"Left our car with FHR (DriveFly) at Luton Airport for a week. When we got the car back the exhaust had been damaged and was making a terrible noise. We wasn't able to use the car until we got it to the garage later in the week. When we took it to the garage where we go all the time and they found that the exhaust had been damaged. We had only just had the exhaust replaced a few months prior and all was fine when we arrived at the airport. The garage said only way the damage could have been done would have been if it had been hit somehow. As well as the damage to the car it had obviously been driven as the drivers seat had been raised, the front passenger seat had been adjusted and the headrests on the back seats had both been put up as well - can't understand why this would have been necessary if a driver had just been parking it up. We also found rubbish left in the back of the car that wasn't ours and hadn't been there when we left it in their care. Having got in touch with them I've included their response below. I will not be using this service again and would advise caution to anyone who is considering using their services. Your feedback is important to us, and we do take every matter with careful consideration upon the evidence that that is available to base a fair conclusion. Having fully investigated in your matter, the following points are raised: Firstly we apologise for the feedback you have brought to our attention whilst recently using our services. Both of the drivers can confirm that they had no incidents whilst driving your vehicle and neither has there been any incidents during the duration period for the time the vehicle was parked with us. We have note of the mileage of how/where the vehicle was parked and this only suggests that it was safely parked to/from our compound only. Under the terms and conditions you signed and bound to when dropping your vehicle off on 30/04/16: 4.4 We accept no liability for mechanical, structural and electrical failure of any part of your vehicle including windscreens, glass chips, clutches, tyres and in particular alloy wheels howsoever caused. This list is not exhaustive. Only the exterior condition and mileage is agreed by both parties. The mechanical parts / interior condition is not assessed; therefore we are unable to comment on these factors. In summary, under all the prevailing evidence mentioned above, liability is denied and we are unable to assist this matter any further."
