Our policy wording was changed to expand the exclusions clause AFTER we took out the policy. We were not advised that "commuting" was expanded to include travel to education. I am sure this is poor practice and the change would negatively affect many policy holders.

Received a renewal quote at £840. Price for new business on CTM for exactly the same risk was £770. I emailed you with these details asking if you wanting to do the renewal at that price and save your CTM fee. Response I got was - no thanks we don't "rate match". So firstly it's very disappointing that you have no reward for loyalty charging 10% more for the same risk and then not understanding that I was trying to be helpful. Nothing wrong with the new business rate - still the best in the market.

Found checking details for quote confusing and system slow to respond - people included on insurance quote not all on one page which resulted in one person being on quote twice and another missed. When we called to correct information, staff were disinterested, and appeared tired/bored. We were given option of cancelling policy for £49 or correcting details for £52. Either choice of these prices added to the original quote brought us over what other companies had quoted us. Very disappointed.

Searched on line, go compare. Check reviews and Go Girl all good. Filled in information required for my Daughter and asked questions on Commute to/from school/part time work. assumed it would be included in cost and why it was asked. Paid £600 and then find out on policy that it is not included. very confusing or verified. Also as my daughter is only learning and will have her test in approx. one month that the fee I paid will rise to £2200 once she gets her test...that was not clarified either so have now cancelled and lost £45 in process. Girl at call centre (Shannon) helpful, informative, sadly apologetic and good CSR. Painful lesson and waiting on refund minus £45 even though policy not even activated. GoGirl... you need to be very clear than when price given that questions you asked are really what you cannot have as opposed to being included.

a good price on car insurance Unfortunately when I called to announce that I have another driving license they put me to pay £ 350, but it's good '' to say'' that the cancellation was ''free'' in the middle of the month Unfortunately after 9 months of insurance you lose NO Claims Discount, I applied again to this company unfortunately I not have NCD , its the same company ....

Why does your online computer system shut down at 2200hrs - spent hours gathering together docs and scanning them in - but all came together after 2200hrs - marvellous!! Are you really sorry - nope I thought not.

I have just renewed my policy, and yet again (this is the third time) I have been informed in the email that there is an attachment - no attachment! The actual phone conversation was very smooth, and if there had been an attachment with my policy I would have given you 5 stars, but I'm afraid I can't.

If you pick this company via a comparison website then make sure Go Girls work details are the same. I filled in compare the markets details only to get Go Girl insisting I had completed their form incorrectly and insisting I should pay a £25 fee (even though details had transferred over from compare). Wasn't until I got compare the market involved that they waived this fee - seem to me that if I'd had a claim it would have been difficult to be paid out, just watch out for hidden fees.

Tried to change my adress through email and was sent three different emails from different people all contradicting themselves. Replied with the he information they had asked for and then got an email saying my policy would be cancelled in seven days as they needed to update my information. I took out insurance elsewhere and told them to cancel my policy for them to say okay thankyou for it in writing my request was approved then three days later get another email saying as I haven't responded To the email in the seven days my contract has been cancelled. Need to sort then communication out big time can't believe they are an online company and you can't just your adress online

Cheapest insurance for me however you really get what you don't pay for. Awful communication, tell you they will ring and get things sorted yet always seem to be an excuse. I had to constantly chase them up and things still didn't get sorted. Really no help and useless. Will not be using them next year..

Took out insurance for my daughter's first car , all done online , however by doing it online you are unable to add any comments or additional information. in this case I wanted to let them know that a personal number plate would be going on the car as soon as we have the V5 returned from DVLA. I emailed customer service to inform them that I was unable to process this request when buying the insurance , all they kept saying you agreed to our terms and conditions so a charge of £25 admin fee will be charged . I have been using insurance companies for over 40 years and no other company I have used have charged me for a change of plate on purchase of insurance . Very Poor !

I ammended my policy as changed car and paid the £25 admin fee plus a £35 extra premium to keep my monthly payments the same. I then discovered that my direct debit bounced (plenty of money in the bank to cover it) I called them and their representative was rude and read a script to say I would be charged £20. She implied that I didnt have enough money and said it was my banks error. I contacted the bank and they told me the original mandate was altered on the day the DD was due, this can take up to 5 days to update on the banks system so the bank rejected the payment due to the mandates not matching. I then called go girl back and was told that the mandate shouldnt have been altered and that someone had made a mistake! They will not charge me the £20 but I am expecting some pleasant correspondence from them when the payment fails on their system. You can never get hold of them on the phone. I will not be renewing. Do not trust them to value you as a customer.

I bought a GoGirl policy then just over a month later had to cancel it. When you cancel an insurance policy, most insurance companies charge you for the days actually used (in my case 10%) plus an admin fee of £25-50. Fair enough. GoGirl rounded the number of months on policy up to 2, and consulted their table (yes, in the terms and conditions I should have read) and came up with a charge of 28%. Net net, I got £150 less back than I would have with a reputable insurer. READ THE FINE PRINT and decide if you can stomach their cancellation charges. My recommendation: do not use GoGirl.

The process was not a pleasant one AFTER I PAID FOR THE POLICY. Had I known the trouble I would have obtaining this policy before I had given my credit card details I most certainly would not have gone ahead. Just when I thought I had sorted it I ran into a problem with this insurance due to a misunderstanding regarding no claims discount & another vehicle I owned. They contacted me, on the day the policy commenced, & said that they could not insure me on the basis provided so I replied ok just cancel the policy. It was only when I checked my CC statements I noticed that they had not repaid the full amount. On contacting them I was informed I was charged a £40 cancellation fee. I argued on several points but to no avail. The call operator even said that I had broken the law regarding the policy. Again explaining it was a honest mistake had no effect. Go Girl is a subsidiary of a company that underwrites policies from a lot of brokers. I will in future not use this insurance company again.
