At 1st I had a problem on line so phoned. The 1st person I spoke to was not helpful. On the 2nd call a young lady did a lot better. However I still don't know what I am to do if I breakdown. The email I received was unhelpful. Please sort this mess out. Thank you.

Mr Thomas, Thank you for your comments. The email received by yourself contained the policy schedule and wording, which in turn, contain the important numbers required in the event of a breakdown. Apologies if these appear unhelpful but they have been resent to reiterate the information therein. Regards 2Gether Motor Breakdown Team

Poor service as I had to wait for two and half hours. I don't think I will renew with them

Mr Ata-gyamfi, Thank you for your comments. Whilst the attendance time on this occasion was longer than we would normally expect there is as always an element of force majeure will all breakdown attendances. In this instance given the location, time of day and traffic volumes, the attendance was over our normal threshold. We apologies for this, however, we hope that on the previous two attendances to your vehicle in the last 4 months the service and punctuality was as expected. Regards 2Gether Motor Breakdown Team

I know this is a cost effective policy. I cancelled my RAC as they wanted to increase the price by 50% even though I'd never used it. However I only got to see the exclusions after I had paid and it appears that the two most likely mishaps - running out of fuel or a flat tyre are either not covered or subject to clauses. And will I be asked for a main dealer stamped service book before the vehicle is repaired? Not happy and don't think I've bought peace of mind do I couldn't recommend you.

Mr Ashley, Thank you for your comments. Whilst you will not be asked for a copy of your vehicle's service history at the point of breakdown, any breakdown policy available to purchase has terms and clauses noting the vehicle must be in a maintained and road worthy condition. All of our policy wordings are available in full prior to purchase for your perusal, and whilst we do not cover either misfuelling or running out of fuel as standard, flat or punctured tyres are covered subject to a serviceable spare or inflation kit being carried aboard the vehicle in question. Had to wait up to 2 hours for a recovery to arrive, I had to ring through to see when the recovery would arrive. I was a lone woman on a country road going into work. When the recovery vehicle arrived he was extremely helpful and very polite apologising for his delay.

Seems to be a lot of exceptions to the policy. You need to pay extra to get your wheel changed.

Mr Jeffs, Thank you for your comments. As per any policy wording there are exceptions to the policy which have to be clearly outlined. With regard to wheel changes however, these are covered under all of our policies, irrespective of cover level at no extra cost. Regards 2Gether Motor Breakdown Team

Man turned up within the hour, however, he put the jack too far under my car. He actually lifted the car up from the wheel arch to pull the jack out a bit. It wasn't until later on in afternoon I noticed he has actually dented my wheel arch!! I am not happy at all as I am trading this car in next month.

Recovery chap ok, but those on the phone were rubbish, unempathetic and need training.

I have had no further information about my breakdown insurance and don't even have a number to phone in the event of a breakdown.

The help I received from the call centre was fantastic. I received a text giving eta. I received a further text from the towing company giving a similar eta. After calling the towing company 3 times (on a premium rate number from my mobile) they turned up 3 hours after eta. Was it because it was homestart and a tow to local garage I was kept waiting? The service from the towing company once they got to me was fantastic. Just the 3 hours inbetween which wasn't as delayed I wasn't able to collect my dad from hospital after an operation.

I purchased breakdown cover from 2gether but so far have not had any emails, confirmation, paperwork or proof that I actually have cover yet. Loads of spam emails from Gocompare though which I guess I can read if I breakdown.

The longest time I have ever had to wait for breakdown service in almost half a century of motoring. I contacted at approx 09:30hrs, but heard no more intil around 11:20 hrs when another co called Edgertons kindly phoned to say that they were being sent by you. He arrived at 11:45 hrs and completed in v short time around 5mins. The form he got me to sign, said that 10:45 was his time of arrival but it was 11:45. I am sure this error was only due to the fact that clocks should have been forwRded the previous weekend, but I would like you note that the actual time on the sheet is 1 hr behind the actual time odf day BST. When I first made contact your person said you were "manic" because of bank holiday. Yet the bank holiday was Monday and it was Wednesday when I contacted you. Did you mean you still had customers waiting at roadsides who had contacted you 2 days beforehand? When the mechanic arrived he had travelled 87 miles from Stafford he told me. I dont think you should accept subsrcriptions from customers if you cannot provide service in their area or within reasonable distance.

I Recently joined and had the misfortune of breaking down today due to my head gasket blowing... my car head gasket I should say, mine blew a little later in the day! I called for assistance at 13.30 today and was told it would be up to an hour and a half wait due to them being very busy. Bare in mind that we are not experiencing freezing temps nor are we in the middle of a heatwave so there isn't an increase in breakdowns due to severe weather conditions etc. An hour and a half past and reaching two hours I called to chase them up. I was told the driver would be 20mins to half an hour...... half an hour past and I called again to be told they would chase the driver and get back to me. They called me back shortly after to say they could not get hold of the driver.. how very frustrating. Eventually the driver turned up at 17.00 saying 'Sorry, traffic was bad getting here' from there depot 4 miles up the road! The contracted recovery driver was representing his company well, wearing Grey baggy tracky bottoms and trainers with the laces undone.. smart! Disappointing thing is, my sister has recently past her test and started driving and was going to get the same cover as I have here, but as suggested by my father, she is going to pay a little more and go with one of the more well known company's.... well worth the extra I'd say!

Ms Lancey, Thank you for your feedback. The reason the promotion was not applied is because the instructions contained within the email sent to you were not followed. The given link was not selected to obtain a quote and therefore the code in question was not recognised. We apologise for the confusion, and if you wish to discuss a reimbursement for the difference, please call the office on 01945 465508 pressing option 5 when prompted. Put this cover through the website several times with exactly the same details and each time it came back with a different price even though it was claiming 50% off the normal price. It cost me 48.28 for two vehicles to be covered. The next day I found Group On were selling the same cover for single vehicles at 19 pounds so I could have bought two 19 pound packages & saving over 10 pounds!! I have thankfully not had to use the service yet so I cannot comment upon the standard of call out.

Purchased policy online but I was not automatically sent my policy documents. I had to call a week or two later and request they be emailed to me.

I'm disgusted in this company. Isaw the cheap price and i clicked on it to buy it, after buying it and reading its terms & conditions etc I realised that this was not the policy for me, I called to cancel and was told a £10 administration fee would be charged even though I had only had it fro 15 minutes.

Ms Holland, Having read the terms and conditions you would have been aware that if cancelled within the first 14 days a £10 charge is levied against the refund. Thereafter if cancelled there is no return premium due. Our terms of business are advertised at the point of quotation, and a compulsory declaration to be ticked to say these have been read and understood, prior to a price being produced for consideration.
