Shed has holes in it and they said this was acceptable.... Horrible to put together, parts did not fit together well. A friend has similar issues DO NOT BUY

Unfortunately I'm another unhappy and out pocket customer who sadly purchase BillyOh products. It been 3 months now between seller, myself and amazon to send all purchase back. Seller always refused to refund because I reported missing and damaged parts after 30 days when I had time for it and I didn't expect it to be bend, cracked, wrong sizes or missing parts. Amazon authorised to send back for a full refund plus any fee paid by me to send it back. Who can afford pay over £1000 to send back a bulk item weigh over 500kg after spend over £1600 on the summer house? Not many people this days have £1000 spared in the bank. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 states that any goods purchased from a trader should be of satisfactory quality and therefore free from defect and as it was delivered to the customer it is up to the seller to have it collected or pay the costs of return postage. The consumer should not be put out of pocket for faulty goods. So it been a nightmare with all that storage in the garage occupying all of it. Seller keep saying it already passed over 30 days so they not accept it back or collect it from me to full refund. They only did offer parts replacement or partial refund as a gesture of good will. I asked for the replacement parts and over a week nothing decided when it would be sent so I asked a friend joiner to sort these and finish the summer house. Seller refuse to refund these even they would spend lots more with delivery etc so I ended up having extra £200 on top of the summer house costings and in the end the joiner told me the quality of the wood are very concerning how it will be standing after a strong windy day or heavy rains. Trader standers already been contacted because sellers like these shouldn't been in the market rip off their customers with products with falsely items discrived, poor quality, wrong sizes sent, missing parts etc. Other thing, the PDF instructions they sent you will need a degree to find the parts and how to put it together as the parts didn't come with numbers or letters etc. Read all company products reviews in their amazon page and Google other reviews online before purchasing it. Just one word of advice for all future buyers. AVOID.

So i took the dive as i liked the design of the Billyoh Winchester log cabin with its advantages over other suppliers that it was under 2500 mm for regards to no planning needed. I read all reviews before purchase and before laying out the £3700 i spoke to one of the main guys in sales about my concerns with the quality of there supplied cabins and terrible reviews i had read, he assured me they were just "Diyer reviews whereas people did not know what they were doing" and there cabins come with no problems apart from the ones that are man made by the customer.I am a carpenter by trade so based on this i had no concerns. Based on this i placed the order with a promised delivery date of Friday 5th May if i placed my order now,to which i did. So firstly the cabin arrived later than the promised date of 5th May. The roof gables supplied with the cabin were the wrong size, all materials packed and banded into various different packs that once opened were soaked with black mould growing and the packing lists inside to check the parts were unreadable. The floor and roof to which i paid an additional premium to upgrade to 19mm thick turned up as a cheaper 4" T+G board not 6" as stated in the parts list, with this there were 2 different batches supplied which varied by 1/4" on widths ( Makes it impossible to match to floor which is in 2 pieces which is a stupid idea, floorboards should be one piece for strength). So because 4" was sent and not 6" i was over 40 pieces short to complete the cabin, these were requested on 22nd may on a 3-5 day turnaround, i did not receive these required parts until some 10 days later due to a "Glitch". This company recommends that this cabin needs to be fully assembled within 1 month of purchase,Ha Ha no chance, good luck with that one it will take you longer to receive All the correct parts. Also not enough roofing felt was sent, 25% of the 44mm timber side walls were split,twisted and looked like driftwood washed up on the beach!!.T +G floor and roof boards had more shakes and knot holes that i have ever seen in timber( Carcuss grade timber). Ok so if you do decide to purchase from this outfit beware of the following- Timber is of cheapest quality available split, twisted, shakes and an abundance of knotts!!!. So enough is enough you ask to speak to a Manager to try and get sense out of the Customer team, Ok so got put through to Carlo( supposed manager he told me) What a load of rubbish he is a glorified Team Leader of the blind leading the blind and did'nt have a clue what he was doing. Then there is the helpful members of the team who are illiterate and who can only reply to your emails by there email template!!! just sending you round and round in circles, these monkeys are obviously fed peanuts!!!. The customer service team is useless they are not interested in any problems you have, do not return your calls as promised, over 10 hrs on the phone to rectify all the problems being had, 30+ emails, passed from pillar to post. I had enough and decided to go direct to the CEO of the company for a resolve ( Details of the this companies CEO are readily available i.e Email and direct contact phone number just Google CEO of Garden BuildingsDirect/Billyoh. I had no response whatsoever but something must of worked because within 4 hours a i had a delivery date for all missing parts i had been waiting for and chasing for the past 10 days, Thanks , shame an email to the CEO was needed ,just backs up the comments about the useless, absolute hopelessness of the Non Existent Customer Service Team. So to round up this worst experience ever from an online supplier bear in mind the following that the CEO of this company used to be part of family who owned another Log Cabin company until sold by other family members to an outsider,their Log Cabins they sell there quality is far more superior. There policy seems to be to send out any old sh** even if wrong then once the customer complains send a another few bits over the course of the month!!! So to round it up if you do make a big mistake of using these clowns beware and get the following ready- Have plenty of wood coloured filler to fill all knot holes, shakes and splits, make sure you have a sander with copious amounts of 80 grit sandpaper to sand the fur off the carcuss timber which should be planed as well as the deep scratches and black mould. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED YOU WILL BE SORRY!!! Don’t be scammed just read all the reviews for cabins/sheds sold. 99% of the 3* plus reviews are for other items apart from garden buildings!!!!!Also check out All the reviews on Billyoh !!!! Dont be duped!!!!!*************************

