“Received very poor quality damaged 900×900 electric opener skylight, emailed customer services they admitted there mistake and offered me £100 compensation and pot of paint to brush over the scratches my self, whereas selling ex display and small cosmetic damage windows for £400 less.”

“The team at ESO's are really helpful and friendly. The customer service is excellent, with prompt replies and a wealth of knowledge. The delivery was tricky with restricted space and a lot of rooflights, EOS's made this process run smoothly. Would definitely recommend ESO. Very happy with the product and the company.”

“Natalie was fantastic throughout the process. From initial enquiry which was made via the EOS website, through to final delivery of our stunning roof light, Natalie was available on email or by phone as needed. As with other extensions there are things reconsidered along the way. Natalie was able to help us navigate the options and other dependencies at each stage. Great work!”

“We were looking for quality windows for an orangery roof. As self builders it is often hard to find the right product amongst numerous internet offerings, see samples and make a decision. We came across EOS Rooflights online but weren’t sure about the quality of the product, until meeting Chris Higgins and seeing some samples at a trade show. We chose 3 large ECO modular rooflights with solar glass and motorised openers. EOS have been very helpful with supporting us including arranging for a non-standard delivery. The product itself has proved to be good quality and straightforward to install.”

“I ordered a 2.8x1.0m eco rooflight. It was not expensive, and was delivered on time.It arrived as an upstand and top. My window fitters installed it. It is perfect in every way, very smart and neat. It has solar protection on the glass. It looks superb from underneath, and on top too. The customer service has been great, very helpful. I was talked through how to install the overhang parts, and sent some extra screws after I lost them! The whole service from EOS has been excellent.”

“Delivery, excellent Price, excellent Quality, generally excellent Installation, poor instructions and generally far more difficult than expected • There was a plastic moulding installed in the ridge bar and the hip moulding was also fitted to the ridge bar. The plastic moulding was very tightly fitted and there was no instruction on how this could be removed. This prevented the 13mm hex bolts from being inserted and the hip bars from being bolted to the hip mouldings using the tool provided (see photo). In the end I had to remove the hip mouldings, insert the 13mm hex bolts, replace the hip mouldings on the ridge and then, with a lot of difficulty and a variety of spanners to fit into the tight space in the moulding, tighten the hex bolts to secure the hips. Response from EOS: Pyramid lanterns are a little trickier to install based on access to the crown moulding but still possible, we build them all ourselves in the factory. • Fitting the end caps was highly problematic. Firstly, I had to drill out the holes for the security bolts as the holes were not properly formed and were full of casting metal. Once the holes were opened, I tried to install the security screws, but the security bit provided was the wrong one, which necessitated me purchasing the correct bit type 27 Torx. I managed to screw in the top screw, but the bottom one was far too short. I bought some 50mm Pozi’s as a trial and these worked well. I still don’t have the proper security screws for the lower screw holes. Response from EOS: If the lantern has been installed correctly then a 32mm security screw is correct, 50mm would be too long. My response - the endcaps are fully located - bottom screws are just too short! The screws can't be too long as they screw into a plastic fitting that runs parallel to the length of the hip mouldings • Lots of incorrect and unnecessary parts provided including screws with no threads! • Lastly, after fitting the top caps with the allen bolts, I fitted the plastic covers. These immediately dropped out and could not be secured unless I used an adhesive. Response from EOS: A small amount of adhesive is required in some cases as gravity will mean the cover doesn’t hold under its own weight. My response - clearly the caps are not correctly designed and fit for purpose!”

“Positive experience using EOS Rooflights. Good website, easy to follow. Delivery system was easy and flexible, the delivery driver could not have been more helpful. EOS came recommended to me from a friend and I can see why. Product is good, on site builders even commented on how quality the product looked.”

“Firstly, great service and communication during a period where most companies struggled! The skylights themselves are also fantastic, so we’ll made and easy to install. The diagrams online to help set the up stand were clear and easy so even our builder could follow them. Then they just sit on top like a shoebox lid. So simple but so precise, I can’t recommend EOS enough!”

“A mixed bag really. Ordered 2 windows that were delivered without any issues. However, I had mistakenly ordered the wrong sized windows and had to return those ordered and re-order a second pair. £150 charged for return! Delivery of second pair of windows delayed as first pair were being organised to be picked up at same time. On delivery of second pair driver not aware that he was picking up a return pair also but managed to get this sorted on sight at the time and for him to take return. Did not get refund for original windows without having to chase up EOS and also was double charged return fee postage, which again I had to chase up to get this sorted. In all communications with EOS staff I found them very pleasant and responsive but seems there are some missing links in their administration procedures that would improve their service. Windows seem robust and easy to install.”

“I spent months researching and requesting estimates for a large 3m x 1.5m Flat Roof Light; without a join. Which proved a huge learning curve. My builder advised me I should to consider having a smaller roof light or join, which I didn’t want. Thankfully, I managed to find EOS Roof Lights, who were really helpful, knowledgable, efficient and extremely competitive. I now have the Roof Light I envisaged, which looks amazing. Great level of service and fantastic product. Delivery and communications were excellent. Would certainly recommend EOS Roof Lights. Thanks Chris.”
