What a joke of a company. Make changes to your policy after the initial quote, take the agreed amount. Then immediately prior to the start date change the premium increased by circa 30%, due to them moving underwitters and using out of date information. They don't inform you until after the policy starts, demand more money then charge a fortune to cancel. Misleading communication and misrepresentation of the highest order, due diligence is a foreign concept to them. Staff are under trained and unwilling to help. Can not follow clear written instructions and do not action legitimate customer instructions. No customer service or customer care. If they can't do the easy bit right, I would not trust them if I ever had to claim.OneCall better level of cover and cheaper.

I wouldn't go anywhere near these people if u want to keep your money they don't help in any way only thing they want is your money they don't even want to discuss any situation u talking about on phone or email stay away and keep your own money

Got renewal for £153, last year £66, full NCD, no reason & no change in anything, phoned, lady said that's the best we can do. I was with them for 10 years, great customer service eh. Moved it elsewhere, MCN compare came up with many quotes of £70 - £80. Devitts are only brokers so have access to the same underwriters as all the other brokers. Maybe it's an ageism, I'm now 74, not sure when ageism comes into play with brokers.

Avoid this company at all costs. Took my money then said I couldn't use my NCB, Called them they said no I can use my NCB its fine Then gone 9pm on a Sunday night they cancel my insurance because I sold a vehicle, I never cancelled it and never sold the vehicle, they tried to refund me 1/8th of the money they took from me not 3 days earlier. Avoid these clowns

This company has very poor customer care. I have used Devitt insurance for the last 4/5 years for insuring different bikes I have had. I am over 50 so they are toys when sun is out so very low risk at 1000 miles a year. I have just recently sold my last bike where I also recommended devitt to new owner which they have used. Last week I receive an email informing me that I owe £33.71 for cancelling my policy which is over 2 months direct debits worth and they are threatening legal action which will affect my credit score because the card they hold on file for me to take payment has expired and I must make payment within 2 weeks. They have also written to me as well just in case I don't read my emails. I have paid them now via their website and will never use their services again. They have no respect for paying loyal customers and highly recommend using other insurance brokers unless you like being treated as a criminal if you sell your motorcycle. Be very AWARE👎👎👎

The people are thieves! They took my deposit and two months and they canceled my insurance! Even paid a month I wasn't even insured! They are absolute thieves and will spread the word and report to FCA!

Unable to contact them on the phone, on hold for hours at a time and being cut off for over a 7 day period while i was unwell, i wrote to them via Facebook messanger trying to cancel my policy, they later called after i messaged them on facebook and they hung up before i had chance to answer, then they text messaged me and asked me to contact them again on the number you can't get through on?? They then sent me a really nasty threatening letter and email with cancellation notice and fees more than the original policy cost. which i contested. I cancelled my direct debit with them in the hope they would contact me as i still could not get through on the phone to them. Then they ileagally took the money from my account without my consent,. You have robbed me, give my money back..... The worst experience in over 30 years of being insured. Stay well clear of Devitt.

Utterly useless. Just avoid them seriously. Tried calling customer services today for the first time ever to make a policy amendment, been on hold 52 mins and counting. Called the quote line on my other phone and spoke to someone within two minutes who has kindly put me through to the back of the other queue. Inadequately staffed obviously.

Trying to renew my insurance (£544), on hold for 25 minutes and then they hang up the call. What a bunch of jokers, just stay away seriously not worth the hassle.

They NEVER, EVER answer the phone on ANY of their phone numbers - they don’t respond to emails. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

I used to have an amazing life and credit score but that changed last year when I couldn't pay at once, the entire balance of my accumulated medical bill. Although I set up a payment plan with the collections agency but the debt continued to crumple my credit score even as I kept paying it. I thank BoostmyCredIT @ FastservIce dot Com, a reputable credit specialist I found on Quora who helped in clearing the situation and restoring my credit back to its previous high credit score. Words ain't just enough.

In the social media era of today, your online reputation is forever. Unfortunately, mugshots can be humiliating, even at the cost of your life, because they imply that the portrayed individual is associated with some sort of criminal act even if you were eventually found innocent. This was the case of my godson and we haven't been happier that we heed to every instruction given to us by a referred specialist via ; JERRYfixesIt @ cyberserViCES . Com. I'd be lying if I say it was easy but he successfully erased every one of them and that is all that matters. My family appreciates this, Jerry

No I would never ever use this insurance again uter theives my lad insured a moped with them but it brock after 3 days itched to ring debit but held in a queue then phone hung up after 45 mins rang again same so I emailed them to swap policy to another motorcycle but no reply this was on 13 April 2022 I am still tying to get intouch with them but it seems impossible they take your money and then you can't get hold to speak to to swap insurance as I result I had to insure the bike with another company and sent a email To debit to cancel my policy as I had 14 days cooling of period so I had cover with debit for 2 or3 days they took a ,£70.00 pound instalment now they are saying that I ow them another £119.00 to cancel to policy taking the insurance for 3 days to near£200.00 pounds into is now 19 May and have still not had a email back would never use them stay well clear. You have been warned

Awful...I told them not to auto-renew and they sent me the insurance and charge. Trying to contact them for 3 days......KEEP AWAY...THESE GUYS ARE GENUINE CON ARTISTS.

I’ve been with Devitts for 3 years on auto renewal because they are reasonably priced, and I’ve never had any issues with them. I spent almost 2 hours on hold to get through to an operator. I’ve just had to cancel my insurance as I have sold my bike. My annual premium was £117, and I’ve just been charged £70 to cancel 3 months into the year. Seems a bit excessive to charge so much, more than 60% of my premium to leave after 3 years loyalty. Daylight robbery.
