“Long boots XL did not realise how wide they were I could have put both legs in one boot. I gave returned these and it cost me £12 to do so on that basis I wouldn’t buy again from the site. There is only 1 shop in Glasgow and it’s in the west end which is too far out just for a return. I am waiting on my refund it’s been 3 days so it’s still within the 72 hours”

You can return up to 10KG through collect + for as little £4.49. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you need information regarding a return. “Size 3 Dublin Ankle boots Black Been searching for nice looking winter ankle boots for work for months. I love the beautiful style of these boots. The shape style is fantastic. I was so excited and looking forward to receiving and wearing them. Very quick delivery. Disappointed the sole is not as thick as it looks and boots not as warm and comfy. Very disappointed with these boots. Sadly will have to return them. Huge shame, just when I found the perfect looking boots. Oh well.”

You may find that a half size larger gives you the extra area within the shoe that you need. Many of our customers use this method and find that it works well for them. Thank you for your review. We do deliver free of charge, orders take a maximum of 6 working days to be delivered. Your order was placed with an express delivery request so was prioritised above others and sent on a speedier service for you. We do have a link on our website where for the reduced cost of £4.49 you can send back up to 10 kilo in one package so you can return several items at once. “My shoes were delivered by post. I was surprised, as I have previously always had a premium service from Gabor (this was my fourth puchase) that the product had clearly been sent out to someone else previously. The tissue paper was all scrunched up and the box was battered. I have decided to keep the shoes but have rather been put off future purchases even though I love the comfort of the product itself”

“I love these shoes. The height, style, colour, everything about them is absolutely perfect for my business and leisure trip around the US. APART FROM......I'm sorry but they are just NOT comfortable, AT ALL. I know they've had such good reviews from other ladies, but for the price, I expected to be walking on memory foam clouds - and the amount of walking I'd be doing, they would have to be. I found them hard, inflexible and heavy. They will not be coming with me and I'm absolutely gutted actually. Very disappointed.”

Thank you for your review. We are so sorry that you found this shoe to be uncomfortable. There should be a removable insole above the insole that is already within the shoes, this allows for extra room if you need to take it out, but also cushions the base of the shoe, I wonder if this was within the shoes when you tried them? “I have given 3 stars because when I received the boots although the left boot was unworn and wrapped it was obvious that the right boot was a display item which had been tried on several times. The box was battered and the boots were not a cheap item so would have liked them to have looked better. On the plus side they are comfortable and I love the colour.”

“The quality is great but they were rather high up to my knee and that didn't look good. Also, a wider fit would be preferable as I have wide feet. Otherwise, I love Gabor boots for its high quality and comfort.”

“I normally love Gabor shoes and bought these boots as a smart option fir winter. I am normally a 41 so ordered the size 7.5 UK Unfortunately when the boots arrived they were so small I couldn’t even get my foot inside. I did wonder if I had inadvertently order American size but the size on the box said UK 7.5 so I guess they just come up small.”

“I was so sorry but I had to return them Have worn 4.5 G fitting Gabor shoes for at least 25 years. The shoes were not a comfortable fit. Either the Gabor last has changed or my feet. Now I have to find out.”

Thank you for your review. We do deliver free of charge, we pay a courier to deliver to customers, but we do ask customers to cover the return postage. There is a link on our website where for £4.49 you can buy a label and it covers up to 10 kilo allowing you to return several items at this one low cost. Kind regards, Janice - customer services

“The shoes were described as blue, though there was nothing blue in them, very decidedly black. Had to return. The company does not pay the return fee, had to pay.”

Having said that, I can understand that having to return your purchase and pay postage is disappointing. We do get returns back where someone may have ordered 2 for size to choose the best fit for example, and these go back into stock. However these should be checked upon return and again before dispatch. “I bought a pair of boots in XL width which were much too wide, but the L width are barely wide enough. Seems strange.”

Thank you for your review. With the boots, there is a set width on the boots depending on the size. L in thesize you got on this order is 41.3 cm width and XL is 44.3 cm. If you get the shoe half a size smaller, then the shaft width differs, L is 39.3 cm and XL is 42.9 cm. I cannot see what size the L you got was, but if there was a drastic difference, wondered if you may have got the smaller size shoe also? “It's a great shame but Gabor seem to have made the 'wider' shoes narrower. I already own a couple ofof pairs of their wide fit shoes, which are very comfortable, but this is the second pair I have recently tried that whilst classed as 'wide fit', are to narrow. So although they were very pretty, I had to return them.”

“Not sure what to say if I’m honest, bought a pair of trainers back in the summer, so ordered a pair of ankle boots and I have had to send these back twice before the final pair were okay”
