“Product arrived pre-planted and was lopsided. Had to cut through all the expanding foam and reset the plant correctly myself. Not the service I expected having purchased previously from Evergreen without issue.”

“I was disappointed when I received cyclamen plant. It was completely flat! A week later it is now looking more like a plant as I have been continually spreading out branches and flowers. Perhaps you need to review packing!”

“Eucalyptus was excellent but bright green leaves on lavender don't look particularly realistic and the cyclamen flowers were enormous so also looked unrealistic.”

“Receiving the parcel was fine, no probs with the delivery, and no damage to the box. The colours and fabric of the flowers inside are good, but all flowers were very squashed, and they still have not recovered into seemingly normal-looking plants. Also, there were glue-strands left between all the stems & blooms.”

“We were disappointed with the overall look of the tree and felt that it looked unrealistic and cheap and not what we expected really. When I unpacked the tree there were many leaves sat at the bottom of the box. I have since glued them back on. Others are still falling off when its windy. Not good Sorry... ...David Rhodes”

“They hide an unsightly view of my neighbours garden. However, I had phoned up to ask about their stability. I was told that they would be fine unless positioned where there are high winds. I find this description deceiving and have had to have them bolted to the roadway for safety. I didn't want them falling on a car or person and causing damage. This seemed very possible to me without the fixing.”

“Service as always was excellent but with this purchase the quality of a mixed pink/red geranium hanging basket for summer was not as good as the pansy equivalent I had for winter. In particular the pink flower heads look very obviously "artificial". It's acceptable but not what I expected based on previous purchases.”

I am sorry to hear you are not happy with the Cyclamen plant you ordered from us. Plants are similar to clothing due to them being made of a silk material, when packaged they do crease a little and need time to hang for the plant to resume to their natural shape (this usually takes a few days) this really transforms the plant. We do have lots of close up images of the Cyclamen plant on our website but I understand that is is not always easy to appreciate exactly what a product is like when viewing on a screen. “I ordered four plants. They arrived in a box with only one of them packed separately. The other three were all over the place and a lot of the actual leaves were all crunched up and some leaves had broken off completely (as opposed to dropped off and need clicking back on). I have sorted out most and they are usable, but the trailing ivy looks very artificial so I wont use that one. I would not order again.”

Thank you for taking the time out to review our service, we do take on board all your comments to improve upon our future service. We do try to package as many plants together in one box as we are aware that excessive packaging has such a detrimental impact on our Carbon footprint. In addition to this we do try to keep delivery charges to a minimum and the more packaging and boxes required the higher the P&P costs which we do not want to pass on to you as our customer. Due to the leaves of artificial plants being made of a fine fabric they have very similar properties to clothing when packaged, it is almost impossible to transport them without a few creases but it is easily rectified. Once the plants have been un packaged and dressed out after a day or two any creases will fall out and the artificial plant will become a lot more life like. With the trailing ivy I would suggest hanging this to rectify any creases, Our trailing ivy is one of our most loved products so I am confident that after you have done this you will feel a little more impressed by this product. In terms of the leaves falling off this is not something that I would expect so if you would like some additional leaves sending I am more than happy to arrange this for you (they will just slot back on) Kind Regards, Evergreen

Hi Lesley, Thank you for taking the time to send through feedback to us. Measurements are a little subjective when it comes to planting as it does depend how you dress the foliage out. We do however endeavor to be very specific when it comes to product dimensions and on all products within the description we give a L x W x H details. “The employees were very helpful and very pleasant. The Boston ferns I bought were very realistic and look fine in planters with real plants but the variegated ivy looked very plasticky and we have had to hide them. If they hadn't been quite so large I would have returned them. Once outside they looked ,surprisingly ,far less realistic than they did indoors. Not an altogether successful purchase.”

I agree plants can look very different depending on their contrasting backdrop and this does need to be considered when selecting the plants. “I ordered a Podocarpus and a green maple tree. The trunks of both are good, the leaves of the maple are just about passable although a bit too shiny but the podocarpus leaves look completely fake. I wouldn't recommend either. I was not given any delivery options but rather the trees were delivered as they became available which was in fact inconvenient for me.”
