“ABSOLUTELY APPALLING. Do not use this company. After badgering us to change over to them we had Viewing cancellation after cancellation. No communication, they never answer the phone or return your calls. JACK ALLSOBROOK came round armed with a list of 100 so called people who are interested in a property just like ours in our area, certainly got the gift of the gab. He is a liar & a fraud. Ripped us off for nearly £3000. He said he would sell our house & charge 1% as we told him 1.5% was too much, after we had signed on the dotted line he took back the form supposedly to finish filling it in & unbeknownst to us changed the percentage to 1.5. We didn't double check as he has reiterated that it would definitely be 1% we found out when our solicitor paid they're fee. We called the Lewes branch Sam said he had spoken to jack & he denied everything. Sam said there is nothing they could do & that JACK had been transferred to the Crawley branch due to numerous complaints regarding his underhanded approach. £3000 that we can not afford to lose, not even a jesture of good will on they're behalf. We were also encouraged more than once to drop the price £20,000 So thank you jack for that. What a nasty piece of work you are. Really wish we had stayed with Freeman Forman. Will be double checking everything from now on. Fox & sons had Trustpilot contact me for my email & telephone number but funnily enough not heard from them. If we could prove this it would now be a police matter. Only a matter of time jack until things catch up with you.”

After winning the auction, the purchase didn't complete. This is because I didn't get a mortgage due to only 61 years remaining on the lease. I contacted several lenders and made one formal application for a mortgage. All these lenders told me that 61 years on lease is not enough to get a mortgage for 30 years.
I recommend to do you viewing carefully. the property is likely to have water leak and humidity problems as there are cracks on ceiling, walls and there springiness in the floor in the bedroom”
“Where to start with these clowns. Appointed them to sell building land. They took photos of someone else's land that was no where near the property and I had to correct them before they published. In the odd 6-7 months they were marketing, they got a sale, but I barely received any updates unless I phoned them. They never responded to any emails and told me they never received them when I challenged them... ok then, even though I copied three of them every time.
When I phoned it went to answer machine sometimes and nobody ever called back or if someone did answer, they would tell me they'd pass on a message, but still never called back. We had a sale at this point, but the builder was messing about. I decided to write a final demand email, so looked on line for the managers email address and low and behold... I've been emailing him all along, Daniel Cotterill. He's a partner and if he cannot be bothered to respond, what chance do you have. I phoned again for the last time before removing them and he answered the phone (caught him) and told him he had two weeks to get the contracts exchanged or they were getting kicked off.
Two weeks passed and nothing, so I phoned them again the day before and spoke to someone else, left a message, but still no response/call back. They were dropped three days ago and I sent a scathing email to Fox and Sons Hastings, their head office, backers and IT team. No response, there's a surprise. Don't do it. Do not use these chancers at any cost. They will try to pull you in on an overpriced deal just to get you on the books. Pay more for a better service elsewhere, which to be honest will be everywhere else.
Daniel Cotterill... you and your team are a discrace to the industry. How Fox & Sons Hastings are still trading is beyond me and I would put money on this sloppy outfit being out of business within 2 years.”
