Nothing wrong with the food, it is delicious, but did not receive my whole order. Money was put back in my account for the missing items, but considering this was for our Christmas dinner, didn’t even get a voucher

Was expecting the Sirloin to have great flavour and be delicious. It was Ok but certainly not spectacular and could have bought a much cheaper joint.

Ordered our Christmas meat from Farmison. First, the good: Everything arrived on time, exactly when it said it would, with a reputable courier. The main course, Porchetta, was absolutely superb. Extremely tasty, brilliant cooking instructions for a perfectly crispy crackling, and plenty of meat to feed us (and leftovers). It was the first time we'd had this particular cut and would definitely order it again. The not so good: The dauphinoise potatoes I ordered was not properly sealed, soaking the entire delivery box and packaging with cream sauce, which leaked all over the inside and outside of the box, and obviously couldn't be eaten. The pigs in blankets and bacon-wrapped stuffing balls were not great. When they came out of the oven, they were swimming in so much watery fat it was quite unpleasant (even with an extra five minutes). Glad I had extras bought from Tesco because they were very crisp without any leakage. The duck parcels were so-so, though the cooking instructions were definitely off as they looked burnt when they came out of the oven. They tasted okay, but would not order them or the pigs in blankets again.

Ordered the barrel of fillet with truffle filling. I received a long thin tapered fillet with truffle that when cooked and carved each slice split into two small medallions, not at all like the picture or the same joint that I ordered last year. Certainly not the centrepiece of my table. The taste was good but so disappointed as you excelled last year. Dill Beasley

The meat we did receive was AMAZING. Shame we only got half our order?! I’m a first time customer and I ordered in early November but was very disappointed with the mix up.

The beef wellington needed instructions on the package. I did not take it out of the package until Christmas Eve. It arrived Friday morning. The puff was too wet and did not cook well. the meat was excellent.

I ordered a turkey, sausage meat, sauce and bread sauce for Christmas. It was all delivered perfectly fresh and arrived exactly on time. The turkey was quite tasty but the bread sauce was really unpleasant and sadly ended up in the bin. The stuffing sausage meat was ok but a little salty for my taste

A little disappointed overall. We placed an order for a luxury beef wellington for four people. The delivery charge was £10, which I questionned as the website had a banner advertising free delivery over a certain price (which my order was) however the team replied that the offer didn’t apply to Christmas deliveries. The website is therefore falsely advertising an offer which is not applicable and should be signposted as such. The order arrived on the scheduled day and having spend £105 (inc delivery) for four people I was expecting something rather wonderful. However at over £25 per person, the wellington was distinctly underwhelming. It was a nice wellington, and an ok steak, but it definitely didn’t meet the expectations given the price. We’ll go back to making our own, better quality, more luxurious ingredients, and a much lower price.

Chicken fine, lamb fine. Sausages had a very sour taste - it could have been weird herbs but all 3 packs were taut with expanded air and we threw them all away. Won’t risk Farmison again.

To be honest, I had delivery too soon, 21st. Disappointed in quality and turkey was dry despite cooking as usual. Also no real taste, disappointed year

Sausages where off made us sick threw the second pack away. The ham was excellent as was the beef . The turkey was cooked but it was packed in too much fat made it a messy experience ! Back to Waitrose or M&S next year

Thank you turkey breast was lovely. However we did not receive sourdough bread sauce or stuffing as ordered. In place we received cranberry sauce

I've been buying meat from Farmison for a few years and always been very impressed with the quality and customer service, until my last 2 orders. In fairness to Farmison, both issues I've had begin with DPD Delivery. An order at the beginning of December wasn't left in my safe place as requested, instead the proof of delivery shows my package being left on my front doorstep facing the street. Needless to say, when I returned home my package was nowhere to be seen and none of my neighbours knew anything about it ... I complained to DPD who referred me to Farmison who referred me to the police. No-one I dealt with seemed apologetic or sympathetic. I noticed the proof of "delivery" disappeared from DPD's website after my conversation wither their representative too. I'm still waiting for a resolution. My second order in December was delayed by 24hrs, with no notification. The DPD website promising delivery the following day but there was no ETA provided. Remembering that DPD are unable to help the parcel recipient I got in touch directly with Farmison customer service. The representative let my know my parcel had been damaged and would not be delivered, this contradicted the info DPD provided so I was grateful to find out the truth but also stressed to find my Christmas meat would take another 3 days to be delivered. Given my previous experience I was apprehensive but had no choice but to accept a later delivery. The 2nd delivery was also left unattended on my doorstep but thankfully I was at home and able to retrieve it straight away. The meats turned out lovely on Christmas but I was disappointed by the delay, given the high standard of customer service I'd received in previous years I had expected a voucher or token of apology in the package as I'd had when orders went wrong in the past. All in all, I would say the standards from the butchers are still very high, but based on the customer service and delivery I will be unlikely to shop with Farmison again

Slightly disappointed with my Turkey this year. In recent years the cooking times were almost spot on.I ordered Turkey with stuffing but found it contained too much stuffing which cut down the actually amount of Turkey.Overall Turkey was dry.

Disappointing order was delivered a day early, box clearly labelled Sat: delivery 23/12. Not only that it was delivered to the wrong house, not known to me! Ice packs were melting. Not the Farmison service I’m used to. Meat was good though.

The third time we've ordered a Galatyne, easy carve Turkey, first two time perfect, third time not. Poor packaging, messy butchery, just not the same. However, the customer service has been first class, and they've put things right, and turned around a poor situation. So I appreciate very much how they've dealt with it, but they do need to watch out for slipping standards.
