“Beautiful leather shoes unfortunately had to return as not wide enough”

“Great service getting the boots to me. However, why oh why would you send them in packaging with the company name plastered all over. At this time of year, or any actually would you do this? That's my Wife's Christmas present surprise ruined as she took the parcel in. To what benefit do you do this, advertising? Who see's it other than the postman! Thanks.”

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that your Christmas present was spoiled by the packaging. All of our orders are sent using a bag wih our name on unless specified that you do not want us to do this. You can ask for a plain wrapper at the point of ordering by using the customer comments if you wish. Any gift wrapped items are also sent in plain packaging. “Stylish and comfortable. The only problem I have, they are slightly tight in an instep. Hope they will give a bit. Happy overall.”

“Large fitting. I'm a size 6 UK, 39 Europe. I probably could have done with size 5.5 as I had to buy heel inserts. Not sure I'd buy Gabor shoes online again. They are comfortable but quite expensive as all artificial components.”

“Good quality - they last years, 3 at least. Good summer and winter as long as not wet and muddy. They look smart. Had to wait some months for the style I wanted to be available but was notified as soon as they were and I had what I wanted in days. All good”

“Everything with my purchase was fine and Gabor shoes are of Good quality. However, after the shoes on I realised that I should have ordered size 4.1/2 instead of size 5, but the return process seemed to be so troublesome, that I preferred to keep the wrong size instead of asking for a change of size. For this reason, my only request for future purchases would be to make returns easier, because with buying shoes online there is always the risk that they may not fit perfectly well. E.g. if I could return the shoes back to a certain "POINT" in Manchester, instead of having to send them back by post, and then, after you had received the shoes and confirmed that they are unworn, to send me back the right size, that would very helpful and very welcome.”

We offer free standard UK delivery however do ask for returns to be paid for by the customer and you can of course use the following methods: Collectplus-This is £4.49 for up to 10kg and offers a tracked service, you can also pop the item to a local drop off point which is then shipped to us here. Post Office-There will be may ways to return however we do recommend a tracked service for your reassurance. There are other couriers available and also you are able to return to a Charles Clinkard store. We offer an excellent return period of 35 days and as long as the item is unworn and in the original packaging we can of course issue a refund or an exchange We appreciate the suggestion you have made regarding our returns and will ensure this is passed forward. “On confirmation of order I was told Gabor’s delivery partner (Royal Mail) would email me but they didn’t so I had to contact Gabor who promptly found out when my goods would be delivered.”

“My shoe size is 2.5 and creates a huge problem. Gabor supplies and I am always delighted. My GABOR Boots order arrived promptly, with box undamaged. I would definitely order again.”

“Prompt service and customer online chat/help was good. I would have given very good had it not been for the fact that the wrong colour boots were delivered. However, that was quickly resolved with a pre-paid return label being emailed to me. Overall I was impressed.”
