“It is the 5th year I have ordered the foie gras mi-cuit déveiné which is a treat for Xmas as I am from the South of France and I have to have it every year! “All the french food I love through the post ! Being an expat sometimes you miss food from home. With brexit this has made harder to get some of my favourite treat delivered. I’m glad I discovered this website. Delivery was smooth and considering the amount I have ordered it was reasonably priced. I have now managed to make at home a pork casserole like my mum used to do for my British partner by using some spice I couldn’t find here. I got my favorite Belgian chocolate ordered and the list keeps on. I will order again !”

“Really happy with the order. Only main downside was that the first delivery slot was for 3 weeks later. I placed a first order to try the service and am really happy. Fridge stuff were in ice pack, crops in good condition. Only negative point was that both rillette only had 1 week before expiring. Will order again next time I feel homesick”

“After reading about the most expensive chicken in the world and seeing them on Micky Fanagans detour de France I decided to order a Poulet de Bresse from a French Clic. The ordered was delayed a couple of days, but French Clic was great at letting me know. I cooked the beast simply roasted for 65 minutes at gas Mk 4 (180C). Note that the chicken comes with instructions, French thermostat numbers are not the same as U.K. gas. MK! (Th 6 = gas Mk 4) The resulting roast was well flavoured rich and very juicy- the texture of the meat was completely different from supermarket chicken No sign of the wooliness you can get from cheap chicken. The legs and thighs are quite strongly flavoured, quite gamy. Without doubt the best chicken I’ve ever had. Worth the price? As a very occasional treat I would say so.”
