Cancelled trains

We travelled from Glasgow to Oxenholme on the 19.11 train on 03-08-22. When we were waiting for the train the man who manned the buffet trolley and a young lady on only her second day in a new job stopped to talk to us. We were seven women and we'd been to see a show. These two were absolutely delightful ,full of fun and friendliness. The train was obviously new and was very smart and comfortable. The man who checked our tickets was also very friendly and helpful. This experience would make me far more likely to use the trains even at this time of disruption. The staff and facilities were a credit to the company. Five stars !

HUL MAN - no matter what time you decide to travel (and yes that includes the 5:35AM train), it will be late. 16:48 (or 15:48) return at LDS will be late... every single day... for months. Oh yes, if that's not bad enough, it'll have 3 carriages. Every single day. If you have to catch your connecting train at Selby, it's also fine because it'll be late. Every single day. Slightly depressing.

I understand this is mainly complaints BUT My husband & I recently travelled on First TransPennine Express & they couldn't have been more helpful. Especially a man called Andrew at the Thornaby ticket office. Nothing was to much trouble for him. My husband is wheelchair confined & we were worried about traveling by train. He not only helped us on the train but explained everything clearly. Through him we have visited a few places by train our latest was York.

Customer service is non existent. Staff are very unhelpful and obstructive. It's a waste of time contacting complaints. The website provides inaccurate advice. They don't care about their customers.
