Installed to a high standard by John. Only issue was that the charger didn't arrive prior to his planned visit so he had to return s second time a couple of days later to complete the install.

Very happy with the work done and my installer was very polite, knowledgeable and helpful. The charger is compact and neatly installed and in my preferred location. Nothing specific to criticise but I think the EO app could be improved upon.

A neat box as portrayed in the promotional material. Charge rate up to specification. The accompanying app is in its early days and correspondingly clunky. Very smooth installation despite having to wait ages for a date.

My experience from the outset wasn't great. I had an EO Smart Home charger installed, that turned out to be not very smart; it wouldn't respond to commands from the app (the only way of controlling the unit), and had to be hard reset often. Waking up to an uncharged car is more than inconvenient; only made more frustrating by the Monday to Friday opening hours of EO's phone lines, meaning I couldn't get support there and then. The biggest frustration came with poor CRM. If I called up, the person answering the phone wouldn't have a record of my details, my charger, or all the previous calls to-hand. In other words, I was repeating myself and going through the same processes every time, with no success. Fast-forward a year, and the problems persist despite multiple troubleshooting attempts with EO. Fortunately, my case was handed to Thomas at that point, who took ownership from then on. Long story short, Thomas stayed in touch, and ultimately arranged for a new charger to be installed. Despite there being an issue with the new installation, Thomas checked in frequently meaning we were able to diagnose the problem quickly without going through basic (and unnecessary) troubleshooting steps. Even after the installation was corrected, Thomas checked in to ensure things were working as they should; it's this level of personable customer relations that I appreciate, and is an example of how customer service should be. I now have a working charger (so far so good), and faith somewhat restored in EO with an extended warranty as a goodwill gesture, in lieu of spending a year with a faulty charger!

Very professional service with regular communication about installation date, good information on what would be involved. The installation team were equally professional especially when some aspects needed to be adjusted. The only negative is our Smart Meter isn't reading the electricity meter since the charger installation and the normally very responsive Octopus team seem to be a bit overwhelmed at present

The quotation and installation booking was extremely efficient. The installer was also helpful and friendly. Point seems to be working OK and looks nice an neat. My only slight moan is that the App seems to be a bit temperamental, and I am still having issues with it.

Simon who fitted our charge point was really helpful, neat and tidy. However, no matter how many iMessage he tried he could not connect our phone to the app in order to control the charger. We have since fitted a new router and he has promised to call back and try again.

The installers from EV Domestic did a very neat job and explained how everything worked. The device connected to the Wifi without issue and the setup was quite simple. It's a nicely designed unit and delivered a nice 6.9Kw . It would be ideal if the app could be updated to easily add the tariff you are on. The app worked without issue on my Pixel 4a.

The charger itself is neat and relatively unobtrusive. The installation was efficient and the installers were very helpful - we had a site visit to work out the best location for the charger and routing of the electrical supply. Unfortunately the EO app is the weak link, it is unreliable and hard to use (as many app store reviewers have pointed out).

Charger is compact and relatively unobtrusive compared to other chargers. Simple to use, however the app is a struggle to install and needed to be reloaded twice and worked after 10 or so attempts, so patience required! App is simple to use. Works well with PV panels, especially being able to set a minimum charge level (6A) so as not to use to much from the grid when the sun goes in (most of this summer!)

All good. Think the EO Mini Pro 2 would benefit from having the socket on the underside rather than on the front. With cable plugged in the assembly protrudes from the wall even though the unit is neat and small. If underneath it would be even more neat and compact.

Simple installation process through Octopus Energy, installer was polite and efficient. Charger box is small and neat, seems to deliver the full 7kw when charging. Had an issue after it had been commissioned that it said it was charging but the car wasn’t drawing any charge, spoke to installer who talked through how to reset and seems to be working ok now. Slightly disappointed that the app/device doesn’t read the current battery level when you plug it in so you have to manually update at the start of a charge else check on the car app as to what level the battery is at. Overall does what it is supposed to do.
