after being told that my insurance would be cancelled once my policy ended, my policy was renewed. I called the day after it was due to be cancelled to check it had been and was told it was. 3 days later the money for a new policy was taken from my account for the full year. After several phone calls and waiting ages on the phone each time Diamond eventually agreed they were at fault and refunded me. This happened 2 weeks before Christmas and no compensation was paid. Very unhappy

Excellent company, when ever I needed something like my policy's being sent I had them straight away! Couldn't ask for a better insurance company.

Been with diamond for a year with no issues, when my new quote came it had risen by over £100, so I rang and managed to get quote back down. I had another quote from direct line which was slightly cheaper, but decided to stay with diamond. I then recieved a letter telling me my insurance was going up by £130 and money was taken before I recieved letter. This was because my husbands car which was parked at work, had unfortunately been crashed into by another car, they hadn't put their handbrake on. My husband and the other driver where not present and the other driver admittedly full responsibility. When I told them this was ridiculous as it was not an accident and my husband had made no claim from his insurance, I was told because this had happened he was more likely to be involved in a crash. This makes no logical sense, he has never in 30 years had an accident, he was not in car and he does not take my car to his work place. He is a named driver, who very occasionally drives my car. When I pointed this out, as well as the fact that his fully comp cover is only £190, I was bluntly told, we don't care, this is what we do! So they got there extra £100, by devious means. Wish I had read reviews and will definately not be renewing with them. My advice is avoid.

When changed my address in the insurance I was told that this is an area of many claims and I’ll be charged for over 70 £ !!! This is actually not true as I’ve just moved to a completely new quite estate in a small town from previous address which was in the city centre in a busy town. During the same call I’ve drop my annual millage 9000 to 6000 and I was told that the premium is not going to change and I won’t get any refund .. I went online to check what different insurance providers can offer me with the same details and I found best option about 500 £ cheaper with the actual millage 6000 per year and my current address. The caller couldn’t explain why exectly there is so much difference to the quote and was saying from what I can see on my computer ... Ive cancelled the insurance with diamond the same day.

Please read these reviews and listen. Do NOT make the silly mistake I did and keep telling yourself it's fine. I have called nearly twice a week for 9 months due to payments not being taken from my account (money was there, "system error" they said.) and then to compensate this they would take large sums of money out of my account with no warning. This is a breech of your credit agreement! Don't let the bullies win. When I complained with the Financial Ombudsman about how I was treated by customer service (was told to leave money collections to the debt collectors even though I wanted to pay it) my account got frozen. With absolutely no notice my policy was canceled and I have just found out 2 months later. STAY AWAY. Too many errors and unnecessary stress for a new driver.

Phoned to let them know about a named driver on the policy using the car for a couple of weeks while the other car is fixed. Being honest and gave them the address and they wanted £216 for the change of address, baring in mind the policy ends in 8 weeks! I said this to them and was told that if I have to make a claim for anything in the area of address I gave they won't pay out!!!! Just wondering what I pay insurance for and also why I put social domestic, pleasure and commuting if they won't pay out wherever I am!! I'm absolutely fuming with them and after being with them for 6 years I have to say I cannot wait for my policy to end as I will not be renewing!

Like every insurance company It's leglisted mafia. We get insurance because we have to, we don't claim because we can't afford to. Who cares what insurance you use their all the same. Agiest, racist, sexist just to name a few things that insurance companies get away with. You pay more if your poor. I'd wish they'd all fall down a legal loop hole! This insurance company was the better of the evils as I never had to speak to them. Go diamond!

Do not go with Diamond! they put my insurance up by over £200 and then put it on my credit card without a phone call or letter, just a shock when i received my credit card bill of nearly £950! Just to make things worst, when i cancelled the insurance i didn't want or ask for they charged me nearly £100 for the privilege. wow what a great service they give. If you want to get screwed then this is the insurance company for you.

I honestly hope no one is silly enough as I was to go with this insurance group. I have never had such a bad experience with a company in all my life. I was with dimond for 3 yrs since passing my test I missed a direct debit payment so once I realised made a call to explain I had the money to make the payment now. I was told after talking to 6 different advisors that I now owe the rest of the money in full which was £641 so had to get my self in debt to pay the full amount. The direct debit failed due to ex calling behind my bk and changing the date of my direct debit so it would fail as he knew I only put the money In on the day it was due to come out. They accepted his call even tho he is not on my poilcy or doesn't even have a licence never asked my permission for him to speak on my behalf. I also had bank charges due to unplanned overdraft that I had to pay back. I explained my situation and they wouldn't overide even though it was there mistake for taking a phone call about my policy. I'm so so angry at dimond who claim to be a women's insurance group. 3 years of being a decent customer and that's what u get. They wouldn't let me off any money for paying in full for the rest of the year. Now I have to struggle to pay back £250 a month to the lender for the next couple of months. I'm truley devastated. Poor company.

Someone vandalised my car and I called Diamond for ADVICE as a costumer. As I've been informed that they don't cover this kind of incident, I didn't register and paid for the damage privately. Diamond registered the incident in my account as a claim and now I'm being quoted much more to renew my policy. I had to pay for the damage someone did on my car. and now I have to pay the difference on my policy because Diamond registered that. That is how justice works on Diamond, you are the victim and you are the one who has to pay. I've called them to discuss but they could't do anything. Very unhappy. Never again.

I had an accident on the 27th of July from the moment I called diamond I had nothing but total inconvenience. The customer service is appalling. Nothing is ever actioned when they say they will. Escalating concerns to managers doesn't resolve any issues you have. When you have to make a claim it is extremely stressful, I've been in floods of tears as I am promised things but nothing is actioned accordingly. This is the last thing you want to be dealing with when you are involved in a car crash and had injurys from that to deal with. No one has ever called me back from he 27th except a manager who called me today 4th Aug at 3pm with more bad news. I have had to call them numerous times a day to be told conflicting information and nothing is ever resolved!!! I was advised my car was total loss on Friday 28th but took them till Wed 2nd of august to be made offer which at first was insulting and the increased it which was still below value and told that nothing more can be done and that was the best offer they could give and I was promised in writing via email and on phone call that day that I will receive payment bia CHAPS by Friday at 12pm. Today Friday 4th Aug morning came nothing in bank so called up to be instructed not to worry payment is processed and I will get it by 12pm. 12pm came no payment I called yet again advised error processing payment at there end and it will be another 48hrs I explained I don't have another 48hrs to wait for this to be resolved. I've taken time off work I've been extremely stressed through the whole process I wanted payment today accounts advised this wasn't possible. I escalated my concerns to various managers through today only one called me back advised nothing more can be done and she will call me on Monday to make sure payment is sent. I expressed my concerns about the customer service I have received throughout the whole process and I will making relevant complaints the duration of this weekend and posting on social media the complaint I have as its appalling. I have a list of call handlers names, I have spoken to on various occasions and each one having to explain my situation. I asked for a copy of all transcripts and communication I have had with the company since last Thursday emailed to me in writhing as I am really unhappy with the service that's been provided!!! I put a deposit down on a car to pay remaining balance this afternoon with my settlement figure which I didn't receive so I have lost out in more money thought the inconvenience of this company!!!!!!!!!.

Overall poor service though provide a lower quote to get the business. Charge a fortune to add a add-on car even though it is temporary for a month but still charged premium rate :(

I wasnt aware i had an excess of 75 pounds to pay when my windscreen was criminally damaged. And i cerrainly wasnt aware that i had to pay the workers upfront!!
