"How best to sum up Farer in just a few words? For me: Damn awesome! The end-to-end experience of dealing with & purchasing from Farer was super smooth. The customer service I dealt with was super friendly, informative & helpful with my question. \r\n\r\nI received the 'Portobello' model the next working day & couldn't be happier! The build quality & feel punch way above the price. On the wrist, its the smallest watch I've worn @ 38.5mm but it wears well on my 7.5\" wrist, thanks to the super-comfortable strap. Accuracy from wearing for the past 5 days is about +\/- 2s per day, which I think is flipping impressive! \r\n\r\nVery happy... now to choose the next one... ;) "

I was lucky enough to try on a few watches and ask questions at the showroom before I made my purchase and it felt like I had been invited around a friends such was the relaxed atmosphere created by Paul. I settled on the Lander IV with the orange strap, accompanied by the classic metal bracelet, and couldn’t be happier. I could watch the movement through the exhibition case back for hours!”

“I pre-ordered the second run of Stanhope II after missing out on the first run. I'm thrilled with the watch! Quality and colors are well-represented by promotional materials and the finish is beautiful in person. Seems to be running very well - maybe somewhere between -4s to -10s per day by my estimation - power reserve seems close to estimated (45hr I think). The strap quality is superb - Marine ST Venere with red stitching - and is breaking in nicely. Altogether this watch is far nicer than it has any reason to be at this price point; great value. I would not hesitate to recommend Farer to any collector or enthusiast.”

“An excellent piece. I kept seeing adverts for the Farer Stanhope ii on my Facebook wall. It immediately caught my eye so I did some research and learned that Farer is a very well respected “micro brand”. I refrained from ordering one as in the last few months I’ve bought a Rolex Datejust and a Rolex 18238. But one night after a few whiskies and the advert having popped up on my Facebook wall again, I ordered one. (Your advertisements are working Farer). The watch is beautiful and due to the clever use of texture and colour, the watch has an insanely “clean” look. I can honestly say that I wouldn't be able to fault it if I’d paid Tudor BB58 price territory for it. At £800 it’s a steal. Would be interested to see a bracelet option for it besides the mesh one though.”

“I've wanted to treat myself to a nice watch for some time and always fancied the Farer Lander IV but as soon as I saw the Durham I fell in love with it and had to have one! Next day, free postage was a real bonus and it was very safely packaged when it arrived in its nice, zipped case. The watch is an absolute stunner that looks even better in the flesh. It's one of those watches that you see a new detail on every time you look at it or when the light shines on it at different angles. The sun in the photo makes it look a lot paler than it usually looks which is a lovely salmon and copper type colour. The finish is superb and the feel and sound when you wind that crown is sublime whilst I could spend hours watching that sweeping second hand or the movement through the rear exhibition case. The fit is perfect for my 6.75in wrist although it would suit much larger or smaller sizes too and is very comfortable. The styling is beautifully classic yet fresh and I'm a real sucker for a cushion case although all that polished metal is going to be a bugger to keep clean. Maybe a part brushed case could be an idea for a future model? As far as value for money goes, the Durham really punches above its weight, looking far more expensive than it actually is and I can't find enough excuses to go out just to show it off!”

“Got the Croombs II GMT - very well-made watch - it wears beautifully, and the color contrast between the face and the hands is just excellent - sunburst finish on the dial is excellent and the overall fit and finish of the case blew me away - excellent value for money. Movement is excellent as well, running at +0/+3 secs per day on the timegrapher - also lightning-fast delivery - ordered at 1500, and received in the post at lunchtime the next day!! My first watch form Farer, but definitely not my last.”

“I was very lucky to buy the last available Carnegie; a watch which I had thought was sold out. The standard of finish is excellent and the design and colours are striking and very Fraser. The attention to detail is outstanding and exemplified by the high standard of the clasp and crown, which can be overlooked by some manufacturers. Accuracy is satisfactory at +6 seconds a day. The zip up case, instead of an impractical sometimes oversized box, is much appreciated.”

