“Didn’t want to say anything to the ladies behind the counter as they are lovely but when I looked at whisper in Aug 2018 I was overwhelmed by the boat and booked that day without looking at any other boats when I got on the boat on Sat I was very much underwhelmed from the start with the horrible smell which you did get rid of after been told about to the bathroom which looked as if it had never been cleaned in the roof with the black cobwebs and the uncleared large shower head which I refused to use I know the boats have to be ready for the next customer but I would have thought for a elite boat the finish would have been a lot better and at over £200 a night it is what would be expected the gps upstairs did not work either so we had to keep running downstairs to check speed I am sorry for this review as the boat we had last year Silver emblem was beautiful and was so looking forward to this holiday as our last one on the broads because of my husbands illness I will also put a review to the broads authority on the lack of moorings as I listened to other boaters complaining the lack of once again ime sorry for this review I’ve never done a bad one before”

“The staff on arrival were friendly and helpful. We did not experience any problems so didn't need to test the staff 😀 but if you do it is all explained at the beginning and book with all the help you need is given to you. We had a great holiday and there were 3 adults and 3 children”

“We rented the Silver Emblem for a week for a family of 4. The boat was great, easy to manoeuvre, comfortable and big enough for all of us. The boat received many admiring looks whilst cruising. On our last day today and we are already looking to book a week or 2 next year.”

“Due to death of my husband had to change our boat , lady who dealt with me was kind and sensitive. When we were on the broads our water pump did not work . A very kind gentleman came out from the yard and repaired it very quickly. Due to this we are going to book again using ferry marina for my daughters 40th birthday , great customer service”

“Fantastic family holiday with our dogs. Our third time on the Norfolk Broads but this was the first time with Ferry Marina and we will definitely be using their fleet again. The boat was clean and the staff made everything easy from the moment we arrived. We're now looking ahead to our next holiday and we've all agreed Ferry Marina will be our chosen hire company.”

“Staff welcoming, obliging and very friendly. Ian proved to be particularly helpful, and reassuring, nothing too much trouble. Boat was clean and everything we expected. Would not hesitate to recommend the company and look forward to our next visit.”

“The people/staff are brilliant. They are helpful, caring and non - judgemental. The boats are nice, laid out as shown and have pretty much all you need on board. Only issue was the pumping toilets took a while to get used to and were very noisy at night.”

“We had Azure Emblem for two weeks, it was a nice boat, half way through the first week a part on the engine failed, meaning it would not start we contacted the boat yard and the engineer came out to us. The part that was needed had to be ordered and we was told the latest it would be was Monday, resulting in us having to turn the engine off manually by getting into the engine at the back of the boat. The engineer did offer to put a temp pull cord at the back but as we had someone disabled and someone of old age it was not suitable. Through out the rest of our holiday we contacted the boat yard a few times but was told the part still wasn't in and when we was passing by we stopped off to see if it was in and the staff never seemed as if they never knew of our situation. The part never came in, so the most part of our holiday we were having to get into the engine to turn it off which we feel is unacceptable. In all the boat was lovely but was disappointed with How they left us without the part.”

“Will return no problem just thought they might have been a first aid kit and a sweeping brush on board. When we return it will be a bigger boat as more space”

“We have just spent a great week on Solitaire Emblem. The team at Ferry Marina couldn’t have been more helpful both when booking and in getting our Tesco order into the boat for our arrival as we’d been stuck in traffic. The boat was in great order, well equipped and spacious for our family of four. We were quickly on our way after a helpful briefing and had a great week in great weather. It was our first trip on the broads and we now know a lot more about how to make the most of this lovely part of the world. If anything could be improved, the mattresses could be more comfortable (mattress toppers could be an easy fix?) but the bed linen was all lovely and the welcome pack was really useful.”
