“Unfortunately no possibility to take a shower or use the bathroom in the lounge at Nairobi. Had to go back in public area of the airport to use the bathroom there. For the rest it was a pleasant stay.”

“WE RECENTLY USED THE NEW EDINBURGH ASPIRE LOUNGE EARLY IN THE MORNING, ARRIVING AT 6AM. WE WERE VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE SERVICE, THERE WAS A GOOD CHOICE OF HOT FOOD (BACON, SAUSAGES, BEANS, MUSHROOMS, EGGS ETC.) AND TO MY SURPRISE EVEN VEGETARIAN SAUSAGES WHICH WERE COOKED TO ORDER. PLENTY OF CHOICE OF HOT DRINKS TOO. THE STAFF WERE MOST FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL AND THE ATMOSPHERE WAS VERY RELAXING. HAVING USED THE BA LOUNGE NUMEROUS TIMES AT EDINBURGH, THE ASPIRE LOUNGE WAS MUCH BETTER IN OUR OPINION. WE WOULD NOT HESITATE TO USE THIS LOUNGE AGAIN IN THE NEAR FUTURE.”

“Although not available for arriving passengers, I booked online for a Domestic departure and learned my gate was next to the lounge immediately. Whilst in the lounge a lady who worked there offered to order hot food on her phone because I was not using QR codes that day. The food was well presented and vegetarian options adequate. Space could be more, could be private toilets and Swissport should lobby for lower lounge taxes.”

“Having visited many airport lounges, I must say this was a very poor experience at Heathrow Terminal 5. When paying to be in a relaxing lounge before a flight, you expect a certain standard and unfortunately this didn’t meet it. It felt incredibly cramped and the music was blaring out giving a chaotic feel. The staff weren’t very welcoming and the bartender didn’t seem happy to be there at all- when I asked for a drink I felt like I was being an inconvenience to her, which isn’t a nice feeling for what should be a lovely relaxing experience. It was a real shame.”

“Due to airline changing flight times, I had to re-arrange the timing for use of the Executive Lounge. This was handled in a friendly and efficient manner. On the day, our reception at the Lounge was similarly friendly and efficient. The Lounge was a peaceful haven in an otherwise busy terminal. The food and beverages were of a good standard, even if we resisted the cooked breakfast option. Overall a positive experience and certainly one to be repeated.”

“The drinks and service were great. The breakfast was horrendous though. The sausages full of gristle and the bacon was 99percent fat. Shame as been before and great service it seems that its just lazily done now”

“The Aspire lounge at Heathrow T5 was great value for money. The food was hot and fresh and the complimentary drinks went down well. It was great to have a quiet, dedicated space in which we could relax and stay comfortable before our flight.”
