“I used to complete my company accounts using spreadsheets and with the help of expensive accountants. It could take days to track down bad figures before submitting the numbers for my accountant to look over. All done automatically and daily now with Freeagent. Just log in, enter the days expenses, raise an invoice, check balances, look over VAT and CorpTax liabilities in realtime. It even reminds you when you need to submit data to HMRC, and has the submissions ready to go! Recommended!”

So, discovering that FreeAgent offers all the necessary tools in one place, which otherwise I would have to purchase several packages to achieve, is outstanding. “Very simple to use, the upload of bamk statements went very smoothly, it handles currencies very well and knows the difference between dollars, pounds and euros, unlike Quickbooks, say. A big time saver!.”

“I have been using other well known accounting software which I just found too complicated for me as a sole trader. I have FreeAgent linked to my natwest bank account. FreeAgent basically does all the work for you including catogorising which was my main point of confusion. Love it”

“Freeagent is so easy to navigate around and for us being a small business without admin staff, that's so important. Also, I am very impressed at the support that's been constant throughout the set up. They give you every confidence that you are doing things right. They are clearly interested in making sure the software is used in the best possible way for you. Thank you. It's actually a pleasure to use when doing the accounts are usually a dreaded chore.”

“I’m new ! But totally impressed, so far . I’m self employed and just want to get on with my job. FreeAgent let’s you ! Absolutely brilliant, I haven’t got to worry at all about the accounts. Linked to my business bank - it does it automatically. Total business control in one ! From doing an estimate for a customer to invoicing. Really enjoying seeing clearly where I’m at financially at the press of a button- anytime. Highly recommend 👍”

“Only been using it for about a month, but really pleased so far. I have a small consultancy business, and am self-employed. I do have an accounting background so have used plenty of finance systems, large and small. FreeAgent is really well suited to my needs, and I can do pretty much anything that I want with it. Set-up was easy. If I was to suggest an improvement it would be a better way to bring in balances and transactions from a previous accounting system. I ended up doing a manual journal, which was probably not ideal.”