“I am delighted with my new watch! Wearing it is a joy and I can't stop looking at it. The dial is truly gorgeous and the contrasting hands work really well and spark interest. I have large wrists (7.5") and I was worried about the watch looking a fraction too small - I needn't have. I could see the Hopewell working on 95% of wrist sizes. Ordering from Farer was really straightforward. Ordered at the weekend, delivered on Tuesday. The packaging for the watch is simple and the case it comes with is really useful (unlike the presentation boxes you get with most watches). They've really put some thought into the experience and it shows. Ordering watches online can be a bit of a lottery; I've sold quite a few watches that I loved the look of on the website, but they've just failed to engage me in person. This is absolutely not the case for the Farer Hopewell - I love it. It's mine!”

“Bought a Farer Hopewell 3 with tan strap. Fantastic watch! Was looking at a 'British' designed watch and stumbled across Farer and so glad I did! I like a more 'understeted' watch but with that 'something different' about it. So, was attracted to the 3 handers collection. I chose the blue Hopewell and couldn't be happier. Such a lovely sleek design; I'm not a fan of big watches and the Hopewell fits my wrists perfectly, it's so unobtrusive while wearing it but the blue dial really shines in different light, and the tasteful use of colours give it that something special without being 'over the top'. After 1 week I decided to purchase a steel bracelet and that REALLY sets it off! It's my favourite watch and am seriously considering adding a 'Resolute', as a contrast!”

“This is my second order from Farer. I was so pleased with my first watch (Pembroke) that I ordered the Lomond field watch as well. The colours of the British designed dial are stunning and are refreshing change from the usual conventional dials of most field watches. The dimensions are a perfect size for my wrist. The water resistance is impressive as is the screw-down crown with the brass-coloured Farer logo. Despite having the watch engraved with my name it shipped incredibly fast from the UK to Canada (3 days after purchasing).”

“I am very satisfied with my new Pembroke field watch. The British designed dial is exquisite. This coupled with the Swiss movement makes this a truly wonderful & reasonably-priced time piece. “Just bought a Aquamatic Thurso. The value here immense, 1 watch + 3 straps for most occasions. As for the movement, the finish and the strap quality...outstanding. The design is literally stunning. I can stop looking at it. My wife say when wearing it, people are drawn to the watch. It's cheeky in a very British way. So vibrant. Its speaks of the Sea and sun. Holidays abroad.. I placed the order on Friday and received it the following Wednesday, it should have been Tuesday but Royal Mail decided it was too hot and delayed the delivery. “Absolutely stunning watch - great design, unique styling & colour scheme, beautifully finished right down to the finest details and a limited run. The watch has operated flawlessly so far, but I have the peace of mind of a five-year guarantee too. The only fault I can find is that the keepers on the rubber strap dig into my wrist, being that they are rather hard and rectangular. If they were slightly rounded off on the underside, they would be much more comfortable. The service I received from Farer has also been superb - the delivery was incredibly quick, and I loved the personal note that came in with the watch - nice touch; made me smile. They even spelt my name correctly, which is not that common! I revisited Farer after seeing that they won "King of Microbrands" on Watch Crunch, and I'm not regretting it - a well-deserved accolade. “A big part of Farer's allure lie in their ability to make watches that are modern and elegant and still playful. I can't think of another manufacturer that handles color and design detail as deftly. I have the Frobisher II and Stanhope II, with an assortment of straps. Both feel exceptionally well made, durable and accurate – excellent value for money. Two recommendations for the prospective Farer owner: first, consider buying multiple straps. Farer offers them in a range of hues and textures, with quick release bars that makes it easy to dress the watch up or down. And second, remember that these watches are limited production runs and can sell out quickly. If you see something you love, don't hesitate. I missed out on the Erebus and Resolute because I didn't jump.”

“The watch is magnificent. It’s very understated initially, but the more time you spend with it the better it gets. The details really make the watch. The orange seconds hand and the magnificent lume. The size is fantastic, 39mm and a really short lug to lug make this watch very wearable. I’d say it does wear a little larger than the 39mm would suggest because it’s all dial. It felt a bit more like a 40mm on my 17.5cm (6 3\4 Inch wrist). The finishing is superb. There is not a fault in sight even under a macro lens. The packaging was great too. It’s hard to find fault with Farer. Even if you don’t like the watch you buy, there is a no quibble return policy. So just send it back. The bracelets were not in stock when I purchased my Resolute, and as a bracelet guy, I can’t wait to pick one up in July when they are back in stock. The service was fantastic from Farer. The delivery was incredibly quick. I really can’t recommend Farer any more highly to you. Fabulous. Well done and thank you.”
