“Great product. Excellent service. Environmentally unfriendly packaging - with polystyrene nuggets surrounding a very robust plastic bucket of product. Honestly a whole bin bag of nuggets is totally unnecessary and I would love it if you changed your policy on packaging - or introduced an option for the client to take the risk ... no risk in this case as the bucket is super strong. Or tell the wholesaler to sell the product in a paper bag and I will re-use an old bucket.”

All of our packaging is recyclable, the chips are biodegradable, all of our cardboard is recycled. Unfortunately without valid packaging items get damaged , having done this for over 15 years we know what works and what doesn't, the perception that the buckets are strong is unfortunately not true when items fall from vans/conveyor belts. Consumer law means we cannot ask customers to take responsibility, the profit margin is extremely small on Equine Supplements, one damage and replacement means we typically have to sell 10 or more of the same product to recover the costs. Therefore strong, protective packaging is required.
