About Furniture World:

Furniture World is a furniture store selling a wide variety, ranging from sofas, beds, living & dining furniture and accessories.

Furniture World was established in 1984 with a small bricks and mortar store in Redruth, Cornwall. Today, Furniture World has 6 stores across Cornwall and Devon, and a reputable online presence.

We sell across many channels that include Amazon and E-bay where our online business has had significant success which is based on quality customer service and fast delivery of stock from our warehouse based in Cornwall.
We have grown from marketplaces to now running a dedicated website that still keeps a 5* customer service at the core of our business.

“i am slightly disabled and the delivery people were just going to leave it outside. They were persuaded to bring it in but left it in the box and i am still trying to get all the wrapping off three days on, utterly deplorable service.”

“I ordered from you in 2020 and one of the side tables I ordered was badly damaged. Rather than complain and have the hassle of sending it back, I fixed it myself so all good. Then this week, out of the blue, you start sending me erroneous order confirmation emails and these silly surveys all over again. I telephoned to query why the erroneous emails and was offered no apology but was just told in a matter of fact way that your systems had been updated???? An odd way to run a business.”

“Disappointing and unhelpful customer service response. My wall was damaged by the deliver men and Furniture World have passed the buck to the courier company. I paid £70 delivery for a bed direct to Furniture World so as the retailer, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, it is their responsibility to rectify this situation, regardless of whether a courier has caused the damage. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 places responsibility with the retailer, Furniture World, as this is who I have a contract with, not a third party, however they are refusing to compensate me and instead telling me I have to go to Panther. For this reason I will not use this company again and will be referring them to trading standards.”

“Initially the wrong size blind was sent, but as soon as I emailed and called the issue was rectified immediately. Incorrect blind collected by courier and correct blind delivered in super quick time and looks fantastic. Very happy with the service. Mistakes happen but this was dealt with apologetically and swiftly so would definitely buy from this company again.”
