an admin charge of 20 quid or something. Very shocked to get an email back ( with spelling mistakes all through) saying there was an increase in her premium if she changed her occupation and it would cost her an extra £325!!!! Needless to say she will no longer be renewing with them! Well done go girl, you just lost a customer.

By far the worst customer service I have ever received. This company is only after your money they do not care about you as a client. They will not go the extra mile to sort out any kind of concern for the customer. It is the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of doing business with, I will not even go into detail........ We took out a policy to start in a month's time through Compare the Market, however,within the hour we realised that the policy did not meet our requirements. We rang Gogirl to cancel and were horrified to discover there was a £45 cancellation fee!!!! Even though we had had no cover at all. I have never had this with other insurance companies. A total RIP OFF. So be warned!!!

astronomical price increase after our children passed there driving test. The lady dealing with our insurance provided very poor service seam to know very little about our details that were in front of her and information we gave her in the conversation. She gave a totally different quote to that of her colleague who we spoke to 10min earlier and left us feeling she hadn't a clue what she was doing. left with no confidence about our insurance we spoke to a manager that left us with an astronomical insurance policy that we canceled. Great price insurance for learners, as long as you don't pass your test.

I am currently going through a claim due to a third party not admitting liability, although the accident happened due to him being negligent. He has made up a ridiculous stort - literally in front of me on roadside and now i am contesting! Go girl have been a complete nightmare, no communication, errors in the information i originally provided, passing on the information of my passengers and myself to 3rd party lawyer firms.. i mean the list could go on. As soon as this is over NEVER AGAIN unless they prove me wrong which i really cannot foresee at this time. Angry and ill treated loyal customer!

Where do I start Charge £25 every time a change took £75 off me this year on top of premium. Car wrote off at Christmas took to mid February to advise settlement after me chasing countless times. No one returns calls Then they paid the money into wrong finance account, which meant it was sent back to them. After I chased again it took several more days/week to pay money back into the correct account. Which cost me extra interest for all the delays. Although I have protected no claims they even put my car DD payments up by about £20 per month!! Called to advise Change of DD and to pay this months payment and they refused to take my payment telling me that they would charge me £20 for failed DD and could only take payment when they contacted me to say DD has failed!!!!! So tonight they won't take payment over phone so my account upto date but they will let it fail and charge me £20 for privilege of phoning back Oh yes and then £25 again to note on account that I drive a company car and my mileage is less than 4000 a year now!!! Customer service is shocking I have never dealt with a worse company in all my life. My advice it is not Go Girl it's Go Elsewhere

Changed one item on our insurance and somehow they removed our No Claims at the same time. Very poor at answering the phone. Nice staff, terrible insurance company. Avoid them

Have had a horrible experience with go girl.they use various tactics to get more money. They come out as cheap and then give various excuses to get more money.

Dreadful Company. Lack of communication. Refused to confirm their cancellation policy. Tried to charge an additional £50.30 because confused.com auto-filled the No Claims Discount as 9 years when I was searching for quotes via their website, but there had been a claim during the year and I didn't realise that even with 'protected' no claims, you lose a year's NCD. Was told the difference between 8 years and 9 years NCD was £50.30. Whilst I was waiting for a response to my enquiry regarding their cancellation policy they cancelled the policy themselves, with no mention of refunding the premiums! Steer clear is my best advice.

Claiming terms and conditions from Go Compare which i have no access to check. Communication very poor, hard to get a hold of on phone and then just apologised because a colleague misinformed me. Sent me round the houses to obtain a document from my insurance company for another vehicle that was no good anyway as it was a motorhome as was clearly stated on the initial document and then wanted to charge me to remove that document from the policy. Cost me over £200 to cancel the policy as was a week over one month. I should have listened to all the bad reviews instead of just the good ones.

It would appear that no one at Go Girl takes note of emails advising them of the fact that renewal will not happen. They just ignore you and send renewal documents regardless. Question: how many men does it take to change a light bulb. Answer: Not as many as it takes for Go Girl to take notice of a customers wishes.

Too expensive, service appalling, bad attitudes and they automatically renew your insurance whether you like it or not! Oh and stupid name for an insurance company :o(

Recently chose to insure car with this company because they were cheap. Phoned them urgently to make a change to the policy, advised in the morning and at 4pm today that their systems are down. No explanation provided, no help offered. Very poor customer service, can't even cancel policy if I wanted to. What a disgrace!
