“This company was a pleasure to deal with. The job started on the day they said it would and was completed within the time estimate. The team working on it was really diligent and tidy. Inevitably small issues crop up but the company was really serious about resolving things quickly and fairly. The room is great. It feels really comfortable and good quality”

“Garden Spaces were thoroughly professional throughout the time of our build. Where build delays and issues occurred they were helpful and responsive to queries and notifications to the issues once notified. The build quality is excellent and the available options were made clear in the initial pitch, with the sales manager responsive to required changes before and during the build. The various build teams were very efficient and active in responding to questions during construction.”

“My experience with Garden Spaces has not been good. They do not accept their mistakes or honour their guarantees. My latest issue is that they tell me a bifold door that will not open is just a maintenance issue and whilst they will Help me with it they can do no more than get to me when they are “ passing “. This is after 5 years of trying to get them to fix it. It has never worked correctly. How can it be right that the bifold door won’t open has never opened properly and Garden spaces refuse to fix it ?”

We have returned to Mr. Macdonald some time ago, and totally stripped back the cladding, re-applied cement particle boards, and then re-rendered the entire building with our much improved 3 layer render system. We have also refitted the bifolding doors, so they are working seamlessly. Unfortunately it took us longer than anticipated to effect these repairs/maintenance works mainly due to Covid pressures, even though they did not exceed allowances as detailed in NSBC guidelines or where outside of published warranty terms. Mr Macdonald promised to remove the negative Review if we under took these significant works but post completion he has subsequently reneged on his promise. I guess you just can't please all the people, all of the time - despite best intentions. We hope Mr Macdonald and his wife get years of enjoyment from their Garden Space. Roger Hedges Director

“What an amazing experience from start to finish. From the planning stage with their designer Caleb to the build with Jakob and his team to the constant and efficient dialogue with the project manager Jana, the service was amazing throughout. The build itself only just over 2 weeks from start to finish and we're very pleased with the final result. Any minor issues along the way were flagged immediately and resolved as quickly as possible. Even a minor issue with a piece of cladding a couple of months after completion was fixed as quickly as possible. Very highly recommended!”

“Fantastic from start to finish. My designer (Matt) worked with me for months to design the building and was incredibly patient with all my questions and multiple changes. Everything was incredibly well planned and transparent. I was informed all the way through the process. When it came to build, the builders were again incredibly organised and helpful and respectful, but so fast! They put it up in a week, and that was during the winter storms! The building looks fantastic and is very practical. Its really warm and in the winter so I only need to put the heater on for about an hour a day. All the materials are top notch quality. They are not the cheapest company out there, but spending a little more for the service and quality is definitely worth it. Its important to point out the building has proper screwpile foundations and warranty, unlike many others on the market.”

“We we’re very pleased with the initial installation but follow up support has been a pain - issues raised since the build has always taken a long time to resolve and we’re fundamental problems such as trims falling off, doors not closing etc . The initial ones reported after the build in 2014 have been rectified in 2015 but I have now been waiting since Apr 2019 for a subsidence issue and dangerous roof trims falling off … understand that covid hasn’t helped but this was reported way before covid. I started recieving admin responses from Jan this year assuring me it is being scheduled but I am still waiting! Not great after care…”

“Garden studio built in 2017 - but the floor is now failing and needs major repairs and upgrading. First notified them about the problem in August 2021 and despite agreeing a compromise solution and shared costs re the guarantee/upgraded specification - (although I maintain that not enough care was taken with my requirements when originally commissioned) - I am finding it extremely difficult to get them to arrange a firm date to fix this problem. I was promised a return telephone call today - and of course it never came. It is a shame because the studio itself is good - but beware of ever having to get them to take their after care responsibilities seriously.”

“Excellent plan, design and build process. Made things stress free until at the end of build we had a couple of minor issues and the communication and resolution could have been smoother. This is the only reason for not giving 5 stars as the garden room is exactly as desired.”

“Impresssive from start to finish. The designer soon understood what we were looking for, offering great suggestions and a comprehensive design with the quotation. On-site teams were professional, talented craftsmen who worked tirelessly and diligently. The Project Manager kept us informed and managed the detail of deliveries and minor changes. We are left with a high-quality garden office that really fits into our rural environment.”

I use it every morning and even during very cold days the small heater is enough to warm it to an ambient temperature. From the measuring up through to the build being completed all the team have been really helpful (including getting gold handles for the doors). My thanks to the team.”

“Right from the initial contact to the end of the build I simply cannot fault Garden Spaces. The initial plans and site visits were completed quickly and efficiently and the final design was exactly as I wanted for my garden music studio. “We had a 20 square metre garden room constructed. The outcome is stunning. The building was done on time and to the original quote. Garden Spaces are a very professional outfit and guide you through the process from start to finish. Their designers are very experienced and helpful. There is no sales pitch. The whole experience was well above initial expectations and Garden Spaces made the build unintrusive for us. The onsite team were professional like a well-oiled machine. They were low maintenance and very pleasant to have around. They were highly skilled, punctual and hard working. From initial survey through build and customer service, this could not have been better. Garden Spaces are very thorough and very good at what they do.”
