Paid for an inspection which was done incorrectly, Took 6 weeks not 3 as advised by website to get an engineer to site.On positive note the engineer was a star he overcame the inspection issue charger is working well

The online tools were quick and easy to use. The problem I found is that it took nearly 2 months for the order to be processed. I had to do all the chasing as commitment dates had come and gone on numerous occasions. I also had installation dates changed. All without the slightest apology or goodwill gesture and with extra cost to myself and inconvenience of using other charging methods.

Wasn’t given a choice of charger by Mercedes had to choose this one where there’s space taken up inside for a board containing the RCD etc where the ones I install have them all built into the charger itself leading to a lot less messy installation. Also the App is not very good.

Although I enjoy the convenience of our charger if the off peak scheduling function isn't working then we re not enjoying the benefits. repeatedly the charging cycle continues into the non off peak period and we end up paying much more for our electricity. Frankly I think we deserve a refund on additional costs because this feature isn't working properly. I raised this once and the weekend setting was adjusted, but it keeps happening.

Some issues with the admin team getting the problems with my charger addressed but Jack the engineer and Lauren who organised the engineer visit were first class. They could not have done any more.

Had to chase up the quote & the installation wasnt the best result. Blown the brick as he drilled through into the garage & glued back the pieces with silicone. Picture below

I'm really happy with the charging box (and the electrician who installed it was excellent!). However the app isn't fit for purpose, hence two lost stars.

Charge point works fine. The app is useless, the readings make no sense despite good internet signal and there is very little useful information on the app. It seems I would need to enter the state of charge every night myself in order for the app to tell me when the vehicle is fully charged. The app tells me that the vehicle was charging for more than 27 hours in a single day 🤔 and the tariff information does not transfer.

The installation was booked through Electric Ireland. The installer was very good and a really nice guy. The unit however is making a clicking noise. Not sure is this normal but it’s very annoying. Has anyone else experienced this. I have uploaded the video.

Installation all ok, managed to get a short appointment time and the work was done professionally by the engineer. However ! I can't get the app to work, I've tried 4 times now, including buying a wifi extender (even though I don't think this is the issue). I can see why it only gets 2 start reviews on Appstore. I'm going to give up and just use the app I get with the car

Unit failed after first use. Up to that point it was great. I’m sure it’ll be replaced quickly but disappointed at the moment The Unit is very neat and the installation process was smooth. Just this one niggle which would’ve been a nightmare if I had a full electric but thankfully I bought a hybrid!

At the end of the day a charger is a charger. This is smaller than most and therefore not as ugly as most of them and comes in a range of colours. The app is flaky to say the least. Mine has an excellent WiFi signal, knows it’s charging but the rest of the features do nothing at all, countdown to full charge, charge history etc - nothing. The cars one works brilliantly. My installers Crosstech Electrical were excellent

Installation engineers were very competent and efficient and charger is working well. However, there was a delay of a couple of weeks in actually getting the charger installed due to a number of factors, principally the fact that it had not been stressed or noted during the survey, that an additional piece of equipment would be required for the installation. This meant that the engineers had a wasted journey on the originally scheduled date of installation plus necessitated the purchase of an additional mains charging lead to cover the delay.

Whilst charger is working, I can't get the App to work, charger off line despite good wifi signal.

Sales Dept good , informative and give confidence you have come to the right Company. The shortfall is in the logistics of the follow through from order to being installed on the wall.. All future customers need to follow up with calls/emails to check that the right hand and left hand are talking to each other in a timely format so there are no hiccups on installation day ... as there was in our experience. The intention is good at EO it just needs to put in ' more fail safe back up procedures' .

It took 3 separate appointments to install the charger. One was cancelled because the installer called in sick last minute. At second appointment it turned out EO had failed to send me all the necessary hardware. Third to finish the install when all the hardware was finally here. EO never informed me I would be send any hardware so I was unaware some bits where missing when the installer arrived.

The charger is ok, installation was easy and the fit was excellent. Main drawback, the app is absolutely garbage - looks like it’s been designed by a first year student. Really no excuse for it in this day and age. Got this as it was recommended by Octopus, but I think I would have gone with a different charger.

When it lost the Wi-fi connection it was difficult to get it to reconnect