I only wish I'd read the reviews before buying one of their greenhouses. This is the first time in my life I have had to return such a poor quality item. I had to dismantle after a day as nothing would fit together well. It's been a bit windy of late and that very same day, some of the polycarbonate panels blew out within the hour! Poor instructions for anyone not savvy, bad design and shocking quality. They would not accept a return, even though I packaged it up and offered to pay.

Unsure how long this will stay up for, as Garden Buildings Direct have a habit of blocking, removing or hiding negative feedback on social media platforms. GBD advertise their products and customer service as “ high quality”, “robust”, “durable” and “long lasting” - the complete opposite to what you WILL receive if you purchase from these cowboys. Unfortunately I have fallen victim to these rogue traders as well as many others by the reviews on Trustpilot and Google Reviews. Once this company receive your money and (if ever) you receive your order, say goodbye to any aftercare. They are NOT interested. You’ll see below the type of quality summerhouse I have received - unsafe, not durable, not high quality and far from robust. They have ignored me on multiple occasions when I have complained to them but today they deemed the summerhouse I received as acceptable, satisfactory quality and are taking 0 accountability for their shoddy product or (lack of) customer service. This has cost me financially, thousands already (in paying for labour, materials, and the actual product) and I will need to spend further money to “fix” and be able to use the summerhouse. My bank are investigating and I am currently going through Trading Standards, Watchdog and potentially down a legal route where required. I am also aware of others in the same situation as myself, which I am in talks with. Kybotech BillyOh @GardenBuildingsDirect - take accountability for your actions!!!

An absolute disgrace of a company any product,had my summerhouse for 3 months and still having issues.Carpentery looks like it been done with a knife and fork some of the timber looks like it has been chewed up and spat out.The door frame was to short and windows /doors not square, what a waste of 2k, and still waiting for a response to complaints

If you want shocking service; a long and frustrating process to try and get any sense out of them after paying your money; customer service that has to score less than ZERO; and the delivery of the wrong order.... then this company has it all. DO NOT TOUCH THEM WITH A BARGE POST. It says it all when they have a dedicated CANCELLATIONS TEAM...Most definitely the worst experience with an ion-line order that I have ever had!

This has been the worst retail experience of my life and I'm 62. I thought everything was going to be great, as they SEEMED so helpful. But then they got my money. We agreed delivery would be on the 18th April, as I was out of the Country before that. On the 13th, with no warning, they dumped the playhouse on Next door's drive and drove off. My son-in-law lost a mornings work sorting it out. By the time I got home everything was drenched. We've since found out that there are loads of bits missing. One important part, is for a completely different building. They haven't responded to any of my phone calls, or the 10 messages I've sent them. At the moment I'm nearly a grand out of pocket. I'm currently trying to get my money back through my credit card. Don't waste your money with these Cowboys.

