“Easy to set up a lifetime ISA, you can top up your account any time you wish and set up a direct debit rather easily and quickly. Downside is you can't sign into your account to see how much is in there. Also, did not recieve my egift card reward for 3 months continuous savings, which was one of the reasons I chose foresters friendly society. I feel like I've been ripped off slightly.”

Existing plan holders, like yourself, are being issued invitations during a phased introduction throughout the rest of 2023. “As a member of the Foresters Friendly Society, and having held a policy before, I would have liked the opportunity to select which Court I could belong to. Also, even though I put Foresters Friendly Society in the search engine, it still came up with the other Foresters. Had I not known of this other lot, I could quite easily have gone onto the wrong site.”

“Easy simple process to apply for a new account. As a new customer, information was communicated swiftly. The only negative side was creating online account to manage the account.”

“Foresters made sure I got the best deal for my joining offer, when I transferred my Stocks & Shares ISA. The process was not quick but it did work and they sent me regular updates to keep me reassured, which I appreciate. My Isa has not been with them for 12 months, and hence I have not had a statement. If the ISA makes the projected 4% I will be happy. Then I would have given 5 starts. Sadly I have other Stocks & shares ISAs, with other companies which have lost money.”

“The small size of the organisation means the service is more personal, even if sometimes slower than more mainstream financial institutions. I have found them trustworthy and helpful, and will have no hesitation to invest more in future.”

“Opening an ISA was all pretty smooth and plain sailing. I have spoken to their customer services and both times the people have been courteous and professional and answered my queries. All in all, it has been a perfectly good experience. One star is deducted for not having access to my account on-line which would seem to be a given nowadays, but they say that is on the way and I'm in no great rush.”

“It would be nice to have a website where you could check your investments...”

To reassure you, our digital capabilities are currently in the process of being expanded and a member portal will be available soon which will allow you to view your plan details securely online. We will notify you once access is available. In the meantime, we can provide plan values over the phone on 0800 988 2418, and we also send out annual statements detailing the value of your plan. “Easy to do as I am not very computer savvy. Only problem I did the wrong investment meant to put money in a different plan.”

“I recently invested (joint) in a Bond for the first time, found the online application very easy and after a few days I received the welcome letter. I will make further investments with Foresters Friendly Society in the future and I recommend it. Now I am waiting to receive the gift card from them.”
