I’d not recommend Allianz to anyone. I reporter an incident caused by the airline that cause my trip to delay by 9 hours and I had to make multiple international calls to get the new tickets. The customer service was not friendly, professional and told me it’s not covered even it’s the airlines problem. They basically took the money and don’t do anything. I’ve been using them for a while for all my trips and that’s the first time i called for a claim. Do not waste money on this company.

I would like to share my opinion regarding the insurance claim I filed two years ago after being robbed during our vacation in Italy. We stayed in Vatican City for one night, and upon our return, we discovered that our car windows were smashed, and all our luggage, electronic devices, laptop, cameras, and clothing were stolen. It was a devastating shock for us. We immediately filed a claim with our insurance company, Allianz, but to date, we have not received any compensation. The claims process has been incredibly frustrating. Firstly, after submitting additional documents, it seems someone reviewed them, as we were asked why there were two pairs of the same shoes on the receipts. Of course, it's crucial to note that my daughter and I wear different sizes. Today, we received an email requesting the same receipts again, which is absurd as we have already provided them. Where are our documents disappearing to? Furthermore, our son was 16 at the time of the theft, but the claims handler took his date of birth into account and excluded him from the policy. This decision is utterly baffling. Finally, upon reviewing the policy after two years, it turns out it does not cover high-value items such as laptops, watches, or GoPro cameras. What does this insurance company offer its clients? I urge you to consider these facts carefully. I hope my experience helps others avoid this company .

Horrible insurance company...all they want to do is rip you off...excessively expensive...no human to talk to except when you have claim...rubbish cancellation policy. Very arrogant terms and conditions...like giving you an absolutely ridiculous renewal price and tell you not to bother to call them to discuss it. Just run away from this company...it is the worst of all

I first raised a complaint with Allianz in December regarding the shocking service and damage caused by their emergency plumber over a series of visits to my 82 year old mum's home. The service was appalling and my mum was traumatised. On 14th February they agreed to reimburse the excesses that my mum had to pay due to their incompetence and asked for her bank details. Despite chasing them on numerous occasions now, all that I receive is the same email saying thank you, we will get back to you. I have tried phoning and spent hours on hold and I have also contacted their complaints email again. I must now go through the ombudsman. This is, without doubt, a dishonest way to run a business and they should be ashamed. I honestly encourage anyone thinking of using their home emergency service to look elsewhere.

First what are they actually good at? Collecting premiums must be their forte they brag about on their corporate website next they are superb at denying valid insurance claims. They will even make material changed to a policy while it's in force to evade a genuine claim. They are brilliant at being deceitful and dishonest. Do not understand any circumstances insure with this company. You pay the premium AND carry the risk. My claim was for relatively minor damage to see me STEEL road wheels. The moron who inspected the car decided they were alloy and disallowed the claim. How can you mistake a steel wheel for an alloy wheel? The claim was disallowed because they said I had modified the vehicle fitting alloy wheels, I had not. There was no appeal. These people are crooks keep well away. I have not had another claim since then, 7 years ago, and in that time they have lost over £4000 in premiums, long may that continue. (The claim was £90).

I feel compelled to share my experience with an insurance company as a cautionary tale. Please heed my words: do not purchase a policy from this insurer. They are unprofessional and dishonest. Despite our payments, they have demonstrated incompetence and a complete disregard for resolving our issues. It's baffling to me what we, as clients, are actually paying for and how the individuals within the company are compensated. For the past two years, we have been fighting for compensation following a theft during our vacation in Rome. Almost everything was stolen from us – laptops, cameras, clothes – leaving us devastated. The items lost amounted to thousands of pounds. While we understand that insurance typically doesn't cover the full value, the legal loopholes they exploit are unjust. They are obligated to provide a fair payout, yet they continuously delay and request documents from us even after two years have passed. It's absurd and implies a lack of attention to our case. Furthermore, expecting us to produce receipts for items we've owned for years is unreasonable. Who anticipates theft in broad daylight during a vacation? This incident not only caused financial strain but also shattered our trust in such companies. I implore you, do not engage with this insurer. Hopefully, someone will hold them accountable in the future, but until then, they remain deceitful.

Never again and if a company I want to deal with offers it I wont deal with them either. Needed to cancel a trip well in advance and gave all the paper work they required and then the stall procedure starts and seriously its exactly that. I am totally disgusted that this company can carry on business this way . They 100% know exactly what they are doing and it needs to be looked into seriously!

Delta airline ticket agents walked off the job and left customers stranded. I missed my flight as a result and lost a hold day. I had to get on another flight the following day. I filled a claim and my claim was denied. This is unacceptable. I should have been compensated.

Very poor. I would not recommend anyone to use this. It is a scam. You pay extra for the insurance and they keep your money. My family and I are on a strict budget and save to make a trip to our family every year and this one time we decide to change our trip plans to travel instead of fly, they deny my claim to receive a full refund. That is my hard earn money I spent. I cancelled in a timely manner and was patient with their horrible response time and customer service. This is unfair and unjust. I am now down 1500.00 along with the crappy 200 spent for this insurance. Avoid this company at all cost they just take and hold your money hostage and do not fight for the hard working people. Prejudice and unjust company

Avoid like the plague!! No idea why but every year they try to set a direct debit up, every year I cancel and complain! This year I logged and official complaint, after 2 months someone emailed me apologising, offering a refund of MY money and a goodwill gesture, emailed back to say i wouldn't accept then nothing again gor a month! Call centre just hang up on me when i call so looks like it's the ombudsman for these clowns!

Finally after untold hours of unanswered telephone calls and emails, rude abrupt unprofessional staff, we got what we was due! After 3 and a half months, we got the ombudsman involved , they certainly done the trick, thank you!

Like we all know this company is a scam. Don't give them more success with stealing money from customers. They easily accept deposit, provided that you never ever request any withdrawal. I have saved documentation of their scam and can provide with pictures of dashboard, withdrawal requests and chat logs. Coming in contact with RESUC ORG saved me from depression as I had 5BTC stolen my savings, they have great cryptographers and attorneys whom assited with my complaint with zero stress compared to others site. With a nice site interface they are the best a reliable company that acted swiftly to retrieve my money from them. Resuc , Org

Chose another travel insurance company, there compunction skill are useless , my brother was intensive care in India , so I flew out to bring him home , they didn’t even send anyone out to access him , they had a agent out there ,but asked us to ask him questions as he wasn’t getting back to them . Due to this he go worse and died . So I wouldn’t want u to go through what I did . They don’t deserve to be travel insurance providers