She’d had not arrived 6 weeks after ordering still waiting. They keep shifting delivery date. Waited in all afternoon only to receive an email saying it would be delivered next week now dreading receiving it after seeing these reviews.

Do not buy from this company. My shed has leaked from day 1. The only thing worse than their buildings is their customer service. What ever you do, do not buy one of the buildings.

I bought a workshop from this company and I honestly couldn’t name a good thing about the purchase. Both the product and the company have been absolutely atrocious. They Advertised 4-6 weeks lead time on their site, sent it 3 1/2 weeks late, told me it would arrive on a particular date, I took a day unpaid from work to be in only for it not to arrive at all with no correspondence, the workshop was delivered a week later only for parts to be missing and broken. One of which being a roll of felt which is a massive part in keeping the workshop dry and protected, I reported the missing part, 3 weeks passed and I still didn’t receive it. I have since had to buy a roll from screwfix, Every single part of the workshop has needed to be rectified due to the absolute shocking, shoddy awful standard of product I have received. The floor is the wrong size, every single section of wood on every single panel has needed trimming due to overhanging pieces, all the wall sections are made to different sizes, sections of the roof have been sent in different sizes, the felt tears so easily that when nailing it the felt splits, sections of the walls have been put together using split pieces, nails have been driven through joining panels creating a split, I have wall sections with parts of the T+G missing completely, every single wall section has been made with not enough over hang on the bottom to cover the Edge of the floor. I have had to spend hundreds of pounds rectifying everything, This is the worse item I have ever bought and it is the worse customer service I have ever recieved. I have reported the issues to them with pictures on email and have asked for compensation only for them to say it is not something they offer with no solution other than for them to send replacement parts, if I chose this option I would need a completely new workshop! They do not want to accept responsibility for anything they have sent. They are an Absolutely disgusting company and I hope they go out of business so they can’t con and rob anymore people out of hundreds of pounds.

Absolutely fraudsters! Extremely poor quality aged and they con you out of money by sending you the wrong shed then asking you to pay delivery charges! They need to be shut down! I can’t believe I didn’t notice these reviews before I ordered. Would have saved me a lot of stress. You have severely negatively impacted my mental health for a few £’s!

Mark & Son Gardening Service I placed a order with them on 15th August 2022 for a customer order number GBD1850519 FOR £1485 and arranged for delivery to be on 5th / 6th September as there was no storage area before then to leave the shed. As it turned out after several phone calls to the staff which were not helpful then bemanding to speak to the management thinking I might get some answers and help sorry to say they were less helpful and told I was going to have to wait upto another 2 weeks for delivery and they don't give discounts or reimbursements for inconvenience caused to families when shed turned up with 2 poor English speaking persons it was like a jigsaw they were that many parts wrapped in plastic with tonnes of staples but through it delivered without any instructions on putting the shed together lost few hours sorting which parts are for were and so on completion of the shed the windows fit very poorly and doors have a cap and some of the timber have knots in them and some parts are twisted out of shape which we had to overcome now with this first heavy down fail of rain my customer is informing me the doors are letting a lot of rain in and are sealed very poorly around they doors. On hindsight I and the customer should have read a few of your very poor reviews as there is a lot of people in the same situation. Would not recommend this company at all very poor quilty attitude once they have your money the "DON'T CARE" I await there response to this issue

It is a great pity that I had ever heard of this company, Communication was awful. Shed was and still is awful. Parts not fitting correctly. I have had to get someone else out after the initial instal to try and correct faults but more and more keep showing up every time I look at it. I have been told today they are willing to replace any faulty parts but that means as far as I am concerned a whole new shed. Too anyone thinking of buying of this company PLEASE DO NOT.

Similarly to another customer, they don't take ownership. Wood is poor quality with nails not where they should be. Delivered whilst I was holiday despite changing the date. Generic instructions that apply to three different sheds. Parts missing or wood split. 48 nails supplied to attach three sheets of felt, totally inadequate. Side panels two pieces that need to be screwed together so not very secure. Gap in the doors should be 4mm but almost 16mm so had to construct a door jamb to cover the gap. I wouldn't recommend this firm to anyone!

