"How best to sum up Farer in just a few words? For me: Damn awesome! The end-to-end experience of dealing with & purchasing from Farer was super smooth. The customer service I dealt with was super friendly, informative & helpful with my question. \r\n\r\nI received the 'Portobello' model the next working day & couldn't be happier! The build quality & feel punch way above the price. On the wrist, its the smallest watch I've worn @ 38.5mm but it wears well on my 7.5\" wrist, thanks to the super-comfortable strap. Accuracy from wearing for the past 5 days is about +\/- 2s per day, which I think is flipping impressive! \r\n\r\nVery happy... now to choose the next one... ;) "

“I recently purchased the Farer Discovery Red 36mm three hand Swiss automatic watch. The watch is a nice size, not too big, and has a two-tone red dial with a slightly darker red zone near the edge and a lighter red central circle. Very attractive watch. The only thing I wasn't keen on was the red leather strap that came with it - it was too thick for me and was not very flexible, so I swapped it for a red canvas strap. The watch itself though is great, and good value.”

Despite this, when the Farer Meredith turned up....I was blown away... right from the quality of the buckle and strap, down to the case and that amazing dial... “After even sending me every strap to allow me to choose one, I was still appreciative of how the team endeavoured to maintain their commitment to their after purchase care in every instance so I cannot complain in terms of customer service. This brings me a lot of faith in the company’s integrity. “This is a really nice watch. The camera didn't show it's true colour which is more petrol blue than the deep sky blue. Finishing is lovely, the crown had a lovely oily feeling too the wind. “I have admired Farer for some time now, the company ethics, the designs, the backstories to each product series, and the attention to detail and manufacture. After very long deliberation I chose to buy a Crooms II and I am delighted with it! The purchase was easy, delivery quick and the packaging and presentation excellent. The dial, case and crystal all work in perfect harmony together, and the dial colour(s) and sunray effect are just beautiful. The hands are sharp and clear, the lume is bright, the crown is a delight to operate and the whole thing is a beautiful and tactile experience. In short, it feels special and looks special. Why did I give four stars and not five? Two minor niggles. Firstly I find the date window just a bit too small, I have to make a very conscious effort to look at it rather than just being able to read it with a quick glance. Secondly, and slightly more annoying to my OCD style brain, the GMT hand is a tiny fraction misaligned, and I do mean a tiny bit. However the result is than when the minute and hour hands exactly line up at 4pm, for example, the GMT hand is just a fraction off-centre at the 16.00 indices. Only the tiniest fraction but enough so that I noticed it. That said, it's a gorgeous watch and I will definitely be purchasing another Farer model in the future.”

“This was my first Farer watch. The quality and finish are excellent. The design is superb, with a lovely retro look. People think it is vintage. The salmon/bronze-coloured dial with the burgundy leather strap is a great combination. I love that it is from a British brand. The use of a Swiss movement adds to the quality. The price is reasonable, and it's nice that they are not automatically discounting it.”

“I just received my watch last week, and I could not be more pleased. The resolute three-hand watch is beautiful. I catch myself staring at it. The legibility along with its accuracy, which is quite good, make it a solid everyday choice. It fits underneath my long sleeve shirts because of its Slim thickness. “I guess Farer is still considered a micro brand. I don’t purchase many micro brand watches but I couldn’t resist the Swann. Everything looked great on the website. Honestly I wasn’t expecting to be highly impressed but hopefully just impressed. I can say I am highly impressed. The finishing, movement and dial are fantastic. The details really make this watch punch above the price point. It’s one of the few watches where I don’t change the strap and that happens with brands like Omega and even Moser. Not because they’re low quality but they just seem stodgy. Not the Farer strap. The purple dial radiates and the multi colored hands are perfect in harmony. Someone in design really knows what they’re doing. The movement is beautiful and wonderful to look at. There’s one little critique and that’s the numbers in the date window seem crowded when it’s on a two digit date. It’s not annoying but it’s the only negative I can find in this watch. I look forward to see what Farer comes up with down the road.”
