“Just bought Festool ks 120 chop saw, service was fine from Frank Howard but saw came with problem which FH was slow to respond too, so I went direct to Festool. KS 120 mitre saw has been let down to be honest, the rear locking device is unfit for purpose, it still moves even when lock, so every time you have check, which at nearly £1000 is a joke. Also you cant side arm without having removing part of the rear fence on compound cuts at around 45-47 deg cuts which is poor design fault. Wish I bought dewalt saw to be honest”

“"I received my Bosch drill and impact driver in good time, but on opening it noticed the seal was very easy to remove without breaking. \r\nHaving examined the drill and battery\u2019s and driver, I could see that the batteries had scuff mark on and that the one battery would not even come out if the drill, I think no it had all been used before.\r\nI sent an email with pictures and details of my issues but received no response. \r\nI have also called and was meant to have been called back on two occasions and after a week I am still waiting , very disappointed and still have no drill to use."”

“I bought the newer more powerful Makita battery chainsaw (Makita DUC353Z). It was half the price of most places and the saw was barely £30 more than the cost of the much inferior single battery model on Amazon. Item arrived in a day or two in perfect new condition. I only found this company by Googling - I usually use Amazon as it's generally price competitive, but less often on professional and prosumer lines. Frank Howard seem to have a vast range of Makita, and as that's the system I've adopted I expect to return.”

“I received an item that was damaged ,this was not apparent by either myself or the company as it was still in the manufacturer's box, (a Record Bandsaw) I contacted the firm and sent photos of the damage they immediately ordered a replacement to be sent and the damaged item to be picked up both times the delivery and the replacement were both sent quickly , I can't thank them enough for their quick and courteous service,”
