About Furniture World:

Furniture World is a furniture store selling a wide variety, ranging from sofas, beds, living & dining furniture and accessories.

Furniture World was established in 1984 with a small bricks and mortar store in Redruth, Cornwall. Today, Furniture World has 6 stores across Cornwall and Devon, and a reputable online presence.

We sell across many channels that include Amazon and E-bay where our online business has had significant success which is based on quality customer service and fast delivery of stock from our warehouse based in Cornwall.
We have grown from marketplaces to now running a dedicated website that still keeps a 5* customer service at the core of our business.

“Ordered 2 tv units, When delivered one was damaged, Informed them to say one was damaged they were picked up the next day, My payment was put back in to my account a few days later. All in all this Company were excellent and very understanding, Thank You.”

“Good customer service, they were able to keep my furniture until required as I had building work to be completed prior to its arrival. They kept me abreast of expected delivery. The delivery company were great and very kindly delivered to the room of my choice in a first floor flat.”

“We have just had a three seat sofa delivered. Perfect time, 08.30 hrs. The two gentlemen who delivered it were excellent. Karl ( hope the spelling is correct) and Andy thank you for the fast and hassle free delivery.”

“Great service in terms of delaying delivery date to suit and excellent support when, unbeknownst to them, the courier kept messing about with when they'd deliver. A really lovely company so much better than some of the larger national furniture retailers I could mention....but won't!”

“The cost of this sofa was the best I could find. They kept me informed of progress with the order. The courier was difficult to deal with to change the delivery date, although the men worked hard on the day. The transaction with Furniture World passed off smoothly and I would use them again.”

Clare – Customers have a duty of care to provide accurate delivery information. We have a notes section on our order form for customers to be able to leave details for delivery. You failed to advise that your apartment was on the 4th floor and that there was only a passenger lift available for the couriers to use. Your sofa was too big to go into the lift and you insisted that the delivery guys carry the sofa to the 4th floor and wait whilst you unpackaged the sofa. The delivery option we offer is to your room of choice based on access. You weren’t upfront with us about this and we explained on the telephone in detail what we could and couldn’t do. You were not charged any extra for the delivery. I’m sorry that you feel this service was only worth a one star review. Our customer service is excellent and we are always happy to help customers that are polite and kind to our staff.

“Booking and payment etc were all fine however you are asked to pay £30 for delivery and that is the most pointless money I have ever spent in my life. Delivery company refused to take the two boxes upstairs or take the cardboard with them (there was lots!) they instead dumped the boxes in the hallway so I couldn’t get through and the front door was blocked open. I had to climb over one to move and as I’m trying to sort it I’m getting badgered for a signature. Literally would never buy from this company if that’s the delivery people they continue to use.”

“The two guys that delivered my La-Z boy arrived earlier than the time slot, really helpful, polite & courteous. They did encounter one problem, due to an error somewhere along the line, they were attempting to deliver it to No. 25 Old Wargrave Road! There is no No. 25 ,had I not been looking out for them, they may have scratched their heads & then have to phone me & one guy it appeared to me, didn't speak English & the other guy's English wasn't good. Other than that, I'm happy with the service provided.”
