Boots are very comfortable but not of a high quality for the price that I paid. The leather creased very badly after one wear and they looked old very quickly.

I’m a size 7 but I bought size 8 - as I have wide feet 🦶 but your shoes were so small that I couldn’t fit my feet in the shoes! So retuned back to you for a size 9 - Gabor this is a joke size 9 - I have been wearing your shoes for 30 years - then the headache of returning and eating for an exchange or refund is awful - not to mention the money it cost me to post back at no fault of mine

The shoes that you bought are just a standard fitting, you may find that a wider fitting is better for you. Sent seconds on left foot had to return them Gabor shoes are very comfortable but a let down had to call for postage paid

Boots were uncomfortable round heel. Shocked had to pay fir returns.

Thank you for your review. We do deliver free of charge, but as in our terms and conditions, do ask customers to pay for returns. You can send back an item using second class Royal Mail which is keeps cost low and then add tracking which is around 80p more. Also there is a link on our website to Collect + where for the low cost of £4.49 you can return up to 10 kilo, so several pair of shoes can be returned in one package. You can also return orders to any Charles Clinakrd store which will save you the cost of any postage charges. I hope that this information helps for future orders. The boots were lovely and the quality I expected from Gabor. Sadly, they were a bad fit. I was shocked and did not expect the return cost would be so extreme. I sent them via Royal Mail tracking process, this was recommended on your website returns info. I cannot rate my purchase as I`m still disappointed at the cost of returning items back to seller

Thank you for your review. You can send back an item using second class Royal Mail which is keeps cost low and then add tracking which is around 80p more. Unfortunately if you use a next day service signed for service, although the item will arrive 24 hours earlier, this is very expensive and may be what Royal Mail have sold to you. There is a link on our website to Collect + where for the low cost of £4.49 you can return up to 10 kilo, so several pair of shoes can be returned in one package. NOT wide fitting at all. Infact very narrow. They state they are a Gabor 'H' fitting which should equate as an 'E/EE' The seller won't have it though, despite seeing the same complaint on other reviews. They had the cheek to tell me to phone Gabor. Then I had to pay to return them despite them being mis-sold. I won't buy from them again.

Thank you for your review. I have taken a look at the reviews and can see that there is a mixture of comments on these lovely boots. From being very roomy to too tight. As fit is a very personal thing, we understand that a customer does need to try them on for fit, and we offer a full refund if returned within in 52 weeks and are unworn. Many customers will order a half size larger for extra room within the boot. This does not work for everyone, but often it does and makes for a much more comfortable fit. I ordered my regular size but the boots didn’t even come close to fitting, then I had to pay over £10 to return them. Won’t be ordering again.

Thank you for your review. With regard to returns, we do offer a full year so long as an item is unworn, and you can take them back to any Charles Clinakrd store where they will arrange your refund. Alternatively you can post back boots with second class Royal Mail for around £3.50 and pay 80p more from tracking. A next day premium service does cost more. This may be why your postage was higher. There is also a link on our website to collect + where for £4.49 you can get a tracked return label that covers up to 10 kilo so you can return many pairs at one time. Many customers if they need a shoe to be a more roomy fit, get a half size bigger and this gives the extra area within the shoe. It does not work for everyone, but may be worth a try for you. These trainers looked great, just what I was looking for. However, they were so narrow I could barely get my feet into them despite them being my usual Gabor size and apparently being an extra wide fit. I then had to pay £11 return postage for a product that I felt was not as described. So disappointing as I normally love Gabor footwear.

Gabor are deceiving online customers. Some of their boots state 'wide fitting,' but they are definitely NOT. I ordered a pair & I'm an 'E' fitting. I couldn't even get my foot in because they are so narrow. They are supposed to be a German 'H' fitting, which is an English 'E/EE' fitting. I contacted customer service & asked them to pay for return postage because they are misleading customers. They don't want to know. I won't buy from Gabor again.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that this boot does not fit you and will of course refund you once they are returned. The actual Width Fitting of the shoes that you have bought, is not advertised as an E, but as: UK D+ Widest Fitting (Gabor H). You may find that the next size gives you extra area within the boots and may be a better fitting for you. You can take back to a Charles Clinkard store if you wish, they will arrange refund for you. Beware - Charles Clinkard use DPD to make their deliveries. On the first attempt to deliver my order the courier claimed the delivery was rejected. I called the Customer Service Team to ask if my order could be sent by Royal Mail. They ignored my request because DDP tried to deliver again the next day but this time claimed they couldnt find my address. None of the other couriers seem to have a problem. I had to call the Customer Service team again to request my shoes be sent by Royal Mail. Finally, after a great deal of frustration and a week later I have received my shoes. I shall definitely think carefully in future who I order new shoes from. The Shoes are lovely, company selling them need to sort out their delivery service.

Thank you for your review. Your order was sent out with DPD and unfortunately has been relabelled by them to be returned to sender. This was received into our returns department and processed as a return and has now been refunded. Usually when a package is returned like this, it is because delivery was refused, or there was a problem with the address. Very disappointing the black suede boots I ordered were damaged on the outside of both boots had shiny marks near sole area, unfortunately trainers didn’t fit plus these items have cost me £15.45 to return through the Post Office

We are sorry to hear that you have paid £15.45 to return these items. The Post Office has different levels of postage and a second class label would be around £5 for a package of this size, and around 80p more with tracking. Next day and signed for are more expensive. You can purchase a Collect+ label on our website for £4.49 which covers returns up to 10 kilo. This gives you a tracking number so you can see when they arrive, or you can take your order back to any Charles Clinkard store. Alternatively you can use Evri, or Yodel youself arranging a return where you buy the label and they return the item to us. Both of these are a reasonable price service. I never received the shoes. I contacted Charles Clinkard who asked for more specific delivery instructions, which I provided. Was promised the shoes Monday (yesterday). They never arrived and I have just received notification that they have been returned to you! I didn't even get to try them on! Terrible service

After attempting a couple of times, the package was returned to us. I can understand it's disappointing. The stock is still available should you wish to re-purchase via our website. Bought some shoes for my wife, when they arrived we were surprise to find that they were exdisplay. one shoe had faded and you could see that it had been wore. These were advised as new which clearly they weren’t costing £95.00 very poor

It is very difficult to rate the shoes. My first pair was amazing and long-lasting, I attended so many parties and received many compliments. Unfortunately, the last purchase was a disaster. Lovely looking sandals but they last only 2 minutes, one of the straps is unattached from the sole (I'm not sure why it was not glued or sewed properly). I did not expect that for a £100 pair of sandals. I am highly disappointed with the quality, and I am not sure if I will be back again.
