“I searched hard for options for a wall-bed - though expensive, Furl stood out for quality and the number of options. It was good to be able to tailor the RAL colour of the bed to match the RAL colour we'd used on adjoining walls and cupboards. I'm still wondering how to fit some small reading lights inside the frame - these would be a great feature to provide. Guests have been very comfortable on the pocket sprung mattress - our friends and relatives are now largely past sleeping on flimsy sofa beds. Thank you.”

“There is no doubt that the storage capacity of the beds is huge, they look good and the finish is good. Customer service was also good. However, I didn't realise that even the smallest model would look enormous in my Georgian bedroom and that they are extremely heavy. They are transported in pieces and assembled on the spot. I dread to think what will happen when I want to move. I doubt anyone will know how to dismantle the bed and it will be impossible to get it down the stairs in one piece. Also I was unable to get the slim mattress supplied within the months time limit which I had so I have a bulky mattress sitting on top of an already bulky bed. In short, the size and weight of the beds is an issue.”

Hello Carol, it is great to hear that you love the finish on your new Air bed. We transport the bed in pieces so that we can bring it into any room no matter how narrow the doors, but don't worry we can take it out for you in the same way. “I was very pleased with the Furl experience, the bed arrived on time and is very comfortable. We got the Max Bed with a 60cm headboard and Luxury 1500 mattress. The only thing I would suggest is going for the integrated headboard instead of fixed with the two wooden planks one like we did, as there is quite a big gap between the mattress and the headboard so not ideal esthetically and it moves a bit which we got used to but in the beginning got us worried it was going to break every time we leaned against it. Otherwise great service, both at the showroom and during the delivery, would definitely recommend!”

“I purchased the Play sofa bed, which is a perfect fit for my space limited media room and I'm actually finding it so comfortable that I've used it as my bedroom for the past month! The mechanism of folding it back into a supportively-shaped sofa and taking it out as a bed is really smooth. The colours I picked compliment the colour scheme of my room and the quality of the fabric is easy to clean and pleasant to the touch. My only qualm is that the furniture as an item piece is REALLY heavy, so makes it difficult to move it to a different room, if I ever I decide to. Perhaps if it had wheels, this would make it more possible?”

“Don't be put off by the bad service from the sales women at the show room. It might arrive in 7weeks. The delivery man said it would loosen up in time. It appears a bit stiffer and both me and my wife have difficulty opening it out each night. Looks good though as a settee and good as a bed. Very comfortable and good for the interior look.”

“It has been well worth the expense - an ideal item for a studio flat. Unfortunately the one part which was most unpleasant was the rude unhelpful delivery man. He didn't receive the £10 note that was put aside for his tip.”

“The order process from Furl was very easy and very informative. They sent me numerous fabric samples that I requested, which was helpful in matching with the overall scheme. The lead-time is long, but the product is very good quality, stable and there really is a lot of storage. I had to rearrange the delivery once as the time given wasn't convenient. The quality is really good overall. The guys who came to install the bed did so very quickly and efficient and were really lovely and explained how it worked and care instructions. They were very professional. My only complaint is that I ordered my bed with fixed covers and it has been delivered with removable ones, which isn't ideal and not what I ordered, so make sure that you check your delivery when it comes.”

“The sofa bed has met our expectations of a product akin to a normal bed (we slept in it last night) and a vast improvement on any other sofa bed we have experienced before. We will be inviting guests, confident of their good nights sleep! The process of choosing it from the display room was straight forward and affirming. The service has been responsive in every way. Very satisfied, excellent mechanism, sturdy bed.”

“I've had my bed for about six months now, and it's great! Well made, mechanism still working perfectly, and lots of space underneath. My only minor quibble is the mattress - I bought this from the storage company to make sure it would be the right size, and to streamline delivery. I like a very firm mattress, so I chose "Firma 1400", but this isn't really firm enough for my taste. However as I said, I do like my mattress to be extremely firm - this would probably be fine for most people.”
