Go girl! Go and get another insurance ... When I searched the internet for Go Girl's reputation I had no idea what they could do with their client. It was an attractive price for my insurance and had a reasonable reputation with Google, so I trusted and insured my car. I put all the pertinent information (I have a driver's license from another country for 17 years, 14 consecutive years insurance without claim) and so far so good. But after paying the first installment, came the surprise. A 25% increase in price for not accepting to be insurance from another country (they knew when they approved the budget by Comparethemarket, nothing was omitted!) And now when taking my full driver's license, they will do a new I add to my insurance. (again they knew I didn't have a UK Driver License) and yet they made the cheapest offer! Summary: The price will be good at first, but once you get it done and no longer have the patience and time to research another insurer, they will beat it and make your insurance the most expensive. Go girl! Go and get another insurance from another company.

had a good year of insurance, was in process of purchasing my renewal, got a email for an additional fee which would be cheaper for me to cancel and go elsewhere, when asked what this fee was, never understood and stated this after the phone call and asked for more information via email and the customer service completely ignored I asked this. Currently waiting for a refund which I was told would take 3 working days, here I am on the 5th working day

I phoned today to change the policy I took out 2 days ago because my daughter, who was on my policy as an additional driver, had passed her test. Despite the fact that I was completely removing a learner driver from my policy you charged me an extra £50! Less risk equals more cost with Go Girl obviously! Shameful!

Abysmal and unfriendly customer services, no customer focus at all, just want your money. Was charged for accidentally cancelling the wrong direct debit (I cancelled new policy by mistake rather than old) but made the payment by card just 1 day later and reinstated the direct debit. First offence and genuine mistake but customer services inflexible, unfriendly (bordering on rude) and unhelpful. Complaints process much the same. I hate to think of the experience should you actually need to claim. AVOID THIS DREADFUL COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

I called to cancel my policy a month before it was due for renewal and received an email from the company to confirm they had received instruction not to renew my policy. Subsequently a payment was taken from my bank account for a new policy. I called go girl to ask why this had happened and ask for the money to be returned to my account. They accepted that they had received the instruction NOT to renew my policy and put it down to human error, I was then told it would take roughly a week for the money to be returned to me. A week later and I still have not received a refund of the money that should not have been taken from my account. Again I called the contact centre and this time was told that there should have been a request put in for a refund which hadn't happened and it would now take up to a further 7 days for a refund to be processed and in my account. I am extremely dissatisfied with this service and it has left me feeling like I have been stolen from and my requests (although have been dealt with by trained customer service people) have been totally ignored and I am still left out of pocket. They have told me that any bank charges incurred will be reimbursed but this to me should be a given as I would not have incurred these if it weren't for their errors. Would not reccomend this company purely for the errors they have made, this would concern me greatly now if I had to actually make a claim.

We had to use the insurance after my son suffered a prang. They were terrible at updating us, we had to phone them every time. We heard from the car hire company that the car had been written off. It remains to be seen if they deal with the financial side with more professionalism. I would not recommend them

wouldnnt even give them one star !! cancelled my policy claiming not to have been sent any documents (which they have been sent emails, and we have received read receipts) and are not going to refund fairly - taking nearly half of what a years insurance cost for 2 months use - girl who answered the phone was useless and APRIL the supervisor was unfair and tried to palm off responsibility to every one she could possibly think of. dreadful, dreadful service and theyve not heard the last from us - will take to the small claims court. do not use this insurance as youll regret it. crooks!

I think Go car was a poor choice for car insurance, they lost paperwork 5 times and tried to increase the premium one month in. would not recommend.

Took over one thousand pounds and then claims that my details do not exist. Absolute trash. Useless customer service. Not even worth one star.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID What an absolute disgrace. I would have left two stars if that was possible Searched for quote to add my 17yr twins onto my car insurance. Quoted £98 which was a acceptable. One has now passed and the increase in premium was £3600. The only other option is to take them off at an astronomical £185 + £25 admin fee. Pay £42 deposit or insurance will be cancelled within 7 days. They state that they offer discounts for learner drivers but nowhere on their site does it state that this is the case. I was told it was I the t's and it's and when I asked for a copy i was told it was a mistake. I would recommend Marmalade for your learners. A little expensive overall but well worth it. I understand that as a parent of a youg driver it will be expensive but a complete lack of transparency and honesty has left me feeling very bitter regarding GoGirls policy and procedure but what is absolutely horrendous is one really dissapointed young adult. Can't wait to see what happens when the next one passes!

I have rung a few insurance companies whom advised that they would have only charged an admin fee of £25 But NO Go Girl charged a £150 for another 6 months. What a con. Thanks for nothing GO Girl

If I could rate them a 0 I would. Called to find out about my renewal quote, greeted by a rude call handler, unclear advice and confusion through lack of communication on the company's side. I was also given three completely different prices (£823, £954 and £1067) and no one could tell me why. Decided to go with another insurer and save myself the hassle of dealing with GoGirl. Avoid at all costs!! Nothing but hassle with them!!

Poor service. I insured a car, sent all the documents off required to drive. I had an international licence. When it came to renewal time, they demanded a UK licence even though my international licence had been fine previously. They cancelled my insurance even though DVLA stated he could drive in the UK. They happily took my money though.

Well If I can give less than a star I would do I got my policy on an international license with a reasonable premium At the last month of my policy I got my UK license and when I called to update my license the changed my premium and charged me extra 245 £ with no options what so ever And If I refused this premium I am not insured and My policy is not valid till I pay this amount which left me powerless Very bad experience when you call to update your license to a full UK which means that you are more qualified and more competent in your driving and then you find that you need to pay 245 pounds or you are not insured I am not going to renew or have a policy with this company again

Got provisional cover for my daughter then 15 days later she passed her test. Premium shot up from £1000 to £3500 and because over the 14 days cool off, they would not refund the £170 deposit so a couple of hours driving cost me quite a lot.
