“ABSOLUTELY NOT FINE. JUST FOUND THERE IS MISTAKES DONE IN MY SURNAME, IN MY DRIVING LICENCE NUMBER. ALSO YOU ENTERED A SALOON CAR 5 SEATS, NOT AN MPV 7 SEATER AND NOW WANT TO TAKE EXTRA MONEY JUST BECAUSE YOU PROVIDE WRONG PRICES TO ME. WHO IS THAT FAULT?YOU GUYS WILL 100 PERCENT SAY MINE, BECAUSE THE ONLY THING YOU WANT THATS THE MONEY TO BE TRANSFERED FROM MY ACCOUNT. YOU ARE THE INSURANCE COMPANY WHO MUST HELP ME TO CHECK IF ALL DONE RIGHT, BUT LIKE I SEE YOU JUST DONT CARE. NOTHING PERSONAL JUST A BUSINESS YES? SORRY LAST REVIEW WAS WRONG. THAT ONE IS RIGHT.”

“My cab insurance keeps going up from 215 then 231 now this month is 325 even though I had 1 non fault accident and 2 reports still pending and I need to deal with it”

“When I called for renewal it’s giving me price for £265 on the phone but I have done before £242 and when I called for hotline they give me price which was £242 I really don’t know understand why was saying on the phone different price it’s really weird and when I spoke on the phone first time today she was really rude”

“AVOID got quote 1800 for my car which am happy to pay as I have only just passed my test then when verified gone up to 2580 scam and now they won't return my deposit shocking AVOID”

“As with everyone else here, they took our money - over £1,700 in this case - and cancelled our policy without letting us know or refunding us. Basically a massive scam; I dread to think how much interest they earn off un-refunded cancellations. AVOID!”

“Please, do not go near this company. Acorn is a rip off insurance company. Unlike other insurance companies, Acorn do not insure you immediately, or sends you a certificate of insurance rather they would send you an email that they would contact you in 6 working days to validate your details before your insurance starts with them. They would ask you to contact DVLA and obtain your digital drivers licence information and upload same to them, and on the event that you cancel your insurance policy with them even on the first day, they take away 86% of you deposit which you have already paid. Supposing you paid £150.00 deposit they would only refund about £63.00 to you and keep the rest. Their terms and condition twist vital information in order to defraud unsuspecting buyers. They are unfair and opportunist traders. The moment you sign up with them you are at their mercy. If you are looking for a reliable and thrust worthy car insurance company, then Acorn is not the one. Please, stay away from them.”
