“Placing the order was the easy part. The delivery and assembly charge is astronomical. I wouldn’t mind if it had been done properly. All packaging wasn’t taken away or unpacked. The placement of the equipment wasn’t correct, too close to the window, so we have had to try and move this heavy equipment. I had paid extra for the weight storage equipment to be put together. Initially the guy told me it wasn’t on their paperwork and they didn’t have the time to put it together and I should get in touch with the branch I bought it from. He went away and came back a few minutes later to say it was in another piece of paper. If I hadn’t have said anything they would have left without putting it together. I paid nearly £400 for this service so you can imagine I was expecting a much better service.”

“Well I purchased 3 items - and returned 2. And for those that I returned, I wasn't given a full refund? Mail stated: "Please accept this email as confirmation that the order has been partially or fully refunded. SagePay Refunds (How long does it take?). After a retailer has issued a refund, and confirmed this back through to you, funds can take a further 3-5 days to clear into your account. It is important to remember that once a refund has been issued and the funds settled back in to your own account that your bank have a clearing process that must be followed. If the funds have not cleared 5 working days after the refund has been issued, contact the business again to ensure this has been carried out. We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused." I don't really see why it would be partially refunded (as it's not relating to there just being 2 of the 3 items refunded). The two returned products were £49.99 and £20.99 but the refund was £57.43. Shame, as I was intending to replace the returned Step products by purchasing a Bench - but haven't now pursued that avenue.”

Dear Paul Simms I am so sorry you feel you have had a bad experience with our installation service. We are always very quick to respond to any report of issues with an installation or damage to equipment . The report we had back from the installers mentions no issues nor of any damage or scratches to the equipment and nor am I able to find any report from yourself of issues. If you would be kind enough to contact service1@fitness-superstore.co.uk with some pictures of the scratches we would be delighted to look into this for you.
