“The following text of an email which I had to send Firestorm Kit after products ordered and paid for were not shipped pretty well tells the tale of my experience: Hello Firestorm Kit, Since you make no apparent attempt to communicate after I send multiple inquiries as to why your website still shows "Pending" status for the order I placed, and paid for, on 16SEP2019, I have initiated a dispute with Visa Card services. You should know that my next step is to contact the FBI office here in my local vicinity to learn if they investigate international wire/Internet fraud. I do not pursue such action lightly; but the online reviews you have garnered ranging from 1.2 to 1.9 average of 5 possible make it painfully obvious that I have little hope of ever seeing the products I sought. I do not intend to waste any more time attempting to communicate with such a sorry and despicable example of an online "business." In the hope that you receive the attention from police you have earned, I am, Will Long”

“Well, like so many others who have left their reviews here, I have fallen victim to this scam. My online payment was taken, and yet no goods have been delivered. The contact telephone number is a non-existent number and my emails have gone unanswered. I am shocked that this scam has been allowed to continue for so long without being shut down!”

“Do not buy from these guys they are scammers. I bought a gas mask from them to use during the pandemic, when it arrived it was childs size and thus unusable. That size is almost impossible for them to sell as who wants a gas mask for a child these days, so instead they palm them off to unsuspecting customers. When I returned gas mask for a refund, they refunded me, but they also returned the gas mask by post. Now they are sending me letters threatening of legal proceedings over about £60. Total and utter jokers and NOT businessmen. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!”

“DO NOT USE THIS RETAILER. They take your money. No goods arrive. The phone number does not exist. They never reply. Please take notice. I wish I had read the reviews. I have put this in the hands of my credit card company.”

“Absolutely shambolic outfit run from what looks like a shed. Avoid at all costs. Emails go unanswered. Phone number on website doesn't work. Absolutely no commitment to deliver to timescale. No attempts to manage delivery expectation. Takes payment quick enough though. Funny that. I've been caught out and have unleashed the Amex dogs of war. I will report back.”

“Kit ordered, no kit arrived. Money taken. They seem to be registered as Firestorm Trading Limited. Firestorm Cards also trades under that company, both websites have the same company house details. Firestorm Cards has an active number.”

“Quick to take your money. No communication from them for over three weeks. Informed my bank, found a new provider, then magically got an email with just a tracking number on it. Again no communication. Told them i was going to return their product when it arrived, again no communication. Product arrived and I filled out the "online form" to request a return number (after all their website states "Free Returns Hassle free returns"). No communication so I wrote an email to Firestorm asking their intentions. Basically was told - no returns period. His email stated, "Unfortunately we do not accept returns on items shipped outside of the EU unless there is a mistake in the item, a fault, defective etc I’m afraid you’ll find that consumer rights in the USA do not apply to non-US based businesses, even if we were to accept a return it would still be liable for restocking charge and yourself as a customer are liable for returns charges and P&P is non-refunable in any case unless the item is defective" Buyer beware. This company fraudulent, non-responsive and cannot be trusted to operate within best business practices. Don't waste your time or money dealing with them.”

“Scammer. Website and pricing looks good, but 2 months later my money has gone and nothing has been delivered. Looking at other reviews it seems this may have been going on for years through different ventures he has set up. I wish I had taken the time to research the background to the company with 'cheaper prices'. At first emails were replied to, but increasingly the language, grammer, spelling and tone deteriorated. At first I thought the owner maybe ex forces and struggling with mental health or PTSD so I gave him some time but now I am convinced his operation is just a scam. I don't know why he hasn't been shut down by now as so many customers (if not all) have had their money stolen.”

“My feedback is based on the product, price, and comms. Product price was best I could find online, by a significant margin. When the product arrived, it was absolutely as expected (brand new, high quality). The company website is proper ropey and yes, sometimes it feels like a scam site, however IT IS NOT. I emailed the company and they got back to me very quickly. I think the owner is at the mercy of a dodgy website developer. The site, and payment system are broken, but the owner WILL get it sorted.”

“I strongly suggest that you do not purchase anything from Firestorm Kit, or from their website, under any circumstances. My online order has not been fulfilled or delivered, in spite of full payment and delivery charges having been withdrawn from my accounts. Firestorm Kit has not acknowledged numerous emails requesting order status updates and expected delivery date. A similar request via their website has also not been replied to. Be warned that the contact telephone number 0118 328 0232 listed on their website is always unavailable as unrecognised when rung. I have notified my bank to request a refund and my behalf and to investigate Firestorm Kit as a potentially fraudulent trader. I will add another review once the investigation has been carried out and the bank's findings”

“You have been warned do NOT under any circumstances use this company I placed my order nearly a month ago and i have not received and order reference or tracking number and obviously no delivery but have taken the money there phone number on the website does NOT work and as for email i have sent them way to many to find out what's going on and give them a chance to get in contact but still have heard nothing Trading standards are now involved and if they company do give me a refund my bank said they will sort it You have been warned do not use this company”