Initially things looked great, the product looked good and included a full list of what was included, sadly the list was incorrect and the company does not take any ownership for this and we are left with parts missing. The wood that did turn up is not great, many pieces split, stained and bent. The instructions are not great and the delivery time was months rather than weeks with no contact from the company. I would sadly never use again and would never recommend.

Absolutely shocking quality of a kids playhouse. The finish is entirely unsuitable for children, it will take hours of sanding to make it fit for children. The instructions are vague at best, the finish of the wood is appalling and none of the panels fit together properly. I could’ve made better myself using old pallets if I had the time, but I don’t have that luxury hence using this regrettable outfit. A total rip off, the same money or slightly more spent in B&Q would get you a far superior product.

The BillyO Picton summerhouse disaster! I used GBD to buy a summerhouse as the product I purchased before that was a metal storage shed was ok. Sadly a very bad decision!! I was given an estimated delivery date and arranged for contractors to assemble after that date. I was then sent another date and if not convenient then use My Account on their website to change it, which I did. Unbelievably a few days later I received an emai to say that it had been loaded and was on the truck ready for delivery the next day!! I wasnt in so left notes for driver to call and where to leave it. I was most annoyed. The delivery driver did call and I explained where it should be left and it was done as directed. The next email told me that delivery had occurred, and I replied telling them that I was furious that it arrived 4 days early than their original date and 11 days before I requested on the online portal! I got a reply to say the driver had noticed some missing and damaged parts and could I verify this. I checked the obvious larger parts, doors, walls etc but tucked underneath was a bag with cloaking strips and lots of other parts that I had no idea of their purpose and also I was unable to move things on my own as I am a pensioner and some parts were too awkward for me to move alone. My initial response was that all looked normal but they would have to wait 2 weeks until the contractors came to erect it. I was sent a list of part nos most of which didnt correspond to anything I could find, so not a lot of use. As the parts where outside I was able to get help to separate and stack them so I could Ronseal the outer surface because I was concerned about weather damage. Whilst painting various parts I did notice that there were cracks here and there and that the quality wasnt fantastic but without anything to compare to I put it down to "thats how it is". The fellas came to erect it and it simply would not fit true and square. Nothing fitted together cleanly, gaps everywhere. Most of the glazing strips were warped, the cloaking strips looked like bows, banana shaped. The boards didnt line up horizontally and there was no sign of a carpentry joint anywhere, it looked if a 9 year old had knocked it up. Then I discovered that the panels in the window parts had been nailed on upside down with the groove uppermost so the rain could just flow into it and rot it. After 8 hours we gave up and left it partially erected, and then the fun started!! Battle commenced! I tried to call them...no luck, never ever got to speak to anyone. So I complained on email several times and got the standard response, send photos of damaged parts and they will replace etc etc. I didnt want to replace it or any part of it as it wasn't fit for purpose! I called Citizens advice and they told me what to do including using their template to write official letter about a product that "Wasn't fit for purpose". It is delivered by a company called Kybotech and I googled them and this is the umbrella company for GBD and BillyO and more. The CEO is Edward C Walton and you can google him to get his Kybotech email address, and BCC him into all correspondence regarding getting a refund. I used a credit card and was still within the 120 days time limit so you need to contact the Fraud team and ask about a section 75 to claim the money back. This worked and then I was receiving emails from the chief customer services manager who eventually conceded that I was due a refund but only on the original purchase, not the cost wasted on trying to erect or the additional expenses incurred for roof felt. They did say it was invalid as I had treated it with ronseal but my argument was they delivered 2 weeks early! It was not possible to put up photos online to their web page but I attached numerous ones by email so there was no doubt about the shoddy manufacture of this particular summerhouse. The moral is ...keep at it and if you have a valid case then go to the top of the tree....Mr Walton, as this is not good for street cred. I have to say that their CS Mgr was very helpful in the end and I have just received my refund. Yippee! Good luck.
